　　March 12th is Tree Planting Day. This year our school bought enough trees before that day . On that day , we didn't had classes . The teachers and our classmates planted trees around our school.

　　We began to planted trees as soon as we got to school . Some students dug the holes . Some students put the trees into the holes.Some students put the earth back to the holes. Then we pushed the earth hard with our feet . At last we watered the trees as much as possible.

　　我們一到學(xué)校就開始種樹。有的學(xué)生挖坑，有的把樹放進(jìn)坑，有的學(xué)生把土產(chǎn)回坑里。然后我們用腳努力地把土踩結(jié)實。最后我們給樹澆盡可能多的水。

They think that a gate and walls are to be built if an entrance fee is to be charged. The city will not look so beautiful as it should have. Forty percent of my schoolmates are for the idea that an entrance fee is OK, but it shouldn’t be out of control. Entrance fee can be used to pay the gardeners and buy new types of flowers and trees. For myself, I’d like to say that if we all work hard to build our city into a flower garden, who cares about the entrance fee for parks?

　　目前我國高考競爭愈演愈烈。每年考生人數(shù)近300萬，而錄取率在40%以下，多數(shù)考生肯定要落選。這給考生、考生的家庭和學(xué)校，乃至整個社會，都造成了很大的壓力，引發(fā)了一些社會問題。此外，不同類型或特點的考生用同一模式和難度的試卷，有欠公允;三天的考試成績便決定一個人的未來命運，亦不夠合理。如何解決這些問題，改革現(xiàn)行的高考制度?我的意見是…。

　　Statistics show that no more than 40% of people who take the college entrance exams pass. Because a college education is regarded as the key to a successful career, this puts enormous pressure on the applicants. It also causes social problems, as those who fail consider that they have disgraced their families.

　　統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)表明,不超過40%的人通過參加高考。因為大學(xué)教育被認(rèn)為是事業(yè)成功的關(guān)鍵,這使得申請人有著巨大的壓力。它也會導(dǎo)致社會問題,因為那些沒考上的人會覺得自己讓家人蒙羞。

　　It seems to me that the exams are unfair, for three reasons: First, applicants with different abilities are faced with the same type of exam paper, Second, the results of a mere three days of examination affect the applicant’s whole future; and third, applicants who can afford private tutors usually score higher marks than those who are poorer, but perhaps more intelligent.

　　在我看來,考試是不公平的,原因有三:第一,具有不同能力的申請人卻做著同樣的試卷,第二,短短三天的考試結(jié)果卻影響申請人的整個未來;第三,可以負(fù)擔(dān)得起私人家教的申請人通常分?jǐn)?shù)會比那些貧窮的人更高,但也有可能是他們更聰明。

　　To improve the system of college entrance exams, I suggest the following steps: the exam papers should be graded to take into account the different levels of ability and the different backgrounds of the applicants; in addition to the actual exam, a complete assessment of the applicant’s educational achievements should be made; and tutoring in examination techniques should be made available to all.

　　為了提高大學(xué)入學(xué)考試制度,我建議以下步驟:制定考試卷子應(yīng)該考慮到不同能力和不同背景的申請者;此外，除了考試本身，應(yīng)該制定完整的申請人教育成果評估;有助于考試的技巧應(yīng)傳授給所有人。
