Everyone has pressure, as long as you have things done or to heart, the pressure will go unnoticed in the attachment in the man's body, cause all sorts of "symptoms", for example: can't sleep, reduce appetite, or in a bad mood... And so on.
My pressure is not home after finish homework can't write, often busy to midnight; Dad's pressure is accounting work done; Mother's pressure because he was a career woman, a candle burning at both ends and worry can't give attention to both family and work is good, and her sister's pressure is myopic degree increased very fast, it is difficult to control.
Pressure are not necessarily bad, there are also some is good. The rules in our class, for example: not diligent student didn't change class will not be able to finish homework, because of the pressure, a heartbreaker for these people, finally they decided to change my homework finished, also get real learning, no longer look for excuses to slack off. So the pressure is often motivates us go forward.
Large and small pressure exists in our life, we should be appropriate to adjust the mood, the pressure into power, so as to let the life become more colorful.
As the pace of life continues to increase, we are fast losing the art of relaxation.Once you are in the habit of rushing through life, being on the go from morning till night,it is hard to slow down. But relaxation is essential for a healthy mind and body.
Stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. In fact, it is not the bad thing as it is often supposed to be. A certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give purpose to life. It is only when the stress gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and ill health.
The amount of stress a person can withstand depends very much on the individual. Some people are not afraid of stress, and such characters are obviously prime material for managerial responsibilities. Others lose heart at the first signs of unusual difficulties. When exposed to stress, in whatever form, we react both chemically and physically. In fact, we make a choice between "flight or fight"and in more primitive days the choices made the difference between life or death. The crises we meet today are unlikely to be so extreme, but however little the stress, it involves the same response. It is when such a reaction lasts long, through continued exposure to stress, that health becomes endangered. Such serious conditions as high blood pressure and heart diseases have established links with stress. Since we cannot remove stress from our lives (it would be unwise to do so even if we could), we need to find ways to deal with it.
Pressure seems to be a natural part in our daily life in this competitive society. Like it or not there is always pressure of one kind or another. And it seems there is hardly any way to avoid it or get rid of it. Moreover, as the pace of modern life continues to quicken, pressure seems to be on the increase all the time.
Different people have different ideas about pressure. Some hold that pressure is something very vicious. If there is too much of it, it will lead to the decline of one's physical and mental health. So they are always complaining about it or trying to flee from it. They think, only relaxation, the opposite of pressure, is what we should desire. On the other hand, others argue that pressure is not as bad as is often thought. In fact a certain amount of pressure is essential to provide motivation and meaning to our life. It is pressure that propels our progress and contributes to our success.
Personally, I'm in favor of the latter idea. I believe that a little pressure is certainly an important incentive in life. It is only when the pressure gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and bad health. Since it is impossible to avoid pressure, certainly there is no sense trying to do so or complaining about it.
Stress comes in all shapes and size, and has become pervasive, it seems to penetrate everything and everybody, it's hard to get through a day without hearing or reading something about stress. Some doctors refer to stress as some kind of new plague. However, numerous surveys confirm that the problem has progressively risen since the 1980s. Why all the disorder? After all, stress has been around since Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, Stress is an unavoidable consequence of life. Without stress, there would be no life. However, just as distress can caw disease, there are good stresses that balance this, and promote wellness.
Increased stress results in increased productivity--up to a point. However, this level differs for each of us. It's very much like the stress on a violin string. Not enough produces a dull. harsh sound. Too much makes sharp, annoying noir, or causes the string to snap. However, just the right degree can create magnificent tones. Similarly, we all need to find the proper level of stress that promotes optimal performance, and enables us to make harmonious music. Good health is more than just the absence of illness. Rather, it is a very robust state of physical and emotional well being that acknowledges the importance and inseparability of mind/body relationships. In the next program. I hope you will join me in the pursuit of learning how to exploit stress, so that it can work for you. and make you more productive, rather than self-destructive.

As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are always feeling on the go from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down. Therefore, stress goes hand in hand with the life in a competitive society.
Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They are of the opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline and hence endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body.
Personally, I’m in favor of the former view. I think it is impossible to avoid stress when one is entirely devoted to the career he pursues. In my opinion, it is only when the stress gets out of control that it can lead to poor performance and ill health.

“ We are made wise not by the recollections of the past but by our responsibility for the future”
----George Bernard Shaw
China is faced with some enormous challenges as it enters the 21st century. In order to ensure the prosperity of our nation and its future generations we must confront and ultimately solve these challenges.
Some of the more pressing issues facing China are universal. These include environmental degradation, over population andthe effects of globalization.
To overcome some of the things we need to implement include:
Enhancing our scientific and industrial technologies in such areas as IT, Bio- tech, AI and Cybernetics.
Further develop public infrastructure in under developed regions.
Promote education reform at all levels.
Introduce sustainable development initiatives.
The implementation of free trade agreement between China and ASEAN.
The benefit to China in introducing these initiatives will be significant and far-reaching. It is important to realize that these initiatives need to filter down through all elements of the society in China. For instance, cutting edge technologies and intellectual properties; the development of e-commerce based economy; an education system that encourages innovation and creativity; increased foreign investment; higher living standards; more efficient use of natural resources.
It is important for us to realize these reforms are both essential and necessary. These will help China to fulfill its vast and unrealized potential on the world stage. It will also contribute more to a globalized world of the new century.
As for the future our task is not to foresee but to enable.

