　　Ladies and gentlemen,

　　we engineering students take it for granted that technology is changing incredibly fast. we are thinking nervously and seriously whether our colleges are failing to provide a foundation in the skills currently needed in industry. take my major telecommunications for example. scientists say that 21st century is a biomedical time, not an electrical time. but without the help of electronic data processing and transformation, biomedical technology alone cannot go too far. funny enough, the word biomedical itself is just a combination of two disciplines. so the interdisciplinary exploitation serves as the critical part for our electric and electronics world as well as any other fields to find new way of being.

　　But the power of knowledge collaboration is certainly not restricted to science and engineering; it is in the full community of learning. walking around campus i absorbed a reality that there is a seamless web between students from different professional backgrounds. the engineering students are discussing animatedly in a philosophy lecture, speaking passionately in the public speaking club, and looking for sparkling ideas from learning history and arts. how wonderful that is! that, ladies and gentleman, is just a significant step forward to be well-rounded because once we jump out of the circle we can see the bigger picture.

　　My friends, i hope that you have already got what university is all about. please let me end my speech with the nobel prize winner li zhengdao’s words: “the realization of the perfect combination of science and engineering, science and arts, technology and humanity， is the greatest symbol of a university’s success.” thank you.

　　知識的.融合和人才的全面發(fā)展

　　我們理工科的學(xué)生都知道科技在以一種難以置信的速度變化發(fā)展著。我們都在緊張和嚴(yán)肅地思考著是否我們的大學(xué)能夠為我們提供一個適應(yīng)當(dāng)前工業(yè)需要的知識基礎(chǔ)。以我的專業(yè)通信工程為例，科學(xué)家們說21世紀(jì)是生物醫(yī)學(xué)的世紀(jì)，而不是電氣電子的世紀(jì)。但是如果沒有電子化的數(shù)據(jù)處理和轉(zhuǎn)換，生物醫(yī)學(xué)時代就不能發(fā)展。有趣的是：“生物醫(yī)學(xué)”這個詞本身就是兩個學(xué)科的結(jié)合，所以跨學(xué)科的開發(fā)手段就成了電氣電子領(lǐng)域以及其他任何領(lǐng)域?qū)ふ倚鲁雎返年P(guān)鍵。

　　但是知識的結(jié)合不僅僅局限在科學(xué)和工程中，而是在任何的學(xué)習(xí)中。徜徉在校園里，我看到了這樣一個事實：理工科學(xué)生們在哲學(xué)講座上討論得熱火朝天，在演講俱樂部里地演說，在歷史和藝術(shù)里尋找著閃光的思想。太棒了!朋友們，這就是我們能夠全面發(fā)展的重要一步，因為當(dāng)我們跳出自己的圈子時，我們能看到更大的圖畫。

　　朋友們，我希望你們已經(jīng)意識到了大學(xué)教育究竟意味著什么。讓我以諾貝爾獎獲得者李政道先生的話結(jié)束我的演講：“科學(xué)與工程，科學(xué)與藝術(shù)，科技與人道的完美結(jié)合，乃是大學(xué)教育的最大成功�！�

　　Recently,six killing accident happen in elementary school,which have a bad influences on our social safety.These influences can be described as follow.

　　Initially,the elementary school killing accident cause the students'panic,worrying about their own safety.What’s more,it also cause the parents’and teathers’ worry,and parents and teachers must pay more attention to their children’s and student’s safety.Last but not least,due to this,many other people hold panic for their own safety.

　　From what we have discussed ,we know the serious consequence of killing accident in elementary school.So facing this accident,relative department should take effective measures to reduce the killing accident in elementary school,reducing the social panic,assurencing the social safety.

　　this is for my people who just lost somebody, your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady. lift your head to the sky, we will never say bye.

　　these are words of the song bye-bye. every time when i hear it, i’ll always lose myself in grief recalling the tough time we came through in 20xx.

　　the snow storm, the tibet issue, the obstruction to the olympic torch relay，the earthquake……time dates back to the day the horrible earth quake occurred in sichuan, tens of thousands of people lost life and families. i’ll never forget those days i sat front of the tv, moved by people never gave up under ruins even there’s little hope to survive. i’ll never forget those days most newspapers and websites were all in black and white. i’ll never forget those days i had my black coat on, writing down my best wishes to the suffering people.

　　at the same time, i also remember those days my friends abroad told me that they joined in the protest against western world’s bias on china and the fight against the tibetan separatists. i can still remember the day when i went to see the torch relay at hangzhou with heart shaped stickers on cheek. i wore the t-shirt with words light the passion, light the dream . when the torch passed by, we cheered go china, go beijing, sang the national anthem again and again, waving flags, dancing, hugging, clapping.

　　it was the opening ceremony of 20xx beijing olympic games which shocked the whole world and told the entire human yes, we can.

　　yes, we can, because we are united and brave

　　yes, we can because we have trust and love

　　yes, we can because we are the member of the great nation china
