　　90年前的五月四日，3000多北京學(xué)生高呼“外爭國權(quán)，內(nèi)懲國賊”、“取消二十一條”、“拒絕在合約上簽字”等口號，掀開了中國革命的新篇章。這既是一場影響深遠的偉大的愛國運動，也是一場深刻的思想解放的運動和新文化運動。

　　是的!這就是偉大的五四愛國運動。

　　在這場波瀾壯闊的革命青年運動中，愛國主義精神同科學(xué)、民主精神凝聚為一體，共同創(chuàng)造了既有深刻內(nèi)涵、又有鮮明時代特征的“五四”精神。“五四精神”是中國青年強烈愛國熱情的體現(xiàn)、是一種追求進步的精神、是一種不畏艱難，頑強斗爭的精神、它是革命前輩們，給我們留下的一筆中華民族寶貴的精神財富-----愛國、進步、民主、科學(xué)。
