　　I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talkingabout the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life.We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides,because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may runinto each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

　　我很榮幸能有機會在這里做演講，和大家談?wù)勥@給我們健康和生活帶來不好影響的灰霾天氣。我們呼吸這被污染過的空氣，讓我們遭受肺、肝疾病。另外，由于這天氣，航班被迫取消。各種交通工具相撞在一起，造成很大的毀滅和傷害。

　　As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. Asindividuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reducecarbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out therelated law on pollution.

　　我覺得是時候我們該做些什么了。我們應(yīng)該乘坐地鐵或公共汽車而不是汽車來減少二氧化碳。政府應(yīng)該實施更多針對污染的相關(guān)法律的。

　　Caring For Nature--Overpopulation What is nature? It's everything thatexists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earthand rocks, and the weather. Now more and more people are focusing on the nature.It is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. No nature, nolife. Because of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a longtime. And we started to gain every thing available from the nature. And thislasted so long a time. Today, people have discovered that the nature around isgetting worse and worse. What is threatening the nature? Air and waterpollution, overharvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so on.Overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation asan example.

　　What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city ina tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high andwhen the air is thick with dust and smoke. The streets are crowded with people.The streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. Peopletalking. People sleeping. People visiting each other, arguing and screaming.People relieving themselves. People pushing their hands through the taxiwindows, begging. People leading animals. People, people, people, people. As wedrive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxi's horn, the dust, heat, noiseand cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! I admit, frightening. To thenature, overpopulation is a big problem. More people, more pollution. And thebig population is threatening the nature every second.

　　尊敬的各位家長好!

　　我是初二(3)班的英語老師，首先歡迎各位家長的到來。借此機會，我想應(yīng)該給各位家長談一下孩子們在這一個學(xué)期學(xué)習(xí)英語的情況。

　　開學(xué)初，本班學(xué)生在英語學(xué)習(xí)中缺乏積極性，自覺性差，凡事都要不停地反復(fù)的督促。布置的任務(wù)不能及時的完成。而初二的英語教材相較三、四年級，又有所變化，起初孩子們沒有找好學(xué)習(xí)的切入點，所以我們在座有些家長就反映孩子的英語成績較之前有所下降。一學(xué)期下來了，在強化課堂教學(xué)，抓好課堂效益上，我結(jié)合教材和學(xué)生的多方面情況，做了以下一些工作：1、初二英語在聽、說、讀、寫方面的要求更加重要，我們盡量在課堂上幫助學(xué)生掌握知識，開展活動，讓他們在不知不覺中張口說英語。比如我們班莊園，王輝，錢勇，曹旭成，王聲康，許雅文等同學(xué)，每節(jié)課的知識和作業(yè)都能當(dāng)堂掌握和完成。2、興趣是最好的老師。英語課中多是一些情景對話，我們常常設(shè)置一個情境，讓學(xué)生進入其中，以表演的形式學(xué)習(xí)新知，樂在其中。如李杰，葛宇，逗號，潘建如，李浪，張朋順，周揚名，吳家佩，花尉揩，沈培歡等同學(xué)，經(jīng)常表演和惟妙惟肖，讓人忍俊不禁的同時，其他同學(xué)也加深了對課文的理解。3、孩子們都是要強的，我們舉行各式各樣的比賽，讓他們自發(fā)地要求進步。最近我們開展一對一的擂臺賽。孩子們學(xué)習(xí)的積極性高漲。如張峰瑋與莊園同學(xué)之間，楊冬煦和潘康同學(xué)之間，你追我趕，共同進步。 我們也進行了一些簡單的測試，有很多同學(xué)較開學(xué)初都有很大的進步。尤其是張影，張自豪，劉俊杰，李杰，鮑勝凡，潘國光，呂文豪等同學(xué)。我們班同學(xué)，優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生不僅成績好，在英語表達能力上也有提高，學(xué)習(xí)有困難的學(xué)生也不氣餒，一直在努力地向前沖。學(xué)習(xí)英語是為了以后能與人用英語交流，平時有積累，最后就能收獲成功。讓我們一起為孩子們營造一個開心快樂的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍，真正讓孩子們相對學(xué)的輕松，扎實，有效。
