School are students second home.Every student loves their school.I like my school very much.My school is very beautiful.My school is very great.It is the best school.My school taught many excellent students.
Its one of the best primary schools in my city. There are more than 1,500 students in our school. There are three tall buildings in our school. They all have five floors.Two of them are teaching buildings. The other is library and gym. The teaching buildings are huge and the classroom is large and bright. There are plenty of books in the library.The library is on the second floor. The science rooms are on the third floor. The computer rooms are on the third floor and the fourth floor. In another building,the P.E.room is on the first floor. The music rooms are on the third floor and the fourth floor. My class room is on the fifth floor. I am in Class five， Grade five.
There are five gardens in our school. In the gardens there are many beautiful flowers，grass and trees. There is a big playground in my school.
I usually get up at 6:15 in the morning. Then I do morning exercises in the playground. At 6:40, I have my breakfast. You can see many students and teachers in the dinning room. After breakfast, I often read English with my classmates.
We have six classes every day. The first class begins at 7:50 am. I like all the classes for my teachers can make the classes lively and interesting.My favorite subject is English, so I join English Corner every week. I can speak English with many other students there. Its very interesting and exciting. I think its helpful for me to learn English well. After class, I always play games with my friends. We play soccer ball,basketball, volleyball, ping-pong and so on. They are very relaxing.
The teachers in my school are very kind . The students are very polite and smart. I am happy in my school.

I am very happy to meet with you here today to tell you my speech is entitled "English, so I am happy."
English, spread to all over the world, people talk about memorization. Since my time in first grade began to learn English, I was not interested in it, but the third and fourth grade, when a sudden interest in reading in English every day, and even self-learning, to raise a lot of English results .

