　　當你們看著可愛的動畫片，玩著迷人的電腦游戲，坐上快速的列車，接聽著越洋電話的時候，……你可曾意識到科學的力量，科學不僅改變了這個世界，也改變了我們的生活，科學就在我們身邊。

　　翻開20世紀的壯麗篇章，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)人類在這百年中不僅經(jīng)歷了血與火的洗禮，更創(chuàng)造了無數(shù)科學奇跡。19世紀法國著名科幻小說家凡爾納的虛構，當時讓人不可思議，他所幻想的登月旅行、飛機、遠射程炮等，在20世紀都一一成為現(xiàn)實。在21世紀的今天，高科技更是無處不在。

　　作為跨世紀的一代，我們又該以怎樣的姿態(tài)去適應新世紀，擔起新世紀的重擔呢？ 科學技術的日新月異，使得科學不只為尖端技術服務，也越來越多地滲透到我們的日常生活之中，這就需要正處于青少年時代的我們熱愛科學，學習科學。參加科技“五小”比賽、閱讀科技書籍，使我明白了許多道理。精密的機器人，不用燃料的汽車，虛擬的足球賽，高科技信息的傳送等等，一個個生動有趣的現(xiàn)象，激起了我探索科學的愿望。

　　我們每個人都要學習科學，傳播文明，在享受新生活的同時，更要創(chuàng)造新生活，如今，科技產(chǎn)品的更新?lián)Q代不斷加快，可視電視、電腦上網(wǎng)、心臟起搏器，已經(jīng)不算新鮮了。從1901年發(fā)明的真空吸塵器，到人造地球衛(wèi)星、載人宇宙飛船，科技在不同領域里顯示出了強大的力量。電子產(chǎn)業(yè)、通訊技術的日益普及，納米技術、超導材料的廣泛應用，不久的一天，也許就在你的餐桌上，會出現(xiàn)像太空青椒、人造牛排等生物工程食品。學習科學技術，不僅僅是為了成為科學家，也是為了能適應生活，更為了能成為新世紀的主人，擔起新世紀，為國家建設，為人類文明做出貢獻。

　　新中國成立以來，我國的科技發(fā)展突飛猛進，人工合成胰島素、斷手再植、雜交水稻、爆炸原子彈和氫彈、發(fā)射人造衛(wèi)星和飛船等等，這些令世人矚目的科技成就，大大縮短了我國和先進國家的科學技術的差距，為我國的現(xiàn)代化建設注入了活力。鄧小平爺爺說“科學技術是第一生產(chǎn)力”，的確如此，科學為我們祖國的騰飛插上了翅膀。毛澤東主席曾對青年說，世界是你們的，也是我們的，但歸根結底是你們的。這句話，飽含了長輩們對我們的殷切期望。如果說長輩們用辛勤的勞動建設了20世紀的祖國，那么，我們就應該以知識、以科學擔起新世紀的重擔。

　　同學們，我們正處于成長發(fā)育階段，學習科學，讓我們從小做起。我們要努力學好各種文化課，因為這是一切學習的基礎；同時，對各種適合我們小學生看的科普書籍、報刊，最好在課余多閱讀一些；還應該積極動手搞各種科學小實驗、小制作，寫科學小論文等，培養(yǎng)對科學的興趣。長此下去，我們一定能夠熱愛科學，擁有豐富的科學知識。 人類的智慧是無限的，無論是美國的挑戰(zhàn)者號爆炸，還是全球計算機病毒的升級，從來都不能阻止人類的科技進步�！爸�識就是力量”，培根這句膾炙人口的格言不知激勵了多少渴求知識的人。如今，讓我們也用它來勉勵自己，做一個熱愛科學的新一代，擔起新世紀的重任，為我們祖國的明天，譜寫出更加輝煌的詩篇！
