【寫法指要】
1）這是女兒給母親寫的一封信。信的內(nèi)容是根據(jù)上述對(duì)話中Jane找Doctor看病的經(jīng)過(guò)寫的。所以，信文實(shí)際上是一篇過(guò)程說(shuō)明文（process analysis essay）。過(guò)程說(shuō)明文最顯著的特點(diǎn)就是用表示時(shí)間先后順序的銜接詞語(yǔ)連貫全文，如本文中的“at first”，“then”，“after that”，“at last”就是這樣的詞語(yǔ)。
2）把對(duì)話改寫成短文時(shí)，最重要的一點(diǎn)就是把直接引語(yǔ)變成間接引語(yǔ)。這時(shí)，就要注意正確使用如文中的“I told him (that)…”，“The doctor thought (that)…”，“…h(huán)e told me (that)…”，“He asked me to…”等具有轉(zhuǎn)述功能的句型。此外，還須注意人稱代詞、指示詞、時(shí)間或地點(diǎn)副詞的轉(zhuǎn)換和應(yīng)用。