作為一名五年級學生的家長，想必您時常為孩子的學業(yè)問題操心，作為英語老師，我也盼望著與您多多交流，共同探討孩子成才的問題。我想先來談?wù)剬W習英語的重要性1.英語是當今世界上主要的國際通用語言這一，也是世界上最廣泛使用的語言。2。隨著我國對外開放的不斷擴大化,科學技術(shù)的不斷進步,國際地位的不斷提高,迫切需要造就一大批精通外語的專門人才。3.信息高速公路“互聯(lián)網(wǎng)”信息近80%是由英語承載，許多技術(shù)性質(zhì)和科學性質(zhì)文獻資料都是采用英文書寫。英語學不好，在今后的社會中就難以立足。就目前而言五年級的英語教材與初中英語教材是配套的，這就意味著：現(xiàn)在的英語成績不僅直接影響孩子的升學，還影響著孩子將來的英語學習!接下來我給家長介紹一下我們五年級學生的一些情況�？偟膩碚f，有一部分的同學還可以，但是多數(shù)同學的基礎(chǔ)很不扎實，有的三年級的入門就沒入好，還有的一知半解，個別的孩子甚至拼讀、書寫、背誦等學習英語的好習慣還沒有很好的養(yǎng)成。一個根本的原因是對英語學習不夠重視，再就是沒有好的方法。針對以上特點，我將在今后的教學中，加強英語的基礎(chǔ)知識教學，從字母的.正確發(fā)音書寫到一些基本的單詞和句型，都要從頭學起。我想努力給孩子們重建一套牢固的英語知識體系，但是這不是一件容易的事，也不是一件能一蹴而就的事。這需要家長們的幫助和支持。首先我們家長要充分重視孩子的英語學習，要知道英語成績直接關(guān)系孩子們在學校和將來走上社會以后的競爭力。一只木桶能盛多少水，是由最短的一塊木板決定的。不要讓英語成為孩子們最短的木板。老師的辛勤付出，學生的努力，家長的重視與督促，三方結(jié)合，我們的英語學習一定大有起色，前途光明。
五年級的教材難度較大，要求也上了幾個臺階。細心的家長可能就會發(fā)現(xiàn)，五年級的課本和四年級的課本相比，無論是從詞匯量，語法還是課文篇幅的長短都有了明顯的區(qū)別，四年級的內(nèi)容相當簡單，它簡直就是三年級知識的鞏固，稍微有所延伸，而五年級一下子就接觸并需要掌握兩種時態(tài)。所以，有些同學很不能適應(yīng)，四年級學得輕松，還考好成績，怎么到了五年級就不行了，這樣的現(xiàn)象很普遍，說到底，還是好的習慣沒有養(yǎng)成，不夠勤奮。希望家長能夠配合老師，把孩子的成績抓上去。社會形勢決定了英語學科的重要性，請各位家長務(wù)必重視英語這一學科，你們思想上重視了，無形中也給孩子以熏陶，重視與不重視肯定是完全不同的。我堅信：如果您的孩子在您的支持和老師的指導下能夠及時完成老師布置的任務(wù)，那么一定能學好。要教導您的孩子一要有吃苦耐勞的精神。堅持嚴謹?shù)膶W習作風，成績馬上就會見效。
在英語課堂上，大部分學生都能很活躍的回答老師提出的問題，積極跟著老師拼讀單詞，朗讀課文。其實這也制造了一種假象，學生認為自己常常被老師提問，認為自己能夠回答老師的問題，于是認為自己的英語學得很不錯，自我感覺特別好。于是下課后在英語上花的時間就少了。其實要學好英語，課上占40%，其余的60%還需要學生在課后不斷的鞏固，加深記憶。在課上老師更多的是教授
新知識，當然課上也會有少量的時間鞏固新學的知識。但是這些時間是公共的時間，而不是每個學生私有的時間，所以不可能照顧到每個學生，不可能讓所有學生都達到相同的程度。況且每個學生對新知識得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能當堂就已經(jīng)有很深的印象，很難忘記，但這肯定是很少的。大部分學生都只能是初步接觸了新知識，要真正接受新知識還要學生在課后多下功夫，不然肯定會和別的同學拉下差距。
那么在課后學生到底該怎么做才能把其余的60%補回來呢?英語畢竟不是我們自己的語言，大多數(shù)學生除了英語課其余時間根本就不會想到要說英語，所以，在課后一定要主動抽時間為自己補習英語。學好英語，不外乎就是在聽，說，讀，寫這些方面下功夫。
首先說一下聽，每個學生都有和書相配套的磁帶，可是請各位家長檢查一下自己的子女的英語磁帶，有多少學生的磁帶還是和剛發(fā)的時候一樣的，根本就沒有聽過。不要說另外買什么英語聽力磁帶或者英語學習的碟片了，連自己手頭的磁帶都不去聽，光靠上課聽一點點的磁帶，學生的聽力根本就不能有什么發(fā)展。不會聽就不能說，而說白了，學了英語就是要說，那不是白學了么?聽錄音機跟讀，目的應(yīng)該是兩種，一種同學是上課沒有完全消化，聽錄音是補充學習的過程，另外一種是提高自己的聽力和口語表達能力，要學生盡力地去模仿錄音機里的發(fā)音，從而使自己的聽力和口語都提高一個層次。我確信：英語要學好和智商無關(guān)，學不好英語的人都是懶惰的人
接下來是說，英語是一門語言，學了就是要說，要和別人交流。我們學的英語不應(yīng)該是啞巴英語，要讓每個學生學會勇敢地說出來。在課上我會用各種方法來刺激學生，激發(fā)他們說英語的積極性，大多數(shù)學生也確實做得很好。可是班級里人多，對每個人來說，說的機會就少。所以下課也要說;放學回家也要說。在學校，我鼓勵學生把所學的英語對話運用到生活中去，這樣有更真實的情景，更能讓學生有發(fā)揮的余地。在家里，希望家長也能鼓勵學生說英語，也許你會說你自己也聽不懂，請不要這樣想，其實學生需要是你的鼓勵，你聽了他們說的只要簡單表揚一句，他們就會很滿足了。有時候你們也可以不懂裝懂，或者還可以讓學生反過來教你，他們會覺得很自豪，因為自己所學得派上了用場。
接下來是讀。有句話：“讀書破萬卷，下筆如有神�！睂W英語也是這樣，很多家長也明白，學英語要培養(yǎng)語感，也就是語言的感覺，如果有很好的語感，那么不管是說話，做題目，還是寫文章，都很輕松，很簡單了。那么語感怎么來呢?就是靠讀出來的。一定要讓學生養(yǎng)成每天讀英語的習慣，這是學英語的最基本的學習習慣了。每天早上一定要讀20分鐘左右的英語，并且每天都堅持，絕不因任何原因間斷。無論什么事情都貴在堅持嘛。如果你的子女還沒有養(yǎng)成這樣的學習習慣，請你一定要督促他，剛開始也許會比較難，時間久了，就會習慣成自然。就像早上起來要刷牙洗臉一樣，要讓他們把讀英語當作每天必做的一件事。最后我想和各位家長共同分享一句名言：播種一種行為，收獲一種習慣；播種一種習慣，收獲一種性格；播種一種性格，收獲一種命運。給孩子打下銅底鐵幫的江山，不如送他一生都受用不盡的好品德好習慣。養(yǎng)成凡事追求卓越的好習慣，成功就變成自然而然的事情。
