　　Caring For Nature--Overpopulation What is nature? It's everything thatexists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earthand rocks, and the weather. Now more and more people are focusing on the nature.It is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. No nature, nolife. Because of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a longtime. And we started to gain every thing available from the nature. And thislasted so long a time. Today, people have discovered that the nature around isgetting worse and worse. What is threatening the nature? Air and waterpollution, overharvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so on.Overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation asan example.

　　What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city ina tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high andwhen the air is thick with dust and smoke. The streets are crowded with people.The streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. Peopletalking. People sleeping. People visiting each other, arguing and screaming.People relieving themselves. People pushing their hands through the taxiwindows, begging. People leading animals. People, people, people, people. As wedrive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxi's horn, the dust, heat, noiseand cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! I admit, frightening. To thenature, overpopulation is a big problem. More people, more pollution. And thebig population is threatening the nature every second.

　　I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talkingabout the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life.We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides,because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may runinto each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

　　我很榮幸能有機(jī)會在這里做演講，和大家談?wù)勥@給我們健康和生活帶來不好影響的灰霾天氣。我們呼吸這被污染過的空氣，讓我們遭受肺、肝疾病。另外，由于這天氣，航班被迫取消。各種交通工具相撞在一起，造成很大的毀滅和傷害。

　　As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. Asindividuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reducecarbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out therelated law on pollution.

　　我覺得是時候我們該做些什么了。我們應(yīng)該乘坐地鐵或公共汽車而不是汽車來減少二氧化碳。政府應(yīng)該實施更多針對污染的相關(guān)法律的。

　　What is future?Every time I look at the stars in the sky，I ask myself.It's realy a hard question to answer it.The universe is boundless，we don't know where are we from and where shall we go.I stand there，at sea.

　　Last Sunday，there was a rain of meteors.I went to the belcony towait for their coming.Above my shoulder，it was the wind.Above the wind，it was the sky，huge and blue，with sparkling stars.Suddenly，a shooting star appeared.I hurried to pray for her happiness，staring at it.I wanted to pray for more，but it had already died out.I realised ，future is not carved on the meteors，but it's now，around us.

　　When a fortune-teller look at your palm，she'll tell you how your future will be like.That's a way you place your hope on.But it's not realistic.The future is the things and people around you.What you should do is to try to do everything well，don't care much about the results.Be kind to all the people around you，and love them.Although the world is not full of love，the life is not a bed of rose，you should sdick on your belief.When time passes，you'll find everything you do is worthwhile.

　　Years is glorious.Because no way you can stop time from elasping.How time flies!Just like the flowers in spring，the sunshine in summer，the moon in mid-autumn and the snow in winter.Maybe one morning you'll never wake up，you'll never see the sunrise or the sunset;you'll never see your sweatheart or talk to her，you'll never hear the sound of the nature or wander on the path among the trees，you'll never swim in the lake or climb the mountains.

　　Time is gold.Every minute is precious.We should make best use of it.Don't waste even one minute.Spend time in working，in laughing，in playing games and in loving.

　　Each of us has a kite flying in the sky，and we also have a string each.

　　Children's kite is childhood，the string is grown.

　　Lovers' kite is love，the string is daily life.

　　I have a kite，it is called dream，the string in my hands is reality.

　　The wind which makes kites fly is future.Kites are not free，but we still have power to control them and let them fly higher and higher.The string is in my hands，future is now in my hands.

　　Future is now，forget the fortune-teller，clench your fists!
