Tourism in China
Recent years have seen a tendency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban residents travel regularly, and 28% rural residents also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.
Facing this tendency, we can’t help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people’s living standard has been greatly improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What’s more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism, and regard it as a life style. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. For example, transportation develops fast, and many scenic spots are available now.

It was already late when we set out for the next town, fifteen miles away on the other side of the hills. It got dark soon; we drove fast along the narrow winding road that led to the hills. Wecouldn'tidentify any sign of the town marked on the map. Suddenly the car stopped. We had run out of petrol. Therefore, although we had little food with us, we decided to spend the night in the car.

Our meal finished very soon. I went to sleep at once. But my companion Bill who was a poor sleeper went for a walk up the hills. From the top of the hill he saw the lights of the town we were looking for. We unloaded all our luggage and pushed the car to the top of the hill at once. Then we went back to the luggage, loaded the car again and set off down the hill. We reached the town less than a quarter, and found a hotel quite easily.

黑壓壓的天依然壓不住全家想出去爬山的興致，我們不顧氣象預(yù)報上百分之五十的降雨機(jī)率，決定前往爬山。一路上，我們看見一朵朵烏云，凝成灰暗的色系，彷彿一張細(xì)密的網(wǎng)，織成一片密不透風(fēng)的天空。過了不久，天際開始降下水珠，如同插秧般滴落在步道上，起初綿綿細(xì)雨，隨后轉(zhuǎn)成滂沱大雨，眼前的景物一片迷濛，此刻四周彌漫的是酸鼻的氣味，如一根根針尖般刺進(jìn)鼻腔。
隨著時間的推移，大雨終于停歇，樹梢上再度灑落點(diǎn)點(diǎn)金黃，枝頭上陣陣鳥囀重新傳入雙耳，鼻腔里更是充滿了雨過天青的芬芳。這股如泉水般沁涼的清香，摻著森林里的芬多精，像微風(fēng)一樣拂過臉龐，拂過心頭。在這盤據(jù)著斗志高音的四月天里，我徜徉在大自然的懷抱，讓這水溶溶的小徑，及漠楞楞的曙色，驅(qū)離內(nèi)心的不快，化解腦中的煩憂。也許，習(xí)慣住在城市里的我們，正需要這一注清香，來滋潤對庸碌生活感到疲憊的心吧!唯有清香，得以忘憂，我豁然了解這座森林取名為忘憂森林的理由。