The day before yesterday, someone gave me a phone call.he said“che ,i am your leader, come to my office room right now”so i felt anxious and said”who are you?and what did i do?”.he just said”i am just your leader”.i realized he is a cheater.so i said”i will call the police”he hung up immediately.so i felt scared.and i have a question:who leak my information? Ten years ago,i have never thought our personal information is important.but now if your phone number is leaked, you will be drowned in a sea of junk short message.the ID card number is one of your most important personal information.because your bank card, driving license, student card and personal resume are both binding to your ID card number.so if your ID card number leaked, that completely is a disaster. How did my information leak? In some film, a hacker use a computer attack a website and get many information.that is true.many computer virus can do this.and today is the age of big data, a good hacker can get your password from your other information.for example,a hacker build a false website, and you register for an account.the hacker would get your password and your email address. Sometimes the password is your bank account password. He just need to send you a e-mail with computer virus.your bank account and password will be leaked. So what should we do to protect our information security? First of all we shouldn’t tell others our personal information.most of the information leakage event is from our carelessness.besides,we shouldn’t register for an account easily.and i still hold a belief on don’t using number is the best way to protect information security

All of us experience failure every now and then. Although some people will avoid failure at all costs, some people welcome it. Failure can be a good teacher. It always teaches us to be better the second time around. As they say, "The more you try, the more you'll succeed."

One possible version:
Boys and girls:
We high school students do have some growing pains, but we can get rid of them correctly and wisely. First of all, some of us are upset about their figures and looks. Personally, I argue that it is one's inner beauty that really matters. That is why we needn't care about it.
Second, when we are misunderstood by our teachers, parents or even classmates, we can find a proper time to have a heart-to-heart talk with them, as communication is the best way to remove misunderstandings. Some of us complain they have few true friends. Being open-minded and ready to help others will surely gain popularity among peers.
Third, we may fall behind others, which makes us stressed. Determined to work efficiently, we can overcome any difficulty. If necessary, we may turn to the teachers for help.
Last, some of us don't have much pocket money, so they feel unhappy. Isn't it strange? So long as we have some, that's enough. We high school students should learn to save, as saving is a good virtue of the Chinese, shouldn’t we?
That's all. Thank you.

Zoos should be banned.
Nowadays, lots of people start to realize that zoos are not a good place for animals. People need zoos because it is an easy way to close the animals and also because it's convenient for people to observe them. However, zoos are in fact a cruel place for animals. Animals should live in their natural habitat. An animal's natural instinct is to run and to hunt. But that's not for animals kept in zoos. Everyday, people feed them. They've never been taught how to hunt for food and will gradually lose their natures. That will be quite cruel for a animal, especially for wild animals such as tigers and lions. You can often find in zoos that a tiger kept in cage has a loose expression in its face.We set animals in zoos and therefore feel that they won't meet danger and may be able to protect them from dying out. This may be just a excuse we find for ourselves to make animals in cages just as entertainment. We always say animals are our friends, then why we put our friends in cages?

nowadays more and more young people prefer to follow the fashion. the word 'fashion' is generally used to mean style in clothing. they make people handsome and cool. also, fashion can be something strange. from that we can be different from others. but all of these can change from time to time. and valuable personal qualities and characters never change. so i think they are the true fashions.
helpful and warm-hearted is a kind of fashion because not everyone can be like that. if you are not willing to help others, it is difficult for you to get along well with others. if you can always have a lot of friends, you are fashionable.
love is always important in the world. many people around the world need care and love. if you can show you love to the people in need, you are fashionable.
to protect the environment is fashion. if you don't use the plastic bags and do something to protect our earth, you are fashionable.
so let's form good personal qualities. let's follow the fashion.

The World's Greatest Swordsman.
At an exhibition of the world's best swordsman, the third-place fencer took the stage. A fly was released, and with an arc of his sword he cut the fly in half. The crowd cheered. Then the second-place man sliced a fly into quarters. A hush fell in anticipation of the world's greatest swordsman.
His blade came down in a mighty arc - but the insect continued on its way! The crowd was aghast. The greatest swordsman had missed his target completely, yet he continued to smile.
"Why are you so happy?" someone yelled. "You missed!"
"Ah," replied the swordsman, "you weren't watching very carefully. They fly lives, yes - but he will never be a father."

