　　Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I’m Li Xin, from Class 8 Grade 1. Today, my topic is, “What can I do for Beijing Olympic Games?”

　　I am looking forward to the day’s coming--- August eighth 20xx, the day Beijing Olympic Games will be open, the day sports families gather in Beijing, and the day all the Chinese feel proud.

　　As a little host, I really want to be a volunteer. However, I am too young, but I can still do something for it.

　　Firstly, as a Chinese, I will welcome every friend from every part of the world. My smile will show my friendship, and the foreign friends are sure to know Beijing better from the smile on my face.

　　Next, I will study English harder. During the Olympic Games, I can communicate with the foreign friends in English and serve for them, such as to be an interpreter, to show them the way, and let them love Beijing more from my kind help.

　　Thirdly, I will learn more knowledge about Beijing and the Olympic Games. In this way, I can

　　introduce beautiful Beijing to foreign guests --- its long history, latest development and the wonderful future. Further more, I’ll try to let them know more about our country by introducing Chinese 5,000—year old history to them.

　　Because when money is spent,we can get it back.However,when time is gone,it’ll never return.That is why we mustn’t waste time.

　　It goes without saying that is time is usually limited.Even a second is very important.We should make full use of our time to do something useful.

　　But it’s a pity that there are a lot of people who do not know the importance of time .They spend their limited time smoking,drinking and playing.They do not know that wasting time means wasting part of their own lives.

　　Life is a mirror. If we smile to her, she would also return the happinessto us. But if we cry, she would be disappointed. Therefore, we should bepositive toward life, so as to get happiness.

　　Actually, happiness is everywhere if we keep a good attitude. As we keep agood mood, our world will be a sunny land, which is resounded with soft music.However, if we are pessimists, we'll find our world is full of darkness.

　　While on the other side, happiness is not a destination but a journey.Because there's no paradise at all, but we can make a paradise if we'rehard-working and intelligent. So we should work like we don't need money, smilelike we've never been hurt, and perform ourselves like no one can see us.

　　生活就是一面鏡子。如果我們對她微笑，她也會回報我們幸福。但如果我們哭泣，她會很失望。因此，我們應該積極的態(tài)度對待生活，從而得到幸福。

　　其實，如果我們保持良好的心態(tài)幸福無處不在。如果我們保持一個好心情，我們的世界將是一個充滿陽光的地方，充滿了柔和的音樂。然而，如果我們是悲觀主義者，我們會發(fā)現我們的世界充滿了黑暗。

　　而另一方面，幸福不是目的地，而是一段旅程。因為根本就沒有天堂，但如果我們勤勞有智慧，我們可以自己弄一個天堂。所以我們應該就像我們不需要錢一樣工作，就像從未受傷過一樣微笑，就像沒有人能看到我們一樣表演。
