As we all know, pollution is harmful to living beings. There are many different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition will be damaged.
In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution. Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the action of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are being cleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance of protecting the environment.
However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the environment needs everybody’s effort.
我們都知道，污染對生物有很大危害。在這個(gè)世界上，有許多不同類型的污染。例如：水污染，空氣污染，噪音污染等等。水污染會(huì)使人們生病，甚至死亡。臟空氣會(huì)使患肺癌的幾率上升。而噪音污染會(huì)讓人失眠。人們的健康水平會(huì)下降。
在我看來，人們應(yīng)該采取措施去保護(hù)環(huán)境。最近，不僅僅是政府部門，個(gè)人也參與到環(huán)保中去。這是個(gè)好現(xiàn)象。河流干凈了，空氣清新了，人們也意識到環(huán)保的重要性。
然而，這些還遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠。問題依舊存在。不是所有的問題都得到了解決。一些工廠依舊往河流里面排放污水，向天空排放有毒氣體。我們應(yīng)該謹(jǐn)記環(huán)境保護(hù)需要每個(gè)人的努力。

When we go out, we should firstly choose the public transportation. The most important is that we must realize that we can do a lot of things to protect our environment. Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street, the gas stations are short of gasoline, even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline, but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However, the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.
進(jìn)入新世界以來，環(huán)境污染比任何時(shí)候都要嚴(yán)峻。有各式各樣的污染：水污染，空氣污染，噪音污染等等�？雌饋砦覀兓钪粋�(gè)四周都是污染源的星球。那么，這些污染是從何而來的呢?在很大程度上，環(huán)境被破壞就是我們?yōu)榭焖俚慕?jīng)濟(jì)增長和人口增加所付出的慘烈代價(jià)。為了得到更多的能源，人們砍伐樹木，挖更多的煤礦，但是還是難以維持日益增長的需求。不計(jì)其數(shù)的私家車充斥著公路，加油站的汽油嚴(yán)重短缺，政府多次上調(diào)油價(jià)也未能阻止私家車對汽油的需求。自然資源的過度利用已經(jīng)影響到了生態(tài)平衡。然而，工廠依舊向外排放有毒氣體，把工業(yè)廢水倒入河里。人們依舊缺乏保護(hù)環(huán)境的意識。我認(rèn)為人們應(yīng)該做些事情了。
The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth could be a better place to live in.
