歷史翻到了1860年10月 6日，英法聯(lián)軍侵入圓明園，他們把園內(nèi)的各種奇珍異寶通通拿走，實在拿不走的，就任意破壞，毀掉，大火燒了三天三夜，硝煙彌漫了整個北京城。中國人都握緊了拳頭，可是他們卻無力反抗，只好眼睜睜地看著圓明園被英法聯(lián)軍燒為灰燼。1931年9月18日,日本侵略者打開中國的大門時，見一個就殺一個,一時間, 松花江血流成河,到處都是尸體,慘不忍睹.那時我們的中國是多么脆弱啊，神州大地經(jīng)常遭受外敵的侮辱，中國人民處于水深火熱之中.

展開中國地圖，迎面960萬平方公里土地映入眼簾——北京的故宮，頤和園。湖南的鳳凰古城、芙蓉鎮(zhèn)。張家界的武陵源、天子山。海南的西島，天涯海角。江西的九華山、廬山……可是做讓我為之驕傲的還是祖國首都的風(fēng)景名勝——圓明園。圓明園在北京西北郊，是一座舉世聞名的皇家園林。它由圓明園、萬春園和長春園組成，所以也叫圓明三園。此外，還有許多小園，分布在圓明園東、西、南三面，眾星拱月般地環(huán)繞在圓明園周圍。
圓明園中，有金碧輝煌的殿堂，也有玲瓏剔透的亭臺樓閣;有象征著熱鬧街市的"買賣街"，也有象征著田園風(fēng)光的山鄉(xiāng)村野。堪稱"世界上的博物館"�？墒�，如此美麗的園林卻在1860年被毀滅了。1860年10月6日，英、法聯(lián)軍侵入北京，闖進(jìn)圓明園。他們把園內(nèi)凡是能拿走的東西，統(tǒng)統(tǒng)掠走，拿不動的，就用大車或牲口搬運。實在運不走的，就任意破壞、毀掉。為了銷毀罪證，10月18日和19日，三千多名侵略軍奉命在園內(nèi)放火。大火連燒三天，煙云籠罩整個北京城。我國這一園林藝術(shù)的瑰寶、建筑藝術(shù)的精華，就這樣被化為灰燼。
