　　As you know, there are four kinds of pollution. They are air pollution,water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution. But what can we do tosolve the pollution? I think, firstly, we can make cars that don’t pollute theenvironment. We can ask companies to use modern clean technology. In some bigcities, we can limit the number of cars. Secondly, we can try to use less waterand make sure that we do not pollute the water. We can tell factories that theyare not allowed to pour waste water into the lakes and rivers. Thirdly, weshould not throw rubbish in parks and cities. We can pick up rubbish if we seeit. We can put more rubbish bins in our parks and cities. Fourthly, we can livefar from the noise and make the laws to limit the noise.

　　The air, water and the whole atmosphere directly influenced our lives, suchas the air, people may cough and it will lead to cancer. So we must try our bestto keep the world clean and tidy. To reach it, I want to put forward threepoints to everybody---Point 1: don’t spit and liter; Point 2: don’t draw on thewall; Point 3: clean the streets every day.

　　Good morning !

　　my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....

　　As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.

　　I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.

　　I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.

　　I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.

　　A Bet

　　Two pals are sitting in a pub watching the eleven-'clock news。A reporter es on about a man threatening to jump from the 20th floor of a downtown building。One friend turns to the other and says，'I'll bet you ten bucks the guy doesn't jump。'

　　'It's a bet，' agrees his buddy。

　　A few minutes later， the man on the ledge jumps，so the loser hands his pal a $10 bill。'I can't take your money，'his friend admits。'I saw him jump earlier on the six-o'clock news。'

　　'Me，too，'says the other buddy。'But I didn't think he'd do it again。

　　打賭

　　兩個(gè)好朋友正坐在一家小酒館內(nèi)觀看十一點(diǎn)的電視新聞。一則新聞報(bào)道說(shuō)，有個(gè)男人威脅要從商業(yè)區(qū)一座大樓的二十層跳下去。一位朋友轉(zhuǎn)身對(duì)另一位說(shuō)道：“我敢賭十塊錢，那家伙不會(huì)往下跳。”

　　“賭就賭，”他的朋友欣然同意。

　　幾分鐘后，站在墻檐上的男人跳了下去，因而賭輸?shù)哪俏唤唤o他的朋友一張十元的鈔票。“我不能拿你的錢，”他的朋友承認(rèn)道，“早在六點(diǎn)的新聞里，我就已見(jiàn)他跳下去了。”
