To me, the present time is highly valued and easily lost in the world. Because of its easy loss, it is thought to be much more valuable.
Why is the present time most valuable? Now I'd better quote Yue Manson's words as the answer. He said; "If you love time, you'd better love the present time. The time passed will never come back to you again. Though you are not sure about the existence of tomorrow, you will be certain about it today and now. Today you will have the day, which will mean two days tomorrow."
Why is the present time easily lost? Because our universe is so vast. Because our universe turns without stopping. Because time is valuable people cherish it highly. You may ask me what you mean by the present time. What I mean is the time being now. But it passes as quick as a flash and becomes the past. What pity it is if I let it go neglectfully!

我以為世界上最可寶貴的就是"今"，最易喪失的也是"今"，因?yàn)樗钊菀讍适�，所以更覺(jué)她的?易喪失，1 ∥裁?今"最可貴呢？最好借哲人耶曼孫所說(shuō)的話來(lái)回答這個(gè)疑問(wèn)："你若愛(ài)千古，爾當(dāng)愛(ài)現(xiàn)在。昨日不能喚回來(lái)，明天還不確實(shí)，爾能確有把握的就是今日。今日一天，當(dāng)明日兩天。"
為什么"今"最易喪失呢？因?yàn)橛钪娲蠡�，刻刻流轉(zhuǎn)，絕不停留。時(shí)間這個(gè)東西，也因?yàn)槲崛速F她愛(ài)她而稍稍在人間留戀。試問(wèn)吾人說(shuō)"今"，是吾人的"現(xiàn)在"嗎？剛剛說(shuō)她是"今"是"現(xiàn)在"，而她早已風(fēng)馳電掣一般，已成"過(guò)去"了。吾人若要糊糊涂涂地把她丟掉，豈不可惜？

Today, gentlemen, as I know that many among you are interested in the land, and as I feel that what is termed "agriculture distress" is at the present moment a topic too serious to be omitted from our consideration, I shall say some words upon the subject of that agricultural distress, and particularly, because in connection with it there have arisen in some quarters of the country proposals which have received a countenance far beyond their deserts, to reverse or to compromise the work which it took us one whole generation to achieve, and to revert to the mischievous, obstructive, and improving system of protection.
