四月，是春風和煦、萬木吐綠、百花盛開、欣欣向榮的美好季節(jié)。四月春風暖人心，她不但吹來了喜訊，吹來了春意，也吹開了我們心中的禮儀之花。校門口，一聲聲清脆的“老師，您早!”“老師，您好!”從孩子們那稚嫩的小嘴里吐出來，老師們回贈的是親切的笑容，欣賞的目光--“孩子們好!”。操場邊，一個小朋友摔倒了，伸出的卻是無數(shù)雙友愛的小手，響徹耳畔的是關(guān)切的話語“小同學，別哭，別哭，要勇敢啊!”小朋友那滿是痛楚的臉蛋也破涕為笑了。樓道上，看到的是個個側(cè)著身子讓同學先過去的身影。像這樣文明禮儀的美麗而溫情的話，在我們的校園里時時處處都綻放著。
文明禮貌是人際間用以溝通思想、交流感情、表達心意、促進了解的一種形式，是人際交往中不可缺少的潤滑劑。“人與人之間好比鏡子，您帶著笑臉走向他，他也必定帶著笑臉走進您�！�
孔子曾說過“不學禮，無以立�！蔽覈且粋�有著悠久歷史的文明古國，具有“禮儀之邦”的美稱。文明禮貌是一個國家社會風尚的真實反映，是一個民族道德素質(zhì)水平和精神文明程度的標志之一，是一個人高尚人格的真實體現(xiàn)。每個人從他來到這個世界的那一刻起，就需要別人的愛撫、安慰、體諒、關(guān)懷，都渴望真誠友情和相互幫助。當我們快樂時，需要和他人分享，有痛苦煩惱時，希望向他人傾訴;有了困難時希冀他人的幫助。同樣在與人交往中，也需要寬容，虛懷若谷的大度、對人友愛、理解，不埋怨，不嫉恨、不猜疑。得理讓人，失理道歉。真誠地與人相處，與人為善，相互尊重，相互信任。一聲“您好”，猶如春風般的溫暖，給別人帶去一天的好心情。一句“謝謝”，拉近了人們之間的距離，一聲“對不起”能化解劍拔弩張的沖突，一個“不要緊”等于給人吹去了陣陣溫潤的春風。你彎腰從地上揀起一片紙屑，會給我們美麗的校園帶來一片文明的春色。
老師們，同學們!讓我們用自己的實際行動，播撒文明的種子，掀起文明的新風。說文明話，做文明事，當文明人。讓清新的春風春雨洗滌我們的心靈，讓一切野蠻、粗俗、丑陋的言行在我們身邊消失吧!讓我們每一個人都用友好、誠懇的態(tài)度待人，用熱情、大方的舉止處事，給他人帶來愉快和諧，讓校園充滿愛的溫馨。當然，它也將使我們自己更加快樂!更加高尚!讓我們播下文明禮儀之花，在我們的校園競相綻放吧!讓我們因此而收獲到的那份珍貴的友誼再在這春光明媚的校園里傳遞吧!

什么才是真正的友誼呢?古羅馬的普拉圖斯曾說過：“在患難中結(jié)下的友誼是世界上最寶貴的東西�！毕嘈糯蠹乙欢ǹ催^《馬達加斯加》這部影片，聰明可愛的斑馬瑪?shù)�，重情重義的獅子亞力克斯，滑稽的長頸鹿梅爾曼，還有懷孕的河馬格洛莉婭誤打誤撞流落到了馬達加斯加島上，它們互幫互助，增進了彼此間的友誼。猶為讓我感動的是在斑馬失蹤時，伙伴們沒有拋棄它，冒著危險逃出動物園，展開了大范圍尋找。在獅子無助、痛苦、孤獨時，伙伴們又給予了它赤誠的愛心，讓嬌艷的友誼之花在每個人的心田綻放，在它們身上，閃爍著奪目的生命之光。四個動物被愛與友誼的溫暖之光包圍著，被彼此之間的真誠感動著，它們是最幸福的。
再談?wù)勎覀冞@一屆吧，我們已是六年級的學生了，再過半年，大家就要告別母校各奔東西了。在最后的光陰里，我們是否用一顆寬容、善良的心靈去對待同學，那難聽的臟話和揮舞的拳頭是不是也該收斂了?傷害同學的事一旦做出就無法收回，與其終生悔恨不如就從現(xiàn)在做起，珍惜友誼。

Friendship can be pure. We hear , nowdays, however, how one can be cheated by friends. Many people get along with someone because they have a lot of money. It is doultful that is real friendship. Having friends, one can be find happiness. If you are in trouble your friends will help you through or at least comfort you. When you are happy , they share it with you. They are also there for you to chat with at any time. It is a wonderful feeling, as the proverb says" to love each other is easy but to make frieds is hard", So, it is crutial that we should get along with our friends. In my opinon ,it is a shame to deceive your friends . The world would be more beautiful if it was full of filled with friendship every one of us, rich or poor, should at least have one or two good friends. my friends will listen to me when i want to speak, will wipe my eyes when i cry, will take care of me when i am sick, and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.

