圓明新園于公元一九九七年二月二日正式建成并開放，它坐落于珠海九洲大道石林山下，占地面積為1.39平方公里，以北京圓明園為原稿，按1：1比例精選圓明園四十景中的十八景修建而成，投資6億元人民幣，是我國首批4A級(jí)景區(qū)之一。它以其濃厚的清文化、精雅別致的亭、臺(tái)、樓、閣和氣勢(shì)磅礴的大型舞蹈表演吸引了無數(shù)國內(nèi)外游客。
圓明新園融古典皇家建筑群、江南古典園林建筑群和西洋建筑群為一體，為游客再顯了清朝盛世風(fēng)華。園內(nèi)西部，是獨(dú)具高貴氣質(zhì)的西洋建筑群，白色的大理石墻身，精致的殿內(nèi)裝飾，讓您仿佛置身于古老的歐洲宮殿。
