　　In everyday life, we have a lot of things, such as used paper, old newspapers,used plastic bags, cans, bottles and so on. It is important to make good use of the waist things.

　　我們在日常生活中產(chǎn)生少許多廢物，比如像用過的紙張飛舊報紙、用過的塑料袋、罐頭筒、瓶子等等。所以充分利用廢品是十分重要的。

　　There are some ways to reuse the wastes. The used plastic bags can be used to contain our family rubbish. The empty tins can be made into ashtrays. We can also make the used bottles into different kinds of handiwork. That will make our rooms more beautiful.

　　有許多廢品再利用的方法。用過的塑料袋可以用來裝家里的垃圾;空罐頭盒可以制成煙灰缸。我們也可以將用過的瓶子制成各種各樣的手工藝品，把我們的房間裝扮得更美。

　　If we don't know how to reuse the wastes, we can sell them to the recycling station.

　　There are many other ways to reuse the wastes. If we try our best to recycle the wastes, there will be less waste and less pollution in our life.

　　As is often read in the newspaper reports, wild life especially the rare species is threatened with extinction. Human beings are making attempts to hunt wild animals for a big profit., which, of course, results in a sharp decrease in the number of animals. So it is high time for us to take quick action to protect them.

　　如經(jīng)常在報紙上報道，野生動物特別是珍稀物種滅絕的威脅。人類正在努力尋找野生動物的一個大的利潤。當(dāng)然，在一個動物的數(shù)量急劇減少的結(jié)果。因此，我們必須迅速采取行動來保護(hù)它們的時候。

　　First of all, it's quite necessary for every citizen to realize the importance of animal protection. Only by knowing its importance can people develop a sense of responsibility. People will surely take it for granted to have the duty to prevent any killing of wild animals. So a national publicity campaign should be launched, thus giving animals a good living environment. In addition, the government should pass some laws to forbid any hunting of rare animals. We don't expect anything harmful to wild life to happen again.

　　首先，每個公民都認(rèn)識到保護(hù)動物的重要性是非常必要的。唯一的人知道它的重要性可以培養(yǎng)責(zé)任感。人們一定會理所當(dāng)然地要阻止任何殺害野生動物的義務(wù)。所以一個國家應(yīng)該發(fā)起宣傳運動，從而給動物一個良好的生活環(huán)境。此外，政府應(yīng)通過一些法律禁止捕殺珍稀動物。我們不期望任何有害的野生生命再次發(fā)生。

　　People have different views on what children should do at a very early age. Some think that children should begin their formal education and start to spend most of their time on studies. Others believe that it is still time for young children to play. Both views are based on respective ground.

　　Those who argue for the playing time for children suggest that children at a very early age are still too young to focus their attention on learning. Their brain may not be ready for serious studies such as comprehension and memorizing learning materials. These people are partially right, for it is true that young children can hardly concentrate. Their attention on one thing lasts for no longer than 15 minutes or so. But we can arrange classes for shorter periods, can't we? And we can shift teaching subjects. Through putting them to study, young children are occupied with learning but not with playing.

　　Those who argue for children's early commencement for formal education believe that being put to studies, children can develop good habit of studying, for the process of learning helps develop children's mental abilities like the ability to memorize, the ability to understand and the ability to do simple calculation. Children's habit of studying and love for learning are of great importance to youngsters because these two things set up the sound foundation for their future studies.

　　Having children start formal education at a very early age benefits young children much more than simply letting them play most of their time. A good habit needs a long time to develop to become a second nature. More importantly, it is better to develop a good habit before a bad one may grow. Similarly, the love for learning should take toots for before the love for playing is established.
