in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.
so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

我把翹起來的一片葉子按下來，并用繩子用力的扎緊。成功啦!我按照前面的方法，包了好多個(gè)�，F(xiàn)在就要下鍋了，先是把水燒開，然后把粽子放下去。
過了一會(huì)兒，粽子煮好了。大家四人坐在桌子旁，吃起了粽子。
我把繩子解開，正想把葉子摘掉，可我一碰，就被燙著了。姐姐看了，哈哈的笑了起來。我吹著吹著，把讓熱氣吹走了。我再次小心翼翼的將葉子掀開，吃起了自己親手做的香噴噴的粽子來——白白胖胖的糯米中間，包著一團(tuán)鮮汁可口的肉餡，放入口中，不油不膩，又有嚼勁，感覺太好了!
端午節(jié)就這么過去了，嘴里吃著自己親手包的粽子，心里想著我國唐代詩人杜甫寫的詩：宮衣亦有名，端午被恩榮。細(xì)葛含風(fēng)軟，香羅疊雪輕。自天題處濕，當(dāng)暑著來清。意內(nèi)稱長短，終身荷圣情。
