數(shù)菜籽
11月9日 晴
今天科學(xué)課，李老師走進(jìn)教室就問了我們兩個(gè)問題：
“你們猜一猜，每棵油菜上大約有多少個(gè)菜莢?每個(gè)菜莢里有多少顆菜籽?”
老師的話剛說完，大家就七嘴八舌地回答起來：“21個(gè)菜莢，20顆菜籽。”
“50個(gè)菜莢，16顆菜籽。”
“100多個(gè)菜莢，30幾顆菜籽。”……
李老師神秘地笑了笑，說：“我們還是到田里去解決這個(gè)問題吧!”
我們來到田邊，一看，二十多天前，這里還是一片金黃，現(xiàn)在每一棵油菜的枝條上結(jié)滿了一個(gè)個(gè)飽滿的菜莢了，看起來有點(diǎn)沉。仔細(xì)觀察菜莢，只見一顆顆種子脹滿了它的“外衣”，圓鼓鼓的凸了出來，頂端尖尖的;剝?nèi)?ldquo;外衣”——菜莢，里面的種子圓溜溜的，像一顆顆小珍珠晶瑩發(fā)亮，十分好看。
我和仇琦兩人一組合作數(shù)，我們兩個(gè)兩個(gè)地?cái)?shù)，很快就數(shù)完了三株油菜。當(dāng)我數(shù)到最后一棵的時(shí)候，大吃一驚，這株足足有400多個(gè)菜莢，它們密密麻麻地掛在莖上伸出的枝條上。我還從上面采來了一個(gè)菜莢，剝開數(shù)了數(shù)有27顆菜籽。