Hello, everybody !it is my great honor to be here to share my idea with you .Today,I will talk something about DREAM——A word that has changed the world .
“What do you think is the word that has really changed our world ”
When I was asked about this question for the first time ,without thinking it too much ,a word flash into my mind ——DREAM ,D-R-E-A-M.People more or less dream about different things ,to be a teacher ,a doctor ,a scientist ,a businessman and so on .All these people who have dreams should be respected ,because Dreams make the world go around .We grow great by our dreams. All big men are great dreamers in their youth.Everyone has a dream ,and everything starts as one’s daydream.
Martin Luther king had a dream. He desired for a future where blacks and whites would coexist harmoniously as equals.By speaking the way he did,he educated,he inspired,he informed not just the people there, but people throughout America and unborn generations. He pushed forward the pace of American black society towards the racial equality .
Thomas Edison had a dream. He dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by electricity, began where he stood to put his dream into action, and despite more than ten thousand failures,he stood by that dream until he made it a physical reality! And today, his dream lights up the world at night.
Walt Disney had a dream. This,in itself, wasn't unusual -- he was always dreaming. He dreamed of making the first animated feature film, and of building an amusement park that parents could enjoy right along with their kids.Walt Disney empowered his dream and today,Disneyland,Disney world and Disney theme parks attract around the world thrill millions of visitors each and every year.
John F.kennedy had a dream. He wanted to land a man on the moon and return him safely to earth so as to restore faith in the American way of life.John F.kennedy empowered his dream and 8 years later Neil Armstrong stepped on the face of the moon. The moon landing certainly gave Americans new found confidence.
Dream --- A word that has changed the world Yes ,I would say so ,wouldn’t you
Youth is a special life relay station ,the growth with the worry ,the life feeling become aware happily with the dream ,collected a unique youth melody in here .
We decide. We choose. And as we decide and choose,so are our lives formed. In the end, forming our own destiny is what ambition is about. And most importantly ,You are the one you choose to be.
It is easy to waste our lives ,our days ,our minutes .It is easy to exist than living .So hold fast to your dreams,For if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird,That cannot fly.Hold fast to your dreams,For when dreams go,life is a barren field,Frozen with snow.
Technology is power, which is not proportionally distributed among creature. Human beings and other species belong to distinctively varied categories since men grasp the strength of technology. The people with great power, driven by their greedy instinct, can easily build their prosperity upon others species' or other human-beings' suffering and torment. With high-technology, people hunt and kill cetaceans in extremely high efficiency for extra food. Developed countries build polluting factories in Third World countries and earn the profits thousand miles away. They invade small countries for hypocritical reasons just to exploit its natural resources. Science and technology have turned this world into a dog-eat-dog wild jungle. What's worse, we barely feel guilty about the conducted evils because what we have to do is to push buttons and machines are our accomplices.
However, it is humanism that stops us from becoming complete animals. Humanism made us realize the significance of living in a harmonious world and turn our spotlight on building eco-friendly industry. In the past years, we stopped killing animals for nutrition we don't need. We passed laws and regulations to protect the least-advantaged people. Because of humanism, we started to consider human beings and nature as a whole and care more than just ourselves. We filled ourselves with reason, love and compassion. Humanism keeps reminding us the consequence of abusing the immense power of technology and the great responsibility we undertake.
As human, we are deeply conscious of our common humanity. There is no way we can walk away without being tortured by our conscience after we did so many damages on nature or other forms of life. Therefore, we modify our behavior to what we think it's humane. In this way, we gradually achieve the ultimate harmony between human and nature.
In fact, humanism has done much more than just making our conscience clear. It actually saves us from destroying our planet. We all know that we can't upset the balance of nature without a price although sometimes people choose to neglect the consequences and give in to the desire of fortune. Silent Spring, a very famous book written by Rachel Carson, revealed the fact that DDT and such chemical products could be very lethal to creatures like birds, and therefore they caused irreversible damage to our eco-system. The manufacturers knew exactly about the side effects but they chose to conceal the fact for their own interests. Without the humanists like Rachel Carson, we will remain ignorant and eventualy face our own doom desperately.
The role of humanism is absolutely indispensable. It gives us a unique opportunity to be wise and act in ways that elevate us above the animal kingdom. It retains our humanness. It prevents the world from being destroyed because of our destructive instinct. So ladies and gentlemen, let passion fill your sails, but let humanism be your rudder.

Now if you had to guess, how old would you say you were when you were first asked this question? You can just hold up fingers. Three. Five. Three. Five. Five. OK. Now, raise your hand if the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" has ever caused you any anxiety.

