每年的4月22日是世界地球日，顧名思義地球日就是呼吁大家保護(hù)地球。但是大家摸著自己的良心想想有多少人做到了呢?
地球媽媽已經(jīng)45億歲了，早在50萬(wàn)年前便生下了人類，媽媽一直用那甘甜的乳汁撫養(yǎng)著我們，直到現(xiàn)在。媽媽的身上有青山，有綠樹(shù)，有海洋，也有草坪和森林。真是又美麗又偉大的母親啊!
大家都知道，地球上只有植物才能吸收二氧化碳，呼出氧氣�？茖W(xué)家曾經(jīng)實(shí)驗(yàn)并計(jì)算過(guò)3棵樹(shù)1天吸收的二氧化碳相當(dāng)于1個(gè)成年人1天呼出的二氧化碳。照這樣計(jì)算，植物對(duì)于人類實(shí)在是太重要了。所以，我們一定要好好保護(hù)植物。假如我是一棵小樹(shù)，我要向那些只知道蓋房子、建工廠、做家具的人們和那些亂砍亂伐的人們提出忠告：請(qǐng)不要再亂砍伐我們樹(shù)木了，也不要再亂踐踏我們的小草兄弟了。否則，我們的家族就會(huì)被砍光、伐光、踩死的。到那時(shí)，整個(gè)兒地球?qū)?huì)成為二氧化碳的世界，直接威脅到地球媽媽和她千千萬(wàn)萬(wàn)個(gè)子孫后代的生存!因此，我們必須下大力氣去制止這些公害和私害的發(fā)生。而且，我們還要大量植樹(shù)，凈化空氣，綠化我們的地球母親!
我們不僅要在世界地球日這天保護(hù)地球，而應(yīng)該把每天都當(dāng)作世界地球日來(lái)看待，時(shí)時(shí)刻刻保護(hù)我們的地球。
