　　靈渠不是一般通水灌田的溝渠，它是一條古代戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的生命線，它是一條和平時(shí)期的經(jīng)濟(jì)帶。靈渠是世界上最早的運(yùn)河，它連接著湘江和漓江，溝通了長(zhǎng)江和珠江兩大水系。兩千兩百多年前，秦始皇統(tǒng)一中國(guó)后，為了擴(kuò)大疆域而調(diào)動(dòng)軍隊(duì)向南方進(jìn)攻。
