the importance of trees
as we all know， trees are very useful. they are of great benefit to man as follows： first， trees provide us with wood and other products； second， their roots can allow the rain to sink in and keep the soil， so they help to prevent droughts and floods. trees can clean air and beautiful life.
unfortunately， nowadays in many parts of the world lots of people fail to realize the importance of trees. they have cut trees down in large numbers without a plan，which makes the soil washed away. they don't know where there no trees， the rain washed away the surface of the soil and this causes floods.
we ought to plant trees each year and carefully look after new trees in order not to make the forest slowly disappear. only' in this way can we make the forest serve man forever.
樹(shù)的重要性
眾所周知，樹(shù)有很多的用處，人類從中得到如下很多益處：第一，樹(shù)給我們提供了木材和其他一些產(chǎn)品。第二，它們的根能讓雨水滲進(jìn)并保持乒壤以免被水沖走，所以樹(shù)木可以預(yù)防旱災(zāi)和水災(zāi)。同時(shí)樹(shù)木還幫我們凈化空氣，美化生活。
不幸的是，今天世界上很多地方人們沒(méi)有意識(shí)到樹(shù)木的重要性。他們無(wú)計(jì)劃的大量砍伐樹(shù)木，這樣使得土壤被破壞，他們不知道那沒(méi)有樹(shù)的地方，一下雨就把土壤的表層沖走了，導(dǎo)致洪災(zāi)。
我們應(yīng)該多植樹(shù)，同時(shí)好好照顧小樹(shù)，不要讓森林一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)消失，只有這樣才能讓森林永遠(yuǎn)為人類服務(wù)。

with the development of economy, more and more greenhouse gases are being discharged into the air. co2 makes up about 70% of the greenhouse gases, which is considered to be one of the greatest causes of global warming. it has harmful effects, causing the sea level to rise and many natural disasters to strike.
so we must take effective measures to save our planet. first, we should use more clean energy and less coal and oil. second, we should go to work on foot or by bus instead of driving a car if possible. third, we should plant more trees, because plants can turn co2 into oxygen. more importantly, we should form the habit of saving energy in our daily life.
