In the State of Zheng. There was a man who wanted to go into town to buy apair of new shoes.
鄭國，有個(gè)人想去城里買一雙新鞋子。
Before leaving home, he measured his foot with a piece of straw for size.After he arrived at the town and entered a shoe shop, he put his hand into hispocket only to find that in his haste he had left the measurement at home.Thereupon, he turned round and started for home. But when he rushed back to theshoeshop with the measurement, the shop had closed. As a result, he had suanwenwbusied himself for nothing.
他離家前先用一根稻草量了自己的腳，把他當(dāng)作尺碼。他到了城里，走進(jìn)鞋店，伸手摸口袋，從發(fā)現(xiàn)因?yàn)榧敝s路，把尺碼忘在家里了。于是，他轉(zhuǎn)身就往家里跑�？墒堑人弥叽a趕回鞋店的時(shí)候，店已經(jīng)關(guān)門了。結(jié)果，他白忙了一陣子，還是沒有買到鞋子。
Later, someone asked him:” Were you buying shoes for yourself or forothers? ”
后來，有人問他：“你是給自己買鞋，還是給別人買鞋?”
He answered:” For myself.”
他回答說：“是給我自己。
Someone else asked him:” Don’t you have your feet on yourself? You needonly to Try on shoes with your feet to get the right size. Why did you go backhome to fetch the measurement? “
別人又問他：“腳不是長在你自己身上嗎?英語小短文只要用你的腳去試試鞋子的大小，不就可以了嗎?為什么還要回家去拿尺碼呢?“
The man of Zheng insisted:” I would rather trust the measurement than myown feet.”

the holes of the ozone layer make the earth less suitable to live for somecreatures including human beings.Facing all the disasters made by ourselves,wehave the responsibility to deal with the problem.
we must do something useful to protect our environment.We can plant treesand take good care of them.We can save the water and ask our parents to do so.Wecan't throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them forrecycling.If we take good care of our earth today,it will be more beautifultomorrow.
我們只有一個(gè)地球.但是現(xiàn)在,環(huán)境變得越來越糟.如你所知,也沒有足夠的清潔飲水的人.所以許多人失去了他們的生命,因?yàn)樗?在很多國家,人們不得不砍樹的生活.所以沒有什么能阻止水的流失.我們還污染了土地,河流和空氣.有些人可能會說：我們是自然的主人.現(xiàn)在的“主人”似乎面臨的問題遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超出他的控制。

我們必須做些什么來保護(hù)環(huán)境.我們可以種樹,好好照顧他們.我們可以節(jié)約用水,并要求我們的父母這樣做.我們不能把垃圾丟在地上,我們應(yīng)該收集回收.如果我們好好照顧我們的地球上,這將是更加美好的明天。

我相信從家中溫室出來的花朵，有的不是嬌弱與笨拙，而是聰慧與堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。就算一個(gè)人，也不會孤單。這也許是很多人的寫照。第一次離開故土，第一次離開家，第一次離開爸爸媽媽，生活徹底的改變，取而代之的是陌生的面孔，但是下一刻，我們會感到熟悉，再?zèng)]有多久，這里便會成為我們的另一個(gè)家。
初入嘉院，印象最為深刻的便是，一面校訓(xùn)石刻，刻著“方正為人勤慎治學(xué)”八字。這是嘉興學(xué)院首任名譽(yù)院長、世界數(shù)學(xué)大師陳省身先生揮筆書寫的，也是其一生追求的做人做事做學(xué)問之標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。“方正為人，勤慎治學(xué)”對于老師們來說是師德之要，是學(xué)者之魂。“方正為人，勤慎治學(xué)”對于我們學(xué)生來說是成功之道，是成才之本。如此幸運(yùn)，能來到嘉院學(xué)習(xí)生活。
初入校園的我們或許會很興奮，可這種興奮勁兒沒持續(xù)幾天，就會被接踵而來的茫然無措所代替，面對五彩斑斕的大學(xué)生活，我們不知道應(yīng)該做些什么，生活中有許多事情需要我們“自行解決” 。諸多的彷徨與無助，在多少個(gè)黑夜里化為一行行熱淚。慶幸的是，在嘉院這個(gè)大家庭里，每一個(gè)人都充滿了熱情與耐心。我能深刻感受到人們對我的善意與幫助。美麗的校園里處處都是可愛無比的人們。于是發(fā)現(xiàn)自己越來越熱愛這樣的校園，美妙的大學(xué)生活。似乎空氣也變得越來越甜美清香。
有一種對大學(xué)生活最經(jīng)典最有意思的說法就是：魯迅先生的四部書：大一是《彷徨》，大二是《吶喊》，大三是《傷逝》，而大四則是《朝花夕拾》。別在彷徨時(shí)迷失自我，別在焦頭爛額時(shí)忘記吃飯，別在感慨時(shí)間飛逝時(shí)碌碌無為，別在回憶起來時(shí)充滿遺憾。愛在嘉院，愛在你我!
