　　The traffic problem is one of the most serious problems in my hometown. Recently, more and more people have private car, but the roads are so narrow that we have to fight against the heavy traffic when we go out. Especially during the rush hours, cars and buses are unable to move. To make things worse, many people are killed in the traffic accidents. How miserable it is!

　　For the sake of our life and security, some measures must be taken to change the present situation. In the first place, as there are a great many cars, we should control the number of private cars and vehicles and use the public transportation more often. Secondly, the government should widen the roads and build more flyovers, so as to ease the traffic pressure and reduce the traffic accidents. In addition, the undergrounds and light rails should be constructed, so that we can have more choices when going out and do not have to worry about the traffic jams in the future.

　　I believe the traffic problem could be solved if we devote our actions to them.

　　在我的家鄉(xiāng)交通問題是最嚴重的問題之一。現(xiàn)在越來越多的人擁有私家車，但道路卻是如此的狹窄，所以我們出門的時候都必須和交通擁擠對抗。尤其是在繁忙時間段，汽車和公共汽車都動不了。更糟的是，許多人在交通事故中喪生。那是多么悲慘的啊!

　　為了我們的生命和安全起見，我們必須采取一些措施來改變現(xiàn)狀。首先，因為有很多車，所以我們應(yīng)該控制私家車的數(shù)量，更經(jīng)常使用公共交通工具。其次，政府應(yīng)該拓寬道路，建造更多的立交橋，以緩解交通壓力，減少交通事故的發(fā)生。此外，應(yīng)構(gòu)建地鐵和輕軌，這樣我們將來外出時可以有更多的選擇也不用不必擔(dān)心交通堵塞。

　　In modern society, the problem of heavy traffic has aroused a wide concern. Concerning with this problem, different people hold different opinions. As far as I am concerned, to solve this problem, we need to begin with the following steps.

　　First, limiting the number of private cars is a significant step to solve the problem of heavytraffic. Private car occupies a larger space and it is responsible for traffic jam to a large extent. Less private cars will accelerate the flow of traffic. Second, it is also a good means to open up the special roads for buses. By doing this, the phenomenon that the buses block the street when passengers get on or get off the buses will not occur again. At the same time, it will upgrade the efficiency of buses. Finally, reinforcing punish toward the over-speed cars and drunk driving so as to reduce the rate oftraffic accident, and then decrease traffic jam.

　　To put it in a nutshell, only we put the above advice into practice together can we solve the problem of heavy traffic.

　　首先，限制私家車的數(shù)量是解決交通擁擠問題的重要一步。私家車占據(jù)了較大的空間，在很大程度上它要對交通堵塞負責(zé)。私家車會加快運輸量。第二，為公共汽車建立特殊道路也是一個好方法。這樣的話，乘客從公共汽車上下車阻礙了馬路的現(xiàn)象不會再發(fā)生。同時，也會提升公交車的效率。最后，加強懲罰超速和酒后駕駛的汽車來降低交通事故的發(fā)生率，并減輕交通堵塞。

　　簡而言之，我們只有把以上建議一起付諸實踐我們才能解決交通擁擠的問題。

高一英語作文：How to Deal With Traffic Jam in Metropolis

　　Nowadays, traffic jam is a growing worry for the residents in most metropolises, contributing to irritation of drivers and pedestrians. How to cope with this problem? Almost all local government in China is irritated by this problem. From my point of view, it’s evident that we should pay more attention to this issue and any country or city which turns a blind eye to this issue will pay a heavy cost.

　　In order to deal with this conundrum in the essence, firstly, I am firmly convinced that regulations that ban the abuse of private car must be taken into action. Personally, each family ought to have less than 3 cars, the individual who doesn’t abide by the rules must be punished or charged more taxation.

　　Additionally, the infrastructure also serves as a linchpin. Without roads and streets of high quality, the city’s transportation system will easily paralyzed during rush hours. Therefore, government should fix time and energy on the construction of infrastructure with high quality.

　　What’s more important, since this conundrum will not solved in a short period of time, it’s necessary for all drivers and pedestrians to have a good attitude towards traffic jam when traffic piles up. Great methods such as listening to the music, can readily relieve the anger and anxiety of drivers and pedestrians.

　　With the cooperation of both government and individuals, we may finally get over this trouble with our perseverance, confidence and fortitude.

　　如今，大城市交通擁堵正成為大都市居民日益擔(dān)心的問題，也令司機和行人感到焦慮與憤怒。如何面對這一難題?這個問題正在讓幾乎中國各地政府焦急。在我看來，很明顯我們需要更多地關(guān)注這一問題，任何一個忽視這一問題的國家和城市都將付出慘重的代價。

　　為了從本質(zhì)上解決這一個問題，首先，我堅定地認為應(yīng)該出臺一個規(guī)定來限制私家車過度使用問題。我個人認為每個家庭最多擁有3輛汽車，任何一個不遵守這一規(guī)定的個人都將受到懲罰或是被征收更多的稅款。

　　另外，基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的建設(shè)也是一個關(guān)鍵。如果沒有高質(zhì)量的公路和街道，城市的交通系統(tǒng)就會在交通高峰期很容易癱瘓。所以，政府應(yīng)當(dāng)在建設(shè)高質(zhì)量基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施上下大工夫，花更多時間。

　　更重要的是，因為這一難題不會在短時間內(nèi)得以解決，有必要讓每一位司機或者行人在交通堵塞時保持一個良好的心態(tài)。一些好的方法諸如聽聽音樂，享受電臺廣播或者是和乘客聊天都易于緩解司機和行人的焦慮和憤怒。

　　有了政府和個人的合作，我們一定會憑借我們堅持不懈的毅力和信心戰(zhàn)勝這一問題。