See, the problem wasn't that I didn't have any interests -- it's that I had too many. In high school, I liked English and math and art and I built websites and I played guitar in a punk band called Frustrated Telephone Operator. Maybe you've heard of us.
This continued after high school, and at a certain point, I began to notice this pattern in myself where I would become interested in an area and I would dive in, become all-consumed, and I'd get to be pretty good at whatever it was, and then I would hit this point where I'd start to get bored. And usually I would try and persist anyway, because I had already devoted so much time and energy and sometimes money into this field. But eventually this sense of boredom, this feeling of, like, yeah, I got this, this isn't challenging anymore -- it would get to be too much. And I would have to let it go.
But then I would become interested in something else, something totally unrelated, and I would dive into that, and become all-consumed, and I'd be like, "Yes! I found my thing," and then I would hit this point again where I'd start to get bored. And eventually, I would let it go. But then I would discover something new and totally different, and I would dive into that.
This pattern caused me a lot of anxiety, for two reasons. The first was that I wasn't sure how I was going to turn any of this into a career. I thought that I would eventually have to pick one thing, deny all of my other passions, and just resign myself to being bored. The other reason it caused me so much anxiety was a little bit more personal. I worried that there was something wrong with this, and something wrong with me for being unable to stick with anything. I worried that I was afraid of commitment, or that I was scattered, or that I was self-sabotaging, afraid of my own success.
If you can relate to my story and to these feelings, I'd like you to ask yourself a question that I wish I had asked myself back then. Ask yourself where you learned to assign the meaning of wrong or abnormal to doing many things. I'll tell you where you learned it: you learned it from the culture.
We are first asked the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" when we're about five years old. And the truth is that no one really cares what you say when you're that age.
It's considered an innocuous question, posed to little kids to elicit cute replies, like, "I want to be an astronaut," or "I want to be a ballerina," or "I want to be a pirate." Insert Halloween costume here.
But this question gets asked of us again and again as we get older in various forms -- for instance, high school students might get asked what major they're going to pick in college. And at some point, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" goes from being the cute exercise it once was to the thing that keeps us up at night. Why?
See, while this question inspires kids to dream about what they could be, it does not inspire them to dream about all that they could be. In fact, it does just the opposite, because when someone asks you what you want to be, you can't reply with 20 different things, though well-meaning adults will likely chuckle and be like, "Oh, how cute, but you can't be a violin maker and a psychologist. You have to choose."
This is Dr. Bob Childs -- and he's a luthier and psychotherapist. And this is Amy Ng, a magazine editor turned illustrator, entrepreneur, teacher and creative director. But most kids don't hear about people like this. All they hear is that they're going to have to choose. But it's more than that. The notion of the narrowly focused life is highly romanticized in our culture. It's this idea of destiny or the one true calling, the idea that we each have one great thing we are meant to do during our time on this earth, and you need to figure out what that thing isand devote your life to it.
But what if you're someone who isn't wired this way? What if there are a lot of different subjects that you're curious about, and many different things you want to do? Well, there is no room for someone like you in this framework. And so you might feel alone. You might feel like you don't have a purpose. And you might feel like there's something wrong with you. There's nothing wrong with you. What you are is a multipotentialite.
A multipotentialite is someone with many interests and creative pursuits. It's a mouthful to say. It might help if you break it up into three parts: multi, potential, and ite. You can also use one of the other terms that connote the same idea, such as polymath, the Renaissance person. Actually, during the Renaissance period, it was considered the ideal to be well-versed in multiple disciplines. Barbara Sher refers to us as "scanners." Use whichever term you like, or invent your own. I have to say I find it sort of fitting that as a community, we cannot agree on a single identity.
It's easy to see your multipotentiality as a limitation or an affliction that you need to overcome. But what I've learned through speaking with people and writing about these ideas on my website, is that there are some tremendous strengths to being this way. Here are three multipotentialite super powers.
One: idea synthesis. That is, combining two or more fields and creating something new at the intersection.Sha Hwang and Rachel Binx drew from their shared interests in cartography, data visualization, travel, mathematics and design, when they founded Meshu. Meshu is a company that creates custom geographically-inspired jewelry. Sha and Rachel came up with this unique idea not despite, but because of their eclectic mix of skills and experiences. Innovation happens at the intersections. That's where the new ideas come from. And multipotentialites, with all of their backgrounds, are able to access a lot of these points of intersection.
The second multipotentialite superpower is rapid learning. When multipotentialites become interested in something, we go hard. We observe everything we can get our hands on. We're also used to being beginners, because we've been beginners so many times in the past, and this means that we're less afraid of trying new things and stepping out of our comfort zones. What's more, many skills are transferable across disciplines, and we bring everything we've learned to every new area we pursue, so we're rarely starting from scratch.
Nora Dunn is a full-time traveler and freelance writer. As a child concert pianist, she honed an incredible ability to develop muscle memory. Now, she's the fastest typist she knows.
Before becoming a writer, Nora was a financial planner. She had to learn the finer mechanics of sales when she was starting her practice, and this skill now helps her write compelling pitches to editors. It is rarely a waste of time to pursue something you're drawn to, even if you end up quitting. You might apply that knowledge in a different field entirely, in a way that you couldn't have anticipated.
The third multipotentialite superpower is adaptability; that is, the ability to morph into whatever you need to be in a given situation. Abe Cajudo is sometimes a video director, sometimes a web designer, sometimes a Kickstarter consultant, sometimes a teacher, and sometimes, apparently, James Bond.
He's valuable because he does good work. He's even more valuable because he can take on various roles, depending on his clients' needs. Fast Company magazine identified adaptability as the single most important skill to develop in order to thrive in the 21st century. The economic world is changing so quickly and unpredictably that it is the individuals and organizations that can pivot in order to meet the needs of the market that are really going to thrive.
Idea synthesis, rapid learning and adaptability: three skills that multipotentialites are very adept at, and three skills that they might lose if pressured to narrow their focus. As a society, we have a vested interest in encouraging multipotentialites to be themselves. We have a lot of complex, multidimensional problems in the world right now, and we need creative, out-of-the-box thinkers to tackle them.
Now, let's say that you are, in your heart, a specialist. You came out of the womb knowing you wanted to be a pediatric neurosurgeon. Don't worry -- there's nothing wrong with you, either.
In fact, some of the best teams are comprised of a specialist and multipotentialite paired together. The specialist can dive in deep and implement ideas, while the multipotentialite brings a breadth of knowledge to the project. It's a beautiful partnership. But we should all be designing lives and careers that are aligned with how we're wired. And sadly, multipotentialites are largely being encouraged simply to be more like their specialist peers.
So with that said, if there is one thing you take away from this talk, I hope that it is this: embrace your inner wiring, whatever that may be. If you're a specialist at heart, then by all means, specialize. That is where you'll do your best work. But to the multipotentialites in the room, including those of you who may have just realized in the last 12 minutes that you are one --
To you I say: embrace your many passions. Follow your curiosity down those rabbit holes. Explore your intersections. Embracing our inner wiring leads to a happier, more authentic life. And perhaps more importantly -- multipotentialites, the world needs us.Thank you.
Good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
Consider the lowly toilet. Many of you may not think of the toilet as a form of technology if you think of toilets at all. But, it is and has contributed greatly to the improved health and overall quality of life for mankind.
On a recent trip to Japan, I was impressed by, among other things, a gadget in most public women's restrooms, called Otohime or Sound Princess. This device produces the sound of flushing water without the need for actual flushing. The technology saves the user both the embarrassment of being heard during urination and some 20 liters of water per use in cases where a woman might flush the toilet continuously while using it.
Every time I used Otohime, I felt like a princess, an environmentalist princess on the toilet.
It was a longed for feeling. Over the past decade, I shuffled in and out of many kinds of public restrooms in China--filthy smelly water closets in outlying areas, spacious luxurious lavatories in five-star hotels, forever-occupied girls' stalls on campus during school, and smart modern mobile toilets in international fairs. But not one single "room" evoked my pride of being a princess.
And I knew why the Sound Princess had. It was not because of the high technology the small bathroom boasted which is becoming ubiquitous worldwide. It was the idealism embodied in the technology that keeps reminding me that in this ever-changing world, I am a responsible and dignified human being even when sitting on a toilet.
Humanism, no matter how it is defined, aims to strike a balance between us being at the mercy of nature and being too human-centered. In my case, I haven't relieved myself under a tree for a while. I am a proud, dutiful Chinese citizen. Gone are the days when people just found a corner to do their business resulting in poor sanitation and threats to public health. The Otohimetechnology renders me two warnings: First, I am a humble human being with an obligation to save not only my face but also natural resources. Second, there is still a long way to go in my own country not just in developing technology and the economy, but also in upholding human dignity and promoting human welfare. Take the toilet: Dirty, crowdedtoilets shall, at least, give way to clean, human-friendly ones.
Fortunately, I have seen improvements. At Shanghai World Expo 20xx, 8,000 toilets, all modern and technologically sophisticated, were installed across the site. What really delighted the visitors, however, was the user-friendly design and services. Toilets were situated every 100 meters. Several hundred volunteers served as toilet guides and sanitation workers. The ratio of female to male toilet space was set at 2.5 to 1. Soft music was played in the toilets. All this seems to celebrate the glory of comprehensive humanism.
Ladies and gentlemen, science and technology are here to improve earthly life and maximize human happiness. When our world benefits from technology, coupled with human considerations, we are bound to enjoy our life. Conversely, we suffer.
The toilet is a piece of sanitaryware and the quintessence of humanism that underlies technological innovation. Like GNP, employment rates, and space exploration efforts, the lowly equipment is an equally important measure of a progressive society. When on a toilet if we feel like a princess, we shall be proud of living in a society that values humanity. If not, we must stand up and make some changes.
And if you are still baffled with what I have said, I suggest you take off right now and go experience the bathrooms in this auditorium, because they are what makes our life beautiful or ugly, humanism considered or ignored.

