今天我們要去的第一站就是白鶴梁了，它也是我們涪陵最富盛名的景點(diǎn)。白鶴梁位于我們重慶涪陵區(qū)城中心的長江之濱，是三峽文物景觀中唯一的全國重點(diǎn)文物保護(hù)單位，聯(lián)合國教科文組織將其譽(yù)為“保存完好的世界唯一古代水文站”。它是一塊長約1600米，寬15米的天然巨型石梁。每一年12月到次年3月長江水枯的時候，才露出水面。相傳唐朝時朱真人在此修煉，后得道，乘鶴仙去，故名“白鶴梁”。

在1200多年前，也就是唐朝廣德元年，有人在白鶴梁刻下兩條石魚，記錄了當(dāng)時的枯水水位。此后，效仿者不斷，共形成了石魚雕刻18尾，生動記載了一千多年來長江72個枯水年份的水位資料，被稱為保存完好的“世界第一古代水文站”。在白鶴梁石魚文化中，還有著“石魚出水兆豐年”的民間傳說。我們的祖先認(rèn)為石魚出水的來年，是一個風(fēng)調(diào)雨順的好年景，農(nóng)民辛勤勞作，就可以換來一個好收成，主政的地方官們，可能有一個好的政績，他們把出水的石魚稱作“祥魚”。不僅如此，自唐代開始，每當(dāng)石魚出水時，歷代文人雅士，包括黃庭堅(jiān)、柳公權(quán)、蘇軾、朱熹等都會乘船來到白鶴梁，吟詩作賦并將詩文題刻于巖上，至今石刻上留下了文人墨客3萬多字真跡，篆、隸、行、草皆備，所以又被譽(yù)為“水下碑林”。
2019年整個三峽工程竣工后，水位提高到175米，在長江兩岸山體上“135”、“175”水位線標(biāo)志隨處可見，“時間緊迫”這是當(dāng)時參與三峽文物搶救的專家們的共識，他們用“搶救文物”四個字來表達(dá)他們的迫切心情。配合三峽工程進(jìn)行的文物保護(hù)工作的好壞將直接影響三峽工程建設(shè)的形象，是衡量三峽工程是否是文明工程的重要標(biāo)志。白鶴梁就屬保護(hù)工作中的一項(xiàng)重點(diǎn)工程。三峽水利工程建成后，曾經(jīng)夏隱冬現(xiàn)的白鶴梁石刻將長眠于水下40米深處，為了供世人觀賞，國家創(chuàng)造性地修建了白鶴梁水下博物館。該項(xiàng)文物保護(hù)工程由“水下博物館”、“連接交通廊道”、“水中防撞墩”、“岸上陳列館”四部分組成，于2019年5月18日白鶴梁水下博物館正式開館。

Baiheliang underwater stone inscription is located in the middle of theYangtze River in the north of Fuling District. It is a natural giant stone beamabout 1600 meters long and 15 meters wide. Shiliang is only exposed in dryseason in winter and spring. There are many different opinions about the originof its name, but they are all related to a man named Er Zhu Tongwei. It is saidthat in the Tang Dynasty, immortal Er Zhu practiced here, and later got the way.He went by the crane fairy, so he was named Baiheliang. Baiheliang inscriptionsbegan in the first year of Guangde in Tang Dynasty. There are 165 publicinscriptions on the beam, including 108 hydrological inscriptions. There are 18stone fish, two Guanyin statues and one white crane. They are mainly distributedon the 220 meter long stone beam.
Baiheliang inscriptions record 72 years of historical low water data fromthe Tang Dynasty to the present. The stone fish inscriptions on Baiheliang notonly have important scientific research and historical value, but also take theeyes of stone fish as the water mark of low water. 白鶴梁，這個詩化的名字緣何而來，雖然眾說紛紜，但都與一個叫爾朱通微的人有關(guān)。相傳，在北魏時，爾朱通微不愿與篡奪皇位的族兄爾朱榮合流，棄家學(xué)道，道成，號爾朱真人。爾朱煉丹售市，至合州，價傲太守。太守怒，將爾朱囚籠拋江。竹籠不沉，卻順江而下，至涪州白鶴云集之石梁，遇一名白石之漁人舉網(wǎng)而得之。爾朱時正酣睡，漁人久呼不應(yīng)，擊磬方蘇，遂為至交。漁人仍然輕舟布網(wǎng)，爾朱繼續(xù)修真煉丹;晚則曲膝相對清談，倦則抵足攬江入夢。竹笛漁歌，銅磬經(jīng)文，各得其趣，兩情甚篤。一日，爾朱取丹與白石漁人佐酒暢飲，醉后，乘白鶴化仙而去。白鶴梁便以此得名。
白鶴梁題刻始刻于唐朝廣德元年(公元763年)前，現(xiàn)存題刻165段，3萬余字，石魚18尾、觀音2尊、白鶴1只，其中涉及水文價值的題刻有108段，是全世界唯一的一處以刻石魚為"水標(biāo)"，并觀測記錄水文的古代水文站。比1865年我國在長江上設(shè)立的第一根水尺--武漢江漢關(guān)水文站的水位觀測記錄要早1100多年，故有"世界第一古代水文站"之稱。
據(jù)有關(guān)部門觀測，白鶴梁唐代石魚的腹高，大體相當(dāng)于涪陵地區(qū)的現(xiàn)代水文站歷年枯水位的平均值，而清康熙二十四年所刻石魚的魚眼高度，又大體相當(dāng)于川江航道部門當(dāng)?shù)厮坏牧泓c(diǎn)。1988年8月，被國務(wù)院公布為全國重點(diǎn)文物保護(hù)單位。
