　　five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.

　　but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.

　　in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

　　it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.

　　so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

　　we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

　　it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.

　　those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

　　but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

　　we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

　　the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

　　we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

　　今天我演講的題目是《放飛夢(mèng)想，揮灑青春》。

　　歌里唱得好，“總是讓心聲充滿期待，總是讓夢(mèng)想連著未來，我們的心海，是一首純真浪漫的歌謠，是一條絢麗繽紛的彩帶，是跳躍著不知疲倦的音符，是播種著充滿希望的未來”。

　　作為一代青年人，我們正好處在一生中最美的年齡里。

　　青，是生命的顏色，春，是成長(zhǎng)的季節(jié)，而青春則是人生季節(jié)中最旖旎絢爛的光景。那么，沐浴在如斯的光景中，我們，該有怎樣的作為呢?如今青春已經(jīng)伴著我們走進(jìn)了大學(xué)的校園，大家活躍在這美麗的校園中，拿著課本，背著書包，青春的臉盤上洋溢著陽(yáng)光的氣息，青春的夢(mèng)想更是在我們每個(gè)人的心里編織。

　　有一位哲人說過：“夢(mèng)里走了許多路，醒來還是在床上。”它形象地告訴我們：人不能躺在夢(mèng)幻式的理想中生活�！芭c其羨魚，不如退而結(jié)網(wǎng)”，“千里之行，始于足下，”都在訴我們切莫空想，要從點(diǎn)滴開始做起，把理想真正賦予實(shí)際行動(dòng)中。

　　大一一學(xué)年，我將學(xué)習(xí)放在第一位，上課時(shí)認(rèn)真聽課，堅(jiān)持記筆記，課下常在自習(xí)室自習(xí)，也經(jīng)常會(huì)去圖書館看書，拓展自己的知識(shí)。如今我深刻的認(rèn)識(shí)到時(shí)間的珍貴，所以我努力抓住每一天，去充實(shí)自己，鍛煉自己。除了不放松學(xué)習(xí)，我還參與到學(xué)校的社會(huì)工作中。如今擔(dān)任著班級(jí)宣傳委員、院學(xué)生會(huì)成員，校學(xué)生工作助理。在工作中發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的不足并努力改正，提升了個(gè)人能力，實(shí)現(xiàn)了自我價(jià)值。在平時(shí)，我也沒有放棄參加課外活動(dòng)。演講比賽、書法比賽、英語競(jìng)賽、辯論賽等我都投入其中，和別人的合作過程，我感受到了團(tuán)隊(duì)的力量，這些活動(dòng)更是培養(yǎng)了我的興趣愛好，提升了個(gè)人素養(yǎng)和專業(yè)技能。我的夢(mèng)想是成為一名金融分析師。

　　有理想并為之奮斗的人一定是堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的人，有夢(mèng)想并陶醉其中的人一定是浪漫的人。在我心中,曾經(jīng)有一個(gè)夢(mèng),想做一位詩(shī)人,不求普希金的激情澎湃,但求徐志摩的細(xì)膩纏綿,記得孤獨(dú)時(shí),用文字做伴,從此不再單身;記得傷心時(shí),把淚雨化做詩(shī)行,撫平心靈的創(chuàng)傷。

　　當(dāng)我在人生的岔路口選擇的時(shí)候，我已做好準(zhǔn)備，當(dāng)我從岔路口走上這條路的時(shí)候，我本是一個(gè)極平常的人，能做一名教師，是我今生最大的心愿。全國(guó)著名特級(jí)教師魏書生竟是經(jīng)過150多次申請(qǐng)、六年的努力才實(shí)現(xiàn)當(dāng)教師的夙愿。如今我已無怨無悔，我愿用我的青春和熱血去澆灌祖國(guó)的未來，我心中堅(jiān)信一句話“選擇教師，我無悔”。
