　　The first father's day was in June, 5th, 1910, United Stated. In 1909, a lady called Bruce Dodd put forward that people should establish father’s day. At that time, people only celebrated the mother's day, but nobody celebrate father's day yet. Lady Dodd had lost her mother when she was very young, her father raised her grew up. Lady Dodd was so thankful for what her father had done for her that she wrote a letter to the government. In the letter, she appeals to establish the father's day. The government accepted her suggestion and decided that the third Sunday of June is the national father’s day. In 1972, the president Nixon had passed the law and agreed that the father’s day is on June the third Sunday. From this year, the world started to celebrate father’s day.

　　第一個父親節(jié)始于1910年6月5日。在這一年，一位叫布魯斯.多德的女士提出人們應(yīng)該成立父親節(jié)。在那個時候，人們僅僅慶祝母親節(jié)，卻沒人慶祝父親節(jié)。而多德女士在很小的時候就失去了自己的母親，由自己父親親手帶大。她非常感謝自己父親所做的一切，于是，她給政府寫了一封信，提議成立父親節(jié)。政府同意了她的請求，并決定把每年的6月第三個星期天定為全國父親節(jié)。在1972年，總統(tǒng)尼克松通過了父親節(jié)的法律并同意把每年6月的第三個星期日定為父親節(jié)。從這一年開始，世界開始慶祝父親節(jié)。

　　On this special day, the children usually dedicate flowers to their fathers. The red roses to those who still alive, while the white ones to the fallings. Fathers always are considered being the central of the whole family. Without father in the family, home may feel insecure. The father always fights for the family and support the family. On this day, we can do something for our fathers. For instance, we can make a breakfast for them, or buy them a nice tie. We should spend more time with our father, show our love to them.

　　在這特別的一天，孩子們通常會給父親送花。紅玫瑰送給依然健在的父親，白玫瑰送給已逝的父親。父親一直被認為是家庭的頂梁柱。沒有父親在的家庭，就缺乏安全感。父親總是為了養(yǎng)家奮斗奔波。在這一天，我們可以為自己的父親做些什么。比如，為父親做一份早餐；為他們買條領(lǐng)帶。我們可以花更多的時間陪伴自己的父親，讓他知道我們愛他。

　　MY father!Father devotes all himself to our family. As we are poor， he always tries his best to support our family and afford the tuitions for my brother and me. For the whole family， for brother and me， he never stops working laboriously in the fields throughout the year. Now he has got a wrinkled face and white hair because of excessive hard work， looking much older and weaker than any other person of his age. In spite of all this， father never complains to us.

　　It is his full devotion that we're living a better life now. It is his full devotion that both my brother and I are able to study at college. Father shows much care to us children and my mother as well. Whenever there is any delicious food on the table， he just leaves it to us while he takes the simple one himself. If my brother and I fall ill， he will not hesitate a moment to get some medicine for us or take us to see the doctor. My mother suffers a bad disease.

　　Father looks after her very carefully. He never lets mother do any heavy work both at home and in the field. Mother appreciates him m much that she often praises him as a model husband before others. Father is a person full of optimism. He never complains about our poor life. He is never frustrated by trouble. He often tells us that everything will be all right if we have enough confidence in life. Due to his optimism， we are all confident to face our life and work.We all think that father is not in the least an ordinary man. He plays an extraordinary role in my family. We can't have anything without him.

　　Now I'm pursuing further studies at college far away from father. I miss him very much. And I often see him in my dreams. His great image is deeply carved in my mind. Dear father I'm so happy that I can be with you on that day! Do you remember that when I was 5 years old，I didn't want to go to school ，then you beat me .Naw my left hand is still ...
