Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week or last month or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions - that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

　　For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act - not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise healthcare's quality and lower its cost. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account - to spend wisely, reform bad habits and do our business in the light of day - because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control - and that a nation cannot prosper long when it favours only the prosperous. 　　我們懷著高興的心情到了電影院。電影里的主人翁是一個(gè)名叫派的孩子，有一天，派的一家人要搬家，剛到船上，就下起了暴風(fēng)雨，無(wú)情的暴風(fēng)雨把大船吹得左搖右擺，隨時(shí)都有翻船的可能，派急忙跳到了附著大船的救生艇上，而正當(dāng)別人也準(zhǔn)備跳的時(shí)候，突然，救生艇的繩子斷了，那些人跳下了海里，更不幸的是大船也翻了沉下了海底，最后只有派一個(gè)人幸存了下來(lái)。派孤獨(dú)地坐在救生艇上抱頭放聲痛哭。突然，一只叫查理帕克——孟加拉虎從救生艇上的雨蓬里跑了出來(lái)，嚇得派跑到了船頭，看見(jiàn)查理帕克并沒(méi)有傷害他的意思，由于海里大風(fēng)，感覺(jué)寒冷，于是漸漸地靠在了一起共同取暖。過(guò)了不久，他們成了好朋友。不知過(guò)了多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間，救生艇終于飄到了一個(gè)小島上，他們高興地在沙灘上跑來(lái)跑去，可是第二天派最好的朋友——查理帕克跑進(jìn)了森林里后就再也沒(méi)有回來(lái)。半年過(guò)去了，派找了很多地方都沒(méi)有找到。一天，派生病倒下了，幸運(yùn)的是，來(lái)島上考古的人發(fā)現(xiàn)了派，準(zhǔn)備把他帶岀城市，離島前派哭得很傷心，并不是因?yàn)楂@救了激動(dòng)地哭，而是擔(dān)心他最好的朋友查理帕克，是否發(fā)生了什么意外。

　　when i was seven, i started learning english. i played games and sang english songs with other children. sometimes, i watched english cartoons. it's funny. then i discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the english world.

　　i hope i can travel around the world someday. i want to go to america to visit washington, because my cousin is over there. of course, i want to go to london too, because england is where english language developed. if i can ride my bike in cambridge university, i will be very happy.

　　i hope i can speak english with everyone in the world. also i'll introduce china to them, such as the great wall, and the gardens in suzhou. i will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.

　　i like the english language. to learn english is wonderful. i once wanted to be an english teacher . i also like chinese literature. when i was really young, i was able to remember lots of poems. i also wanted to be a teacher of chinese. now i think that both of my dreams can come true: i will be able to use english to teach foreign friends chinese and share chinese culture with them. so that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years' history culture, and the prosperity of our great china.
