Never forget to place a vase with asingle flower on the table beside the food. The kids can pick up the flower fromthe garden or buy one from the shop. Arrange everything nicely before mom wakesup. Some families will carry the food and mom’s favourite sections from thenewspaper to her bedroom so that mom can have breakfast in bed. Presents andcards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on thedining table.
After breakfast, go anywhere mom likes to go. Shopping, swimming or goingon a picnic in the garden. Make a special Mother’s Day dinner or take mom outfor a great meal in a famous restaurant she loves most.

Our house has people in and out at all hours of the day and night.
The villagers always like to come to her clinic to see the doctor and tomeet their neighbors, too.
Almost all the villagers come to my mother when their baby is due. Mymother is very good at predicting the day the baby will come.
Sometimes my mother will not get enough sleep if the babies come late atnight or early in the morning.
There are special rooms for the mother and baby, and usually they stay atthe doctor's house about twenty-four hours.
We always like to see the new babies get their first bath because they lookso red and small.
All the village people know and trust my mother because she is such aquiet, kind,and experienced friend of theirs.
