Located 1 km to the west of Xiahe County, daxiahe river forms a basinbetween Longshan and Fengshan. The Tibetan people call it a cornucopia, andLabrang temple is located on the cornucopia. 位于夏河縣城西1公里處,大夏河將龍山、鳳山之間沖積成一塊盆地、藏族人民稱之為聚寶盆、拉卜楞寺就坐落在聚寶盆上。它與西藏的哲蚌寺、色拉寺、甘丹寺、扎什倫布寺、青海的塔爾寺合稱我國喇嘛教格魯派(黃教)六大寺院。拉卜楞為藏語“拉章”的轉(zhuǎn)音,意為佛宮所在的地方。
寺廟始建于清康熙四十八年(1720xx年),有18座金碧輝煌的佛殿,萬余間僧舍,崇樓廣宇,鱗次櫛比,金瓦紅墻,氣勢非凡。其中,以六大扎倉最為著名。扎倉,藏語意為學(xué)院。六大扎倉即六大佛學(xué)院:修顯宗的聞思學(xué)院,修密宗的續(xù)部上學(xué)院、續(xù)部下學(xué)院,修天文的時輪學(xué)院,修醫(yī)藥的醫(yī)藥學(xué)院和修法律的喜金剛學(xué)院。其中,聞思學(xué)院為全寺中心,有前殿、正殿、后殿三大部分。前殿供藏王松贊干布像;正殿懸“慧覺寺”匾額,為清乾隆帝敕賜。正殿11開間,寬l00米,深75米,有柱140,大可合抱,可容4000喇嘛同時念經(jīng)。殿內(nèi)掛著各色彩幡,燃酥油燈百余盞,香煙繚繞,一派佛國氣象。寺中還有兩座講經(jīng)壇以及藏經(jīng)樓、印經(jīng)院,珍藏文物數(shù)萬件,藏文經(jīng)典6萬余冊。
拉卜楞寺還有“拉康”18處。“拉康”(佛寺)即全寺各扎倉的喇嘛集體念經(jīng)的聚會之所。其中以壽禧寺規(guī)模最大,有6層,高20余米,殿內(nèi)供高約15米的釋迦牟尼佛像。屋頂金龍蟠繞,墻旁銀獅雄踞,外觀十分宏偉。人稱拉卜楞寺是藏傳佛教的高等學(xué)府,是當(dāng)之無愧的。

隴東,為華夏文明的發(fā)祥地之一,周先祖曾在董志塬一帶開創(chuàng)了華夏農(nóng)耕文化的先河。北石窟寺位于董志塬的西側(cè),東北距慶陽地區(qū)行署所在地西峰市25公里。這里古屬雍州,秦屬北地郡,西漢至?xí)x代為安定郡,北魏時歸涇州,唐代為寧州,五代、宋時屬原州彭陽縣,元代為鎮(zhèn)原州,明清屬鎮(zhèn)原縣。其地東抵陜西榆林,西通黑水,南接涇渭,北達(dá)賀蘭,自古以來,就是中原地區(qū)北達(dá)寧夏、內(nèi)蒙、西抵河西的軍事重鎮(zhèn)和交通要沖。北魏以來,隨著佛教的興盛和開窟造像的風(fēng)靡,這里又成了蕭關(guān)古道上的一大佛教勝地。據(jù)史料記載,北魏永平二年(公元520xx年)“涇州沙門劉慧汪聚眾反,詔華州刺史奚康生討之。”“康生久為,及臨州尹,多所殺戮,而乃信向佛道,數(shù)舍其居宅以立寺塔,凡歷四州皆有建置。”奚康生在涇州平定了沙門劉慧汪叛亂后,為了安定民心,鞏固北魏王朝的統(tǒng)治政權(quán),于宣武帝永平二年,大耗民財,“命匠呈奇,競工開剖,積節(jié)移年,營構(gòu)乃就”創(chuàng)建了北石窟寺和涇川的南石窟寺。無論奚康生當(dāng)初開窟建寺的動機(jī)如何,足見當(dāng)時佛事活動之興盛,而隴東的勞動人民竟用自己勤勞的雙手和聰明的才智,在粗獷的黃土高坡上為后世留下了一份極為精美的藝術(shù)瑰寶。