I know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts. Facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. Justin is the best friend I have ever had, and I know I will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory. Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. It is actually like a bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. It is also like a cup of tea. When we are thirsty, it will be our best choice, but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves, it is also the most fragrant drink. However, in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. More and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and -the beauty of friendship. They work hard in order to gain a higher position, in the society and to earn more money for their work. Of course, we don't deny that it is important to find a bet-ter place in our lives, but we wish more and more people could pay a little more attention to themselves and their friends. All of us have to spare some time for personal lives. We have to find the chance to express our emotion and love. When staying with our friends, we can release ourselves completely. the hero's mother in the movie forrest gump says, “l(fā)ife is a box ofchocolates”. i would say that life, with friendship, true friendshipparticularly, is sweet as honey. it is moonlight cast on the tranquility of alake on a mid-fall night, enchanting to the soul. it is morning dew on rosepetals, pleasant and pleasing to the sense of sight. it is cosy fire on abitterly cold winter night, warming the heart.
but as helen foster snow remarks, “friendship is no common weed that growsalong the way. it's highly cultivated and watered day by day.” like an infant,it needs constant care; like a young tree, it can not be left to the tendermercies of severe weather. true friendship consists more in “a friend in need”to give to than “a friend in need” to take from. a true friend is a person whocan be turned to, who is ready to lend a listening ear, who is willing to sharefeelings.
friendship should be mutual, otherwise it will be subject to withering likeplant in drought. like genuine love, true friendship has to be a two wayexperience. be it the former or the latter, if one expects to be solely on thereceiving end, then s/he will be too optimistic about it: it is hoping againsthope that it will last. love or friendship of this kind is dangerous, as it iscontaminated by the dark matter in human nature – selfishness.
not infrequently does friendship need to be cared and tended, fostered andnourished, so that it will “stand at every crossroad, so good and strong andtrue”.

她，是一個可愛又活潑的女孩，充滿了陽光，青春般的氣息，德、智、體、美各方面發(fā)展優(yōu)異，長得也極其Pretty——短短的小辮子像一只灰兔子的小尾巴，兩個水汪汪的大眼睛仿佛會說話，最有特色的是那張能說會道的櫻桃小嘴。
她是一個乖乖女，在家時經(jīng)常幫父母分擔家務(wù)，她是一個能干的助手，在校時把班中的事解決了許多(除了大事)，所以老班特別開心，特休閑，有這么好一秘書。她是我的好朋友，好妹妹。每天我們都一起上學，一起回家，可以說是形影不離。久而久之，友誼也在慢慢地一點一滴地積累起來了。但在一起時，沒有好好珍惜那段快樂的時間，現(xiàn)在分班了，好想念啊，“失去了才會懂得珍惜!”

when i was nine years old i went off to summer camp for the first time. and my mother packed me a suitcase full of books, which to me seemed like a perfectly natural thing to do. because in my family, reading was the primary group activity. and this might sound antisocial to you, but for us it was really just a different way of being social. you have the animal warmth of your family sitting right next to you, but you are also free to go roaming around the adventureland inside your own mind. and i had this idea that camp was going to be just like this, but better. (laughter) i had a vision of 10 girls sitting in a cabin cozily reading books in their matching nightgowns.
(laughter)
camp was more like a keg party without any alcohol. and on the very first day our counselor gathered us all together and she taught us a cheer that she said we would be doing every day for the rest of the summer to instill camp spirit. and it went like this: “r-o-w-d-i-e, that's the way we spell rowdie. rowdie, rowdie, let's get rowdie.“ yeah. so i couldn't figure out for the life of me why we were supposed to be so rowdy, or why we had to spell this word incorrectly. (laughter) but i recited a cheer. i recited a cheer along with everybody else. i did my best. and i just waited for the time that i could go off and read my books.
but the first time that i took my book out of my suitcase, the coolest girl in the bunk came up to me and she asked me, “why are you being so mellow?“ -- mellow, of course, being the exact opposite of r-o-w-d-i-e. and then the second time i tried it, the counselor came up to me with a concerned expression on her face and she repeated the point about camp spirit and said we should all work very hard to be outgoing.
and so i put my books away, back in their suitcase, and i put them under my bed, and there they stayed for the rest of the summer. and i felt kind of guilty about this. i felt as if the books needed me somehow, and they were calling out to me and i was forsaking them. but i did forsake them and i didn't open that suitcase again until i was back home with my family at the end of the summer.
now, i tell you this story about summer camp. i could have told you 50 others just like it -- all the times that i got the message that somehow my quiet and introverted style of being was not necessarily the right way to go, that i should be trying to pass as more of an extrovert. and i always sensed deep down that this was wrong and that introverts were pretty excellent just as they were. but for years i denied this intuition, and so i became a wall street lawyer, of all things, instead of the writer that i had always longed to be -- partly because i needed to prove to myself that i could be bold and assertive too. and i was always going off to crowded bars when i really would have preferred to just have a nice dinner with friends. and i made these self-negating choices so reflexively, that i wasn't even aware that i was making them.
now this is what many introverts do, and it's our loss for sure, but it is also our colleagues' loss and our communities' loss. and at the risk of sounding grandiose, it is the world's loss. because when it comes to creativity and to leadership, we need introverts doing what they do best. a third to a half of the population are introverts -- a third to a half. so that's one out of every two or three people you know. so even if you're an extrovert yourself, i'm talking about your coworkers and your spouses and your children and the person sitting next to you right now -- all of them subject to this bias that is pretty deep and real in our society. we all internalize it from a very early age without even having a language for what we're doing.

