It takes a little hard work at first toremember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very littletrouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
If I were a boy again, I would look on the cheerful side. Life is very muchlike a mirror: if you smile upon it, I smile back upon you; but if you frown andlook doubtful on it, you will get a similar look in return.

To exemplify what success means to me, I pose a question to all of you. What brings us together here today? I believe that it is the beauty of the spoken word. The effect of pause and the sound of rhetoric are unique to the spoken word. I believe the beauty of the spoken word is even stronger for those who have difficulty in expressing themselves.
These people are reclusive and had their emotions hidden within them. I once went to Australia and I saw two pictures, Once was drawn by a normal child, the other was drawn by a child with social inhibitions. The picture drawn by the normal child was simple and plain. The other was life-like, full of details and imagination. What this shows is that these are ideas, emotions and feelings that are locked internally in thesechildren.
My ideal is to be the key, spreading the beauty of the spoken words to these children. These children have been neglected, but I feel that I can and should help these children to find themselves and be able to express themselves.
I realize that this is a difficult task, and there are many obstacles on the way. But I believe in my ideals and I will stick to them--even in the face of adversity. We should never have a premature abortion of ideals--let the child, let our ideals, stand the challenge. For a life without ideals is not living.

It had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. To my great surprise and delight, once on stage, I was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. As the dwarf, I was a big hit.
Yes, each of us is only one among millions of others, but each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. Cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors and textures.
A world deprived of diversity would be a bland and boring place. The real tragedy is not being short or shy or ugly, but having your identity lost in a world in which everyone is a clone of a model cool boy or a flawless charming girl.
Given a choice, I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. I'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Snow Whites. I would rather be myself. At age 10, he tried to drown himself in 4 inches of water,but did not go through with it out of love for his parents. After praying togrow arms and legs, Vujicic eventually realized that his accomplishments couldinspire others – and became grateful for his life. A key turning point came whenhis mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severedisability. Vujicic realized he wasn't unique in his struggles and began toembrace and transcend his disability.
This man, the soldier of life, came to my hometown 2 months ago. I got tolisten to him, and talk to him, face to face. I could never forget the look inhis face when he said “when I was young, I always feel cold, and dark. My firstdream was to grow arms and legs, but there is no future for me at all. ” Andnow, 28 years has passed since he was born, 28 years without arms and legs.Nick’s first dream didn't come true, but he didn't lose his faith of himself,and the faith of this life.
Nick is living a life without limbs, and also a life without limits.Compare to him, young people, there is no excuses to lose our faith in ourselvesand this world. In the picture we can see that a man is fishing attentively by the lake.Behind him there is a scholar who is stealing the fish in the man’s bucket.It is obvious that the drawer of the picture tries to reveal a serious problemin the academic circle of our country — plagiarism. In recent years academiccheats have become rampant. Quite a lot of graduate students and scholars“use” others’ ideas, articles and papers without acknowledging the sourceof information. They copy them without the fear that they might be caught.For a long time we paid less attention to the problem of plagiarism, butnow we are increasingly aware of its negative effects. Plagiarists’misconduct simply mean “stealing” others’ intellectual and academicaccomplishments, which not only depreciates their own humanity but contaminatesthe climate of the academic circle. Academic falsification is like an epidemicdisease that spreads fast and will destroy the healthy development of academicstudies. What’s worse, these plagiarists have set a very disreputable exampleto the younger generation.
So what attitude should we hold towards it? From my point of view, weshould resolutely battle against this ill phenomenon. Education of moralityshould be strengthened among the scholars and students. Those who steal others’academic achievements should be given severe punishment whenever they arespotted.