Have you ever bought any food on the train? And do you ask for the receiptafter buying it? Nowadays, all trains in China provide its passengers withreceipts for commodities, but 7 years ago, things were quite different.
On 13th of October, 20__, the train T109 from Beijing to Shanghai wasspeeding on the railway. A graduate student bought a sausage at 1 yuan on thetrain, then asked for a receipt.
“Are you kidding? It’s just one yuan!” The crew member was surprised.
The student, however, answered in a determined voice, “I paid the money, soI deserve the receipt.”
“But we never give receipts on the train.’ As a result, his further requestwas turned down by a cold shoulder.
Several days later, the student sued the National Railway Ministry, for notproviding receipts for passengers.
To his dismay, the court turned down the case for lack of evidence. But he,who majored in law at that time, believed law as a most powerful weapon, so hedid not give up. Instead, he began his journey of collecting first-hand evidenceby taking trains and buying commodities aboard. When his classmates were playingsoccer, he was taking the train; When his classmates were buying food atMcdonald’s, he was buying food on the train; When his classmates were askinggirls out, he was asking for the receipts. As he joked, ‘I was either taking thetrain or on the way to take the train.’
One month later, he appeared in the court again, with newly-collectedevidence and a stronger confidence. And I guess, ladies and gentlemen, you willall cheer for the result because this time, the student won the case. Very soon,a regulation about receipts on the train came out. And whatever we buy on thetrain now, there’s a receipt for us.
Outside the court, the student was asked, “How do you make it to the end?”He said, “As a law student, I root my faith in law. I believe that law is there,to protect every person with no exception, and to ensure every person has asay.”
His words spread a strong faith in law, which is not only a doctrine of alaw student, but also a belief that all citizens ought to hold. It is this faiththat initiates the student to resort to law for a tiny issue; it is this faiththat supports him to endure all the exhausting trips when collecting evidence; It is this faith that makes a seemingly “ridiculous” receipt request legal andrightful. It is this faith that helps to change our life, enhance our judicialsystem and bring social justice.
To many, a receipt of 1 yuan is too small to mention, however rights are tobe respected and law is to be believed in. It all starts with a tiny receipt of1 yuan, but we get a monumental case, a new regulation and a bumper harvest insocial justice. The bridge that leads a tiny start to a bumper harvest is faith, the faith in law, rightful and strong.
Dear teachers and students
What is the most precious thing in the world? There is no doubt that it is human life!
Everyone is lucky to come to this beautiful earth. In a short life, as long as you live forever, you can enjoy the fresh air, the warm sunshine, the love of your relatives, the filial piety of your children, the changing life, and look forward to one beautiful hope after another.
Common sense of family fire prevention:
1. Cigarette butts and matches should not be thrown about
Do not throw cigarette butts and matchsticks in waste paper baskets or combustible sundries at will. Do not smoke in bed or on the sofa.
2. Frequent inspection of wires and sockets
Do not connect and pull wires privately, and do not overload power. Do not use too many electrical equipment on the socket, and do not use copper, iron, aluminum wire to replace the fuse on the knife switch.
3. Cut off the power when you leave home
Before leaving home or going to bed, check the electric appliances, gas switches and left kindling. When the electric equipment is not used for a long time, cut off the power supply or unplug the plug.
4. Safe use of gas
When using liquefied gas, open the gas valve before ignition. After use, turn off the gas valve before turning off the stove. Do not dump residual liquid of liquefied petroleum gas at will. If the gas leaks, close the gas valve quickly and open the window for ventilation. Do not touch the electrical switch and use open fire. Remember not to call in the place where the gas leaks.
"A lesson from the past and a teacher for the future", fire safety work has only a starting point and no ending point. Establishing a good fire safety management order is the premise and key to the development of our education.
"Stay away from fire and create a harmonious society" is our common goal. Let's work together to care more about life and fire safety. May each of us be full of love, love ourselves and loved ones. For fire safety, start with me. Work together to protect yourself and others' peace and happiness!
Thank you!
good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
"who can so properly be the inquisitors for the nation as the representatives of the nation themselves?" "the subjects of its jurisdiction are those offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men." and that's what we're talking about. in other words, [the jurisdiction comes] from the abuse or violation of some public trust.
it is wrong, i suggest, it is a misreading of the constitution for any member here to assert that for a member to vote for an article of impeachment means that that member must be convinced that the president should be removed from office. the constitution doesn't say that. the powers relating to impeachment are an essential check in the hands of the body of the legislature against and upon the encroachments of the executive. the division between the two branches of the legislature, the house and the senate, assigning to the one the right to accuse and to the other the right to judge, the framers of this constitution were very astute. they did not make the accusers and the judgers -- and the judges the same person.
we know the nature of impeachment. we've been talking about it awhile now. it is chiefly designed for the president and his high ministers to somehow be called into account. it is designed to "bridle" the executive if he engages in excesses. "it is designed as a method of national inquest into the conduct of public men." the framers confided in the congress the power if need be, to remove the president in order to strike a delicate balance between a president swollen with power and grown tyrannical, and preservation of the independence of the executive.
the nature of impeachment: a narrowly channeled exception to the separation-of-powers maxim. the federal convention of 1787 said that. it limited impeachment to high crimes and misdemeanors and discounted and opposed the term "maladministration." "it is to be used only for great misdemeanors," so it was said in the north carolina ratification convention. and in the virginia ratification convention: "we do not trust our liberty to a particular branch. we need one branch to check the other."
"no one need be afraid" -- the north carolina ratification convention -- "no one need be afraid that officers who commit oppression will pass with immunity." "prosecutions of impeachments will seldom fail to agitate the passions of the whole community," said hamilton in the federalist papers, number 65. "we divide into parties more or less friendly or inimical to the accused." i do not mean political parties in that sense.

