　　尊敬的各位領導，各位老師：

　　作為一名年輕的小學教師，深感教育的崇高，教師的偉大。通過今天下午是“接地氣”的一次“走心”的學習，我對教師的.愛與責任有了更深刻的認識和體會。

　　首先要做到熱愛學生。日常的教育教學工作中，難免有個別學生出現(xiàn)違反紀律、不按時完成作業(yè)、缺課、與同學鬧不和等現(xiàn)象。面對這些要有寬容之心。每個人都是一輪月亮，總有自己陰晴圓缺的時候。既然從來都沒有所謂的“完美”，我們就應該容忍孩子們的差異和欠缺。過激的語言或者行動只能導致兩敗俱傷，而這種傷害往往是終身難忘的。

　　其次，對工作要有強烈的責任心。對我們教師來說，一屆學生未教好，還會有下一屆，還可以重頭再來;而對于孩子而言，卻沒有重頭再來的機會。一個學生對于我們來說可能是百分之一，可對于他和他的家庭來說他就是百分之百。

　　最后，教師要做到身正為范，塑造人格魅力。教書育人以自己的模范的品行來教育和影響學生。教師的人格魅力是學生成長的重要保證，教師的人格之光對學生的燭照深刻且久遠。

　　總之，通過這次的學習，我在思想上有了更多的認識，更大的進步，同時也更加堅定了我對教育事業(yè)的信心，我將更加嚴格的要求自己，在與學生的相處中，做到不諷刺、挖苦學生，而是耐心的指導教育，做到愛校如家，愛生如子，任勞任怨，不計較個人得失，珍惜鍛煉自己的機會，認真從事教育教學工作，積極學習不斷進步，促進學生全面快樂的發(fā)展。

　　Last year when I was here, I was speaking to you about a swim which I did across the North Pole.去年，當我站在這里的時候，我在談論我橫跨 北極的游泳。

　　And while that swim took place three years ago, I can remember it as if it was yesterday.那還是發(fā)生在3年前， 對我則好像是昨天一般。

　　I remember standing on the edge of the ice, about to dive into the water, and thinking to myself, I have never ever seen any place on this earth which is just so frightening.我還記得我站在冰層的邊緣， 就要扎進水里， 然后我自己想到，我再也再也 不要看到地球上的這個地方，這里是如此的讓人恐懼。

　　The water is completely black.The water is minus 1.7 degrees centigrade, or 29 degrees Fahrenheit.It's flipping freezing in that water.

　　And then a thought came across my mind: if things go pear-shaped on this swim, how long will it take for my frozen body to sink the four and a half kilometers to the bottom of the ocean?然后一個念頭在我腦中劃過： 如果這場泳出了點問題， 我這冰凍的身體要花多長時間 才能沉到這4500米的底部呢?

　　listening to everything from beautiful opera all the way across to Puff Daddy, and then committing myself a hundred percent -- there is nothing more powerful than the made-up mind --and then walking up to the edge of the ice and just diving into the water.

　　And I remember getting out of the water and my hands feeling so painful and looking down at my fingers, and my fingers were literally the size of sausages because -- you know, we're made partially of water -- when water freezes it expands, and so the cells in my fingers had frozen and expandedand burst.

　　I heard about this lake, Lake Imja.我聽說了這個湖泊，映佳湖。

　　And with a population increasing as quickly as it is, and with the water supply from these glaciers -- because of climate change --decreasing so much, I think we have a real risk of instability.而世界人口照這個速度發(fā)展下去， 而冰川水源的提供 -- 由于氣候的變化 --下降的如此之快， 我像我們就有了一個十分不穩(wěn)定的威脅。

　　Now, I don't know if any of you have had the opportunity to go to Mt. Everest, but it's quite an ordeal getting up there.我不知道，你們是否有機會去珠峰， 但是要去那的話，是一個考驗。

　　Thank you for coming to this election campaign today. With the trust and complete support of my team, I am delighted to announce that I am running for chairman of the Student Union.

　　As a diligent man with pleasant personality, I have been always considered to be a good team member. Meanwhile, as a big fan of sports I fully realize the importance of teamwork and advocate the spirit of being quicker and stronger. I possess strong determination to take firm steps toward achieving the objectives of my team. In addition, my working experience with the Student union in the past two years will be extremely helpful to my future work here if I get elected.

　　A sign of a really strong organization is that it can change its leadership without hindering its proGREss and without damaging its values. If I am elected, I believe I have the capability to lead the union to advance in the right direction. I will cooperate well with my fellow members of the union and take innovative measures, including establishing a student-information center, forming a teacher-student-friendship association, to make the union a true assistance to students study and life here as well as a bridge of communication between teachers and students.