北石窟寺自北魏開窟建寺后,歷經(jīng)西魏,北周、隋、唐、宋、清各代不斷增修擴(kuò)建,形成了這樣一處規(guī)模宏大的石窟群。宋、清碑文記載,古代寺院、殿宇軒昂、龕像儼然,丹素炫彩、金玉垂輝、佛光普照、僧眾云集、閣樓峻麗、蔚為壯觀。歲月悠悠,斗轉(zhuǎn)星移、清末兵燹。戰(zhàn)亂烽起、寺院建筑,付之一炬。僧眾遭戮,佛事廢棄。新中國成立,1959年甘肅文物工作隊在隴東進(jìn)行文物普查,重新發(fā)現(xiàn)了北石窟寺,1963年成立文管所,對這一佛教文化古跡開始清理保護(hù)。寺院現(xiàn)有大小窟龕296個,石雕造像2126尊,碑碣7通,各代游人題記150余方。其窟龕分布密集,形如蜂房,內(nèi)容豐富,形式多樣?咴耗媳遍L125米,寬40米,面積為5000平方米?啐惙植嫉膸r石斷面南北長120米、高20米,大小相間,可分三層雕鑿,造像均為高浮雕和圓雕,形象逼真,風(fēng)格各異,F(xiàn)為全國重點文物保護(hù)單位。也是隴東著名的旅游勝地。
165號窟是北石窟寺最大的一個具有代表性的洞窟,位于窟區(qū)正中,是北魏永平二年奚康生主持開鑿的“七佛窟”。窟門兩側(cè)高浮雕兩尊守門天王,其事高5.8米,身著鎧甲,足蹬戰(zhàn)靴,怒目鎖眉,神情威嚴(yán),大有震懾一切邪魔的氣魄。身旁橫臥兩尊雄獅,雖年久殘損,然張口舞爪,威態(tài)猶存。
該窟好象一座高大的殿堂,空間宏大,氣勢磅礴。覆斗式頂,距地面高14米,南北寬21.7米,進(jìn)深15.7米,平面為長方形,面積340多平方米?邇(nèi)東(正壁)、北、南三壁雕七尊立佛,佛高8米,磨光高肉髻,面相方圓,細(xì)眉大眼,鼻大唇厚,體魄雄建,褒衣博帶袈裟,施無畏手印。儼然一派華夏民族偉人的形象。關(guān)于七佛圖和七佛造像題材,全國早期開鑿的其他石窟出有實例,然而完整意義上的七佛窟和七佛造像,唯北石窟寺最早最宏偉最有代表性,為以后七佛窟的興建開創(chuàng)了先例!段簳·釋老志》簡述佛教經(jīng)義時,曾說:“釋迦前有六佛,釋迦繼六佛而成道,處今賢劫。文言將來有彌勒佛,方繼釋迦而降世。”《增一阿含經(jīng)》卷四云:“七佛天中天,照明于世間。”這些記載,說明七佛在佛教中的重要地位。佛經(jīng)中的七佛,不但能“宣說法教”,“照明于世間”,而且可“解除”一切眾生的生死病痛之苦。北魏王朝編造七佛的種種“功德”,對七佛和彌勒的宣揚是在于極力溝通人神之間的界限。北魏從太祖拓跋硅到宣武帝元屬正好七位皇帝,奚康生稟“皇帝即當(dāng)今如來”之義旨,為北魏七個正式皇帝大造七佛,一則歌頌佛教歷史,加強(qiáng)佛教正統(tǒng)思想的傳播。二則討好朝廷,歌頌皇帝功德,安撫民眾,鞏固北魏統(tǒng)治政權(quán)。因而供俸七佛在當(dāng)時隴東地區(qū)十分盛行。七佛造像成為北石窟寺的一大特色,從北魏一直延續(xù)到晚唐,題材形象十分突出。這說明北石窟寺在隴東古代是一處非常正統(tǒng)的佛教圣地。而當(dāng)年生活在水深火熱中的隴東勞動人民用自己的雙手,不惜血汗來雕鑿如此宏偉、眾多的七佛像,也寄托了他們對美好生活的種種愿望。

郎木寺是甘南藏族自治州碌曲縣下轄的一個小鎮(zhèn)。一條小溪從鎮(zhèn)中流過,小溪雖然寬不足2米,卻有一個很氣派的名字“白龍江”,如按藏文意譯作“白水河”。小溪的北岸是郎木寺,南郎木寺圖片岸屬于四川若爾蓋縣,屬于甘肅的“安多達(dá)倉郎木寺”和屬于四川的“格爾底寺”就在這里隔“江”相望。一條小溪分界又聯(lián)結(jié)了兩個省份,融合了藏、回兩個和平共處的民族;喇嘛寺院、清真寺各據(jù)一方地存在著;曬大佛,做禮拜,小溪兩邊的人們各自用不同的方式傳達(dá)著對信仰的執(zhí)著。