It is a great honor for me to express my sincere wishes to the new members of the new team on behalf of all the old and young players in this exciting moment.
In June, we were intoxicated with warmth; In June, we grow up in happiness. Happy "6" childrens day, in the eyes of hundreds of millions of children are looking forward to, with lightsome pace, cana t, hereby, on behalf of the county of the young pioneers to concern and support our growth of every leader, said the most sincere thank you, from all walks of life to the hard work and selfless dedication of teachers said the most lofty respect! In June the green grass is green and vibrant. The songs of June are repeated, and they sing a brilliant heart. When we go to school, we are taught that life is not always going well, we will meet all kinds of difficulties. Everyone hears the words, but when they meet difficulties, it is hard for them to be OK with it, they feel the life is hopeless, just as hearing is easy, while taking action is another thing. Once a famous business person said that the one who faced the failure and stood up, he or she will be successful. I absolutely believe it, we are in front of so many accidents, we need to face the setback and learn from it, every setback is a test for us, only the one who passes the test can succeed. Such as when we feel it hard to study, then give up, how can we make progress. Life teaches us lesson every minute, the adverse situation is a good chance to upgrade ourselves.
good morning, ladies and gentlemen,
last summer, i volunteered(動詞) to work as an english teacher in a primary school for children of migrant workers. to be accurate, i didn't volunteer. i was dragged in literally. when my friends first hit upon the idea of this project. i was all against it. 'what?' to spend my vacation standing in the heat yelling at a bunch of nine-year-olds who couldn't even speak proper mandarin chinese? and besides. there's no pay for my toil. no. i am definitely not going. my friends twisted my arms to have me join them.
unexpectedly, the first lesson i taught turned out a lesson for me. the moment i stepped into the shabby classroom. i was touched by the loud, respectful voices in unison. 'good morning teacher !' instead of fooling around, the children were thirsty for knowledge and efficient in absorbing everything i was able to give them. this made me despise myself for i hadn't even prepared for the class. during the break. i leaned over the squeaky desk, chatting with a sweaty boy in the front row. "without air-conditioning, it's really hot here. are you tired?" not at all. said he. shaking his head. it's fine here. my dad builds asphalt roads. that is really tiring and hot.
as summer advanced. my enthusiasm as a teacher grew. i prepared my lesson carefully and even used some methods my teachers used. i organized many group activities to give the kids fun. strangely enough the heat was also becoming less and less unbearable. soon, my one-month volunnteer came to an end. when i was leaving my last class, i turned back and saw smiling faces and waving hands. never before had i ever had such a feeling of sadness. which was, nevertheless, mixed with a sense of enrichment, fulfillment and happiness. i was paid for my work, amply paid, not in terms of money, but something more valuable.
my english was improved, i was able to teach it, although not very professional. i learned about the grassroots-level society. inside myself a heart is growing. a heart that not only beats for myself. but cares for others as well. the volunteer work gave me a precious little chance of saying thanks. to people like the little boy's father who construct highways and undergrounds, build up modern skyscrapers, and make our cities more and more beautiful. to help the children with their english was all i could do at present to show my gratitude to these unsung heroes. the world may not have been fair to them. so privileged and blessed people like me make their life better. whatever i do for them, however, i know it can't be compared with what they have done to improve the quality of life in our cities. ladies and gentlemen. now i realize that voluntary shouldn't be just a one-time personal experience. it should be a lifetime activity of everybody. many of us are now offering assistance to the needy and to each other and our efforts have indeed made a difference schooling,---- or caring for the elderly in nursing homes, and helping out in 20xx beijing olympics, will not only contribute to the harmony of the world but elevate ourselves as well. emerson once said, "it's one of the most beautiful compensations of this life no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself" he was right. i hear that my university is going to organize another voluntary teaching program this summer. this time i won't be dragged in. i will volunteer. thank you !

