However,there are still many people who like putting off thethings that should do today until tomorrow.Theyhave no plans for their work and their time. As aresult, they will not accomplish their goals in theend. For example, one Sunday I felt so tired after having a football match that I did not finishmy homework even at night. I thought I could get up earlier to go to school the next morningso that I could finish my homework before class. But the next morning I was not able to get toschool in time because of the traffic jam. I was punished by the teacher. It taught me a lesson.From then on I made a determination that I would never put off anything important until thenext day. Please remember: Work today, for you don’t know how much you may be hinderedtomorrow. Seize the present day，cherish every minute you have now and trust the tomorrowas little as possible.

　　Good morning ladies and gentlemen, today, I would like to introduce mybeloved hometown—Inner Mongolia to all of you. It has been 57 years since thebirth of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on May 1st, 1947. Dominated by theMongolian nationality, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located on thenorthern frontier of China. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region occupies anarea of 1.18 million square kilometers and has a population of about 20 millionpeople who represent a score of different nationalities. Every time when peopletalk about Inner Mongolia, they’ll come down to the vast grassland. Yes, theInner Mongolian prairie area makes up a quarter of the total grassland area ofthe country. On the boundless expanse of the Inner Mongolian prairie are livingnumerous sheep, Cattle and horses, on which our Mongolian have lived forgenerations. That is why the grassland is eulogized as “cradle of life”. Thereare two vast grasslands in my hometown—Hulun Buir Grasslands and Xilin GolGrasslands which are both world-famous regions. People in Inner Mongolia arefamous for their bravery, enthusiasm and hospitality. No mater where you arefrom, as long as you come to a herdsman’s house, you will be warmly entertainedwith roasted whole lamb and milk tea, and what’s more, you can also appreciatebeautiful Mongolian songs and elegant dances. It is not exaggerating to sayMongolians are born singers and dancers. The moment you set your feet on thegrassland areas you will discover it is indeed a real land of songs anddances.

　　Today’s Inner Mongolia still maintains her ethnic characteristics and atthe dame time, she tries to keep pace with the development of the modern world.Ordus is a worldwide well-known brand, Yili and Mengniu are both the famousdairy industries, which have greatly improved the living standard of ourMongolian people. And I’m sure, our Mongolian people will make great effort tocontribute to our hometown. As a college student, I know quite clearly that mymission is to master solid knowledge and one day do good to my belovedhometown.

　　早上好，女士們先生們，今天我想給大家介紹一下我的家鄉(xiāng)——內(nèi)蒙古。內(nèi)蒙古自治區(qū)區(qū)自1947年5月1日成立以來(lái)，已有57年的歷史了。坐落在中國(guó)北部邊陲的內(nèi)蒙古自治區(qū)是一個(gè)以蒙古族為主的地區(qū)。它擁有118萬(wàn)平方公里的土地面積，20__萬(wàn)來(lái)自不同民族的人民共同居住在這里。

　　每當(dāng)人們談到內(nèi)蒙古都會(huì)想到遼闊的草原，是的，內(nèi)蒙古的草原面積占全國(guó)總草原面積的1/4。成群的羊兒，牛兒和馬兒生活在這片無(wú)邊無(wú)際的草原上，是它們養(yǎng)育了世世代代的草原兒女，因此，草原也被贊頌為“生命的搖籃”。我們的家鄉(xiāng)有兩大世界著名的草原——呼倫貝爾大草原和錫林郭勒大草原。蒙古族是一個(gè)勇敢、熱情、好客的民族，如果你去到牧民的家里，無(wú)論你來(lái)自哪兒，熱情的牧民都會(huì)用烤全羊和奶茶款待你，同時(shí)，你還可以欣賞到優(yōu)美的蒙古族歌舞。蒙古族人民天生能歌善舞，這一點(diǎn)兒也不夸張，在你踏上草原的那一刻，你就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)這確實(shí)是一片歌舞的海洋。

　　今天的內(nèi)蒙古仍然保留著她的民族特色，同時(shí)，她還時(shí)刻緊跟時(shí)代的步伐。鄂爾多斯是聞名世界的知名品牌，伊利和蒙牛兩業(yè)集團(tuán)是內(nèi)蒙古經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的支柱產(chǎn)業(yè)。我相信，草原人民一定會(huì)繼續(xù)努力為家鄉(xiāng)的發(fā)展做出貢獻(xiàn)，作為一名大學(xué)生，我會(huì)掌握好扎實(shí)的知識(shí)，回報(bào)我可愛(ài)的家鄉(xiāng)。
