I am so stressful when I stand befor a lot of people ,so it Is hard for me to make a speech in public. In order to overcome my drawback ,I chose the class that you teach .the first time I met you ,I found you are so kind to us ,what is more ,you are patience .no matter how bad the speech we made ,you always encourage us to go ahead. Owing to this reason, I had made twice speech ,even though I knew how bad It is .
There were two things that you gave me a deep impression:
On one class ,I read a conversation that appeared in ppt. you walked towards me ,and said: this is a conversation ,not an article “ I did not know what I s you point that time ,so you read it for me . at last ,I got it .after that case ,when I read the conversation or make conversation with my parterner ,I will think of you suggestion .thus ,I believe I will so a good job next time .
what is more , you help me to become more inimi.
Oneday My parterner illed ,so he did not keep me company to the class .so I was alone . but we had a conversation ,I could do nothing but to read it myself ,by that time ,you asked me to make the conversation with the girl who Is behind me .and you told me that a boy should be more i….what you said give me a deep impression and I know the next time what I supposed to do .
what I want to talk is more than what I have talked .
the class you taught Is called “spoken english ”.this is a pratical class. Many people interested in it and decide to learn it .as it is know to all ,almost of us have a poor spoken level. So it is hard for you to encourage us to practice our spoken English . however ,you told us that all of us should make at least a speech at the end of the semester in the first class. Besides, we also have to make several conversations with our parterner. Though some students were disagree with you ,but in my view, you have made a wise decision.
In our class , first ,we will have enough time for our speech. In general, every class we would have four classmates to give us their speech. of course ,some speech is pretty good ,the student could make his idea clear and prounouce well. But most of the speech is just so so. but you inspired us everytime.
Second ,we will learn some useful sentence for our spoken english , we usually have a conversation in this part. Third ,we will watch a video. Sometimes , we will have a short story which is meaningful in the blackboard ,then you will help us to learn something from it . every week , I was very glad to have your class for the sake of you charming .
In here , I want to tell you that you have done a good job to us ,I am proud of you . in fact ,most teachers in your position are just complish their job ,you will get a good grade no matter how you really learn in his or her class . however ,in my mind ,you are different .first and formost, you are responsible to your class .that is to say , you try your best to help us improve our spoken English . and you always prepared for the class .so we could learn something new in your class ,this is the reason why I am so interest in this class. It is said that the custom of Spring Festival started in when people offered sacrifice to ancestors in the last month of Chinese lunar calendar. At that time, people prepared the sacrifice by doing thorough cleaning, having bathes and so on. Later, people began to worship different deities as well on that day. It is the time that almost all the farm works were done and people have free time. The sacrificing time changed according to the farming schedule and was not fixed until the Han Dynasty (202BC-220AD). The customs of worshipping deities and ancestors remains even though the ceremonies are not as grand as before. It is also the time that spring is coming, so people held all kinds of ceremonies to welcome it.
There are many legends about Spring Festival in Chinese culture. In folk culture, it is also called “guonian” (meaning “passing a year”). It is said that the “nian” (year) was a strong monster which was fierce and cruel and ate one kind of animal including human being a day. Human beings were scared about it and had to hide on the evening when the “nian” came out. Later, people found that “nian” was very scared about the red color and fireworks. So after that, people use red color and fireworks or firecrackers to drive away “nian”. As a result, the custom of using red color and setting off fireworks remains.
Preparing the New Year starts 7 days before the New Year’s Eve. According to Chinese lunar calendar, people start to clean the house on Dec. 24, butcher on Dec. 26th and so on. People have certain things to do on each day. These activities will end Jan. 15th of the lunar calendar.

My topic today is Never Lose the Vision of Reality. Talking about dreams and future, I would say, dreams should never be too far away from reality. Detaching from reality, lacking solid or practical actions, any future plan or dream project will be nothing short of daydreaming, or, at most well-intentioned thinking. Here I am reminded the year of 20xx, when 191 member states of the United Nations held a World Summit Conference, which made a declaration known as the Millennium Development Goals. The goals of 20xx, which every member state pledged to meet, were such as, elimination of hunger and poverty, drastic reduction in child mortality rates, reversing a spread of AIDS and other deadly diseases, etc. Now, six years later, almost half way to the final year of 20xx, do we see any signs of realizing these goalsToday, half the world- about three billion people, still live under two U.S. dollars a day; about 270 million children have no access to safe water, 11 million children die before they reach the age of five each year. Do we come to harness the spread of the AIDSThe answer is also “no”- and indeed AIDS is spreading faster and wider than ever before. What is even worse, with the wake of the Iraqi War, the nuclear crisis in Iran and unsettled situations in many places, the visions of us young people today are often limited- but the limited vision (that) we do have and care about every day

Everybody knows waste pa-pe-r and used coke cans are discarded everywhere. You might have seen plastic bags flying in the sky and getting caught in the trees when the wind blows or maybe you have seen old cans floating in the rivers and polluting the water. Our environment is the place in which we live, but it is being ruined by us.
There is a story about house and trees. It is said that a man’s house was surrounded by a lot of trees. Though the wind was strong, that man could have a good rest under the trees. How comfortable the life was!
One day, that man wanted to enlarge his house, so he cut down all the trees. Then the autumn came without the protection. The strong wind blew the roof of the house into the sky. The whole house was gone with the wind. What a pity!
But that’s the price people have to pay for destroying in the ecology balance. People shouldn’t be short-sighted. Protecting the environment is everyone’s task.
As you know, there are four kinds of pollution. They are air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution. But what can we do to solve the pollution? I think, firstly, we can make cars that don’t pollute the environment. We can ask companies to use modern clean technology.
In some big cities, we can limit the number of cars. Secondly, we can try to use lewater and make sure that we do not pollute the water. We can tell factories that they are not allowed to pour waste water into the lakes and rivers.
Thirdly, we should not throw rubbish in parks and cities. We can pick up rubbish if we see it. We can put more rubbish bins in our parks and cities. Fourthly, we can live far from the noise and make the laws to limit the noise.