Today we organize an English speech contestto Celebrate One hundred years anniversary of the China Communist Party establishment. Long live the great Communist Party of China. And to encourage you to learn English , to speak English and to be interested in English.
As for learning English. Different students have different ideas. Some students may ask that we are Chinese, why should we learn a foreign language? Some students may say that English is useless, it is only a waste of time, few people will use it in the future. Some may say that I will never learn English well and I am not good at learning English and so on. In order to help you learn English well I have some suggestions.
First of all, we should know the importance of English. English is one of the most important languages in the world. It is the most widely used in the world. It has become the most common language on internet and for international trade. Germans have to learn English, Japanese have to learn English. Koreans have to learn English. Chinese have to learn English too. This is an open world , a developing world. English is one of the windows to the world. It is one of the bridges to connect the world, which makes us see the world more clearly. Also English could help us to letthe worldknowChina . If we learn English well, we will have more chances to do more things, Or we will be eliminated out in today's society . We should have an active attitude in learning English. This is the first step to learn English Well.
Secondly, practice makes perfect. It is the best habit to practice English every day. Practice English anytime and anywhere. It’s a good way to improve your pronunciation by listening. Practice speaking English every day. You should catch every opportunity to speak English in class. For example, read in class, answering the teacher’s questions in class, making conversations with your classmates in class , Try your best to make good use of your class time. It's very easy to speak English well. Just open your mouth and blurt out. It’s the only good way to improve oral English. Don't be afraid of making mistakes, Don't be afraid of losing face . Don’t worry about others’ laugh . It's a secret to expand your words by reading and writing. Practice reading English over and over again. You'd better read and recite some good sentences or passages. Write English diaries, write down some good sentences, write down some good passages. There is no shortcut, but to practice. What is a talent, it's a person who repeats and practice the most. Practice makes perfect.
Thirdly, Never give up, force ourselves to be successful in some cases. Perhaps it is too hard to keep learning for some students. They may give up easily sometimes when they meet some difficulties. As long as you overcome every difficulty, you will surely grow up. Everyone has laziness , flinch, some bad habits. It takes a lot of courage and determination to break laziness, flinch, bad habits. We should conquer them no matter how hard they are. We should challenge ourselves , force ourselves to be successful in some cases . There is a story. One day a litter girl had a serious illness . She must be operated on quickly . Because of fear, she cried, shouted and refused. The doctor and the father had no choice but to control her , force her for saving her life. For example , if we have a cold , we have to take some medicine no matter how bitter it is. Or we have to take an injection no matter how painful it is . It’s said that there will be a rainbow after astorm. Never give up. Perseverance means victory. force ourselves to be successful.
Nothing is difficult to the man who will try. where there is a will, there is a way. It’s a piece of cake to learn English. Everyone is born with the ability to learn . But Whether or not you can do it well deps on your learning habits, attitudes, Research shows that successful learners have active attitudes and some good habits in common. I believe that everyone will conquer English and any difficulties by using good habits, active attitudes, courage and strong determinations.
Hope everyone will be successful .
That’s all, Thank you !

