　　It is fine today. I made an appointment with my foreign friend Peter to visit the Great Wall on Badaling.

　　We set out early in the morning. We first took the subway and then the bus. On reaching the foot of the Great Wall, Peter was attracted by the landscape immediately."What a won der!" he said repeatedly and pulled me onto the cable car at once. We got a view of the beautiful scenery. After a while, we got to the Great Wall. Peter was very excited. He touched the bricks frequently. I explained to him when and how' we Chinese built the wall. He listened with great interest. When we entered a turret, Peter was more curious. I told him what the turret was and what it was built for. "It was really an amazing achievement!" Peter gasped with admiration and took several photos. Unconsciously, we found we had reached the Stele of Brave Man, the symbol of the Great Wall. A lot of visitors gathered around it and took photos. I translated the words on the stele for Peter. "Only the one who can reach the Great Wall is a brave man." "Really?" Peter asked jokingly. We both laughed.

　　It the time to go back. We were fascinated by the scenery and reluctant to leave. We really had a pleasant time.

　　Today,my father brought me to the the Great Wall at Badaling.I know that the Great Wall at Badaling is interlocking stretching and undulating on the far-flung land of our great motherland.It looks like a megalosaurus cross the lofty peaks,go through grassland,stride over big deserts and run to the sea.I also know that more than twenty countries had built the Great Wall including Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty and Ming dynasty.At present,there are still much ancient great wall and beacon towers existing in XinJiang,GanSu,Ningxia,Shanxi,BeiJing and so on.

　　What impresses me most in Beijing is the Great Wall which is one of the greatest projects in the world. It's not only the cultural heritage, but also a symbol of China. "It's glorious." I think. It looks like a big dragon running across the mountainous area. It starts Shanhaiguan in the east to Jiayuguan in the west. It's so long that nobody can walk from the beginning to the end.

　　It was firstly built in Qin Dynasty and prolonged in Ming and Qing dynasties. It was used to protect the enemies from invading in the past, but now it has become the place of interest which attracts so many tourists both at home and abroad.

　　它始建于秦朝，一直延期到明清時期。在過去它是用來防止敵人的入侵，但現(xiàn)在它已成為名勝古跡，吸引了很多國內(nèi)外游客。

　　When I was standing on the top of the Great Wall, I felt as if I were in ancient days. I could see many laborers working very hard. How could they finish this extremely difficult task by hand?

　　The Great Wall runs across North China like a huge dragon, It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. It's the longest wall on the earth, also one of the wonders in the world.

　　The Great Wall has a history of more than 20xx years. The first part was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. All the walls were joined up in Qin Dynasty.All tile work was done by hand. Thousands of people died while building the wall.Thus the Great Wall came into existence.

　　長城有20xx多年的歷史。它開始修建于春秋時期。秦朝時，所有的城墻聯(lián)結(jié)在一起。所有工作都是用手完成的，成千上萬的人在修建長城時死去。長城就是這樣出現(xiàn)的。

　　Since then, it has been rebuilt and repaired many times. Now the Great Wall,the admiration of the world, has taken on a new look. It's visited by large numbers of people from all parts of the country and the world.

　　目前為止，長城重修多次�，F(xiàn)在的長城面貌一新，迎接來角全國和全世界各地的游客。