What Is Real Beauty?
It is human nature that all of us should be fond of beauty. Everybody was born with a heart for beauty.
Today in China,with the rising of our living standard, people's requirement of beauty has been heightened accordingly. Some people spare no money or energy on beautiful clothes, fashionable hair styles,the decoration of their houses and even the improvement of their looks. But it seems to me,all these are more or less confined to the beauty in appearance,or rather,the outward beauty.
In my opinion,we shouldn't only pay attention to beautiful appearance and neglect the beautification of the mind and what we are after should be the perfect unity of the outward beauty and the inner beauty. As we all know,so far as objects and animals are concerned,there is only beautiful appearance to be mentioned, but to us humanbeings, although the outward beauty really matters, the inner beauty is much more important. This was confirmed by a famous Russian writer in words much like this: “A person is not lovely for being beautiful but beautiful for being lovely. ”
Here, I'd like to quote two typical instances and I'm sure, my dear friends,from them you'll find out what real beauty is.
Recently I learned from the radio an unpleasant incident about a well known singer. She is very charming with a sweet beautiful voice and very famous for singing the song.“Devotion of Love”。 Not long ago,she was invited to Zhejiang Province to give performance. i have the answer to a question that we've all asked. the question is, why is it that the letter x represents the unknown? now i know we learned that in math class, but now it's everywhere in the culture -- the x prize, the x-files, project x, tedx. where'd that come from?
about six years ago i decided that i would learn arabic, which turns out to be a supremely logical language. to write a word or a phrase or a sentence in arabic is like crafting an equation, because every part is extremely precise and carries a lot of information. that's one of the reasons so much of what we've come to think of as western science and mathematics and engineering was really worked out in the first few centuries of the common era by the persians and the arabs and the turks.
this includes the little system in arabic called al-jebra. and al-jebr roughly translates to “the system for reconciling disparate parts.“ al-jebr finally came into english as algebra. one example among many.
the arabic texts containing this mathematical wisdom finally made their way to europe -- which is to say spain -- in the 11th and 12th centuries. and when they arrived there was tremendous interest in translating this wisdom into a european language.
but there were problems. one problem is there are some sounds in arabic that just don't make it through a european voice box without lots of practice. trust me on that one. also, those very sounds tend not to be represented by the characters that are available in european languages.
here's one of the culprits. this is the letter sheen, and it makes the sound we think of as sh -- “sh.“ it's also the very first letter of the word shalan, which means “something“ just like the the english word “something“ -- some undefined, unknown thing.
now in arabic, we can make this definite by adding the definite article “al.“ so this is al-shalan -- the unknown thing. and this is a word that appears throughout early mathematics, such as this 10th century derivation of proofs.

A Scene to Remember
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:
Today I would like to begin with a story. There was once a physical therapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a census about mountain gorillas. These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world; this put them severely under threat of poaching and being put into the zoo. She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures. She witnessed a scene, a scene taking us to a place we never imaged we've ever been, where in the very depth of the African rainforest, surrounded by trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas cuddled their babies.
Yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist, based on a true story of Mrs. Diana Fossey, who spent most of her lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.
To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our eco-environment.
Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go. It has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth. It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity. But on the other hand, many problems can occur - natural scenes aren't natural anymore. Deforestation to heat lodges are devastating Nepal. Oil spills from tourist boats are polluting Antarctica. Tribal people are forsaking their native music and dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks.
All these appalling facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been eroding our resources. Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is why the United Nations has made 20xx the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment.
Now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations are receiving donations - big notes, small notes or even coins - from housewives, plumbers, ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and invalids. Some of them cannot afford to send the money but they do. These are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood. Why? Because they care. Because they still want their Mother Nature back. Because they know it still belongs to them.
This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feels like it, smells like it, and looks like it , it's all coming from a scene to be remembered, a scene to recall and to cherish.
The other night, as I saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs. I found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to something else, someplace else, a place remembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seemed to have been except the deer.
And all those unforgettable scenes strengthened the feeling that it's time for us to do something, for our own and our coming generation.
Once again, I have come to think of Mrs. Diana Fossey because it is with her spirit, passion, courage and strong sense of our ecoenvironment that we are taking our next step into the world.
And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our minds, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.

Now, I'm coming to another true story. It's about a poor, ordinary looking old woman. She was a widow without any children, living barely from hand to mouth by picking odds and ends from rubbish heaps. However,she took in more than ten homeless orphans successively and managed to bring them up. Every day she labored from morning till night. In order to earn as much money as possible to raise the children and to keep them in school,she even went to a hospital regularly to sell her blood. She got so weak for the loss of blood that she sometimes fell in a faint on her way home.