Which Is More Important: Knowledge from Books or
Knowledge from Experience
As we know, most knowledge we have comes from two sources: the books orpersonal experience in our daily life. Each one has its advantage. Maybe somepeople think that book knowledge is more important than experience knowledge. However, I am strongly against their opinion. I consider that experience is moreuseful.
Firstly, practical experience can help us find jobs successful. There aretwo kinds of people: experienced employees and college graduates, if you are amanager, which one do you prefer? There is no doubt that you will choose theexperienced employees. Because they have more practical knowledge, theyunderstand what their companies needs and how to make profit for theircompanies. Some college graduates have learned much book knowledge, but theycan’t take advantage of these theories effectively. Therefore, many companiesare not willing to employ graduates. This phenomenon tells us experience is moreimportant for us to find good jobs.
Secondly, experience can give us more impressed knowledge. It’s said thatone learn by doing, if you want to make advances, it’s necessary to practice. Moreover, we learn how to get along with others or how to have self-respect fromexperience. We feel happy and sorrow directly from experience. The preciousknowledge absolutely can’t get from books.
Thirdly, our country’s development depends on innovation, which comes fromexperimentation. Comparing Chinese education system with American’s, we knowthat Chinese education usually pay more attention to scores students get andneglect their ability of innovation. On the contrary, American educationemphasizes personal practice, that’s the reason why the progress of Americantechnology is so rapid. The contrast reminds us of the importance of experienceknowledge.
Needless to say both learning sources have their own advantages. But in myopinion, experience knowledge is more important, because without practicalexperience, it’s impossible to get a real understanding of book knowledge, andto know how to apply this knowledge to real situations.

justice story: "impeachment" is attended -- "is intended for occasional and extraordinary cases where a superior power acting for the whole people is put into operation to protect their rights and rescue their liberties from violations." we know about the huston plan. we know about the break-in of the psychiatrist's office. we know that there was absolute complete direction on september 3rd when the president indicated that a surreptitious entry had been made in dr. fielding's office, after having met with mr. ehrlichman and mr. young. "protect their rights." "rescue their liberties from violation."
the carolina ratification convention impeachment criteria: those are impeachable "who behave amiss or betray their public trust."4 beginning shortly after the watergate break-in and continuing to the present time, the president has engaged in a series of public statements and actions designed to thwart the lawful investigation by government prosecutors. moreover, the president has made public announcements and assertions bearing on the watergate case, which the evidence will show he knew to be false. these assertions, false assertions, impeachable, those who misbehave. those who "behave amiss or betray the public trust."
james madison again at the constitutional convention: "a president is impeachable if he attempts to subvert the constitution." the constitution charges the president with the task of taking care that the laws be faithfully executed, and yet the president has counseled his aides to commit perjury, willfully disregard the secrecy of grand jury proceedings, conceal surreptitious entry, attempt to compromise a federal judge, while publicly displaying his cooperation with the processes of criminal justice. "a president is impeachable if he attempts to subvert the constitution."
if the impeachment provision in the constitution of the united states will not reach the offenses charged here, then perhaps that 18th-century constitution should be abandoned to a 20th-century paper shredder.
has the president committed offenses, and planned, and directed, and acquiesced in a course of conduct which the constitution will not tolerate? that's the question. we know that. we know the question. we should now forthwith proceed to answer the question. it is reason, and not passion, which must guide our deliberations, guide our debate, and guide our decision.
i yield back the balance of my time, mr. Chairman.
