　　想學好英語，首先要培養(yǎng)對英語的興趣。“興趣是最好的老師”,興趣是學習英語的巨大動力，有了興趣，學習就會事半功倍。有的同學說：“我一看到英語就頭疼，怎么能培養(yǎng)對英語的興趣呢?”還有的同學說：“英語單詞我今天記了明天忘，我太笨了，唉，我算沒治了。”這都是缺乏信心的表現(xiàn)。練好基本功是學好英語的必要條件，要想基本功扎實，必須全神貫注地認真聽講,上好每一節(jié)課，提高課堂效率，腳踏實地、一步一個腳印地，做到以下“五到”：

　　一、“心到”。在課堂上應聚精會神，一刻也不能懈怠，大腦要始終處于積極狀態(tài)，思維要活躍、思路要開闊，心隨老師走，聽懂每一句話，抓住每一個環(huán)節(jié)，理解每一個知識點，多聯(lián)想、多思考，做到心領神會。

　　一是持之以恒：每天堅持記憶一定量的詞匯，過幾天再回頭復習一次，這樣周期循環(huán)，反復記憶，經常使用，就會變短時記憶為長時記憶并牢固掌握。需要注意的是，一旦開始，就要堅持下來，千萬不能半途而廢，切不可三天打魚，兩天曬網。

　　二是良好的記憶方法：記憶單詞的方法很多，學無定法，但學有良法。張思中的“集中識詞，分類記憶”不失為一種適合中學生的好方法。把中學生應掌握的3500個單詞集中匯總，分門別類，先過單詞關，然后再學教材，在課本中使用和鞏固它們的用法。分類的方法有多種，同一元音或元音字母組合發(fā)音相同的單詞歸為一類;根據(jù)詞形詞性、同義詞反義詞等集中記憶;把相同詞根、前綴、后綴、合成、轉化、派生等構詞法相同的單詞或詞組列在一起集中識記印象比較深刻，記憶效果也比較明顯。這樣每天記40-80個單詞，堅持不懈，多聯(lián)想，多思考，多使用，詞匯問題不就解決了嗎?在學習的過程中多注視單詞的用法和詞組的搭配，牢記老師講過的單詞慣用法和句型，這樣不僅有助于我們解題，而且在寫作時也會信手拈來，運用自如。

　　1)根據(jù)讀音記寫法，長詞還要學會劃分音節(jié)，分段記單詞。盡量不要一個字母一個字母地背。在短語或句子中記意思。要在運用中去記憶。另外記憶單詞要利用多種方法，比如分類記憶：我們把動物的有關詞匯放在一起，把有關校園的有關詞匯放在一起，或者天文，地理，等等。對比記憶;把同音詞、同義詞、反義詞放在一起進行對比，效果會更好。構詞法記憶：合成法，即兩個單詞放在一起組成一個新單詞。派生法，即通過加前綴或后綴的方法構成新詞。2.)及時復習，克服遺忘。

　　著名的艾賓浩斯遺忘曲線”告訴我們遺忘的規(guī)律是“先快后慢，先多后少“。因而不要指望一次復習就能高枕無憂。不僅在學后當天，在一天后、一周后、一月后以及在你需要用它的任何時候之前都應安排復習。上課認真聽講，及時記憶。我們記憶單詞一次不要太多，5-10個，一次不要時間太長。準備一個小的單詞積累本，可利用零散時間經常復習，和遺忘做斗爭。如利用早操前，睡覺前，課間，飯后等時間。還要有恒心和毅力，不能三天打漁兩天曬網。通過不斷積累，詞匯量一定會大大增加。

　　2.培養(yǎng)閱讀能力.

　　1)要養(yǎng)成良好的閱讀心理。閱讀時心緒要安定，精神要集中，不要一遇到幾個生詞難句，就心煩意亂，過分緊張的情緒會影響大腦的正常思維功能。

　　2)培養(yǎng)猜詞能力�？衫�用構詞法、上下文猜測詞義。

　　3)提高閱讀速度。閱讀不同于朗讀，有的同學雖不出聲但是嘴在動，會大大影響閱讀速度。因此閱讀時應做到眼動嘴不動，嘴里的小舌也不要動。另外，閱讀時眼球總是不斷地移動---停頓----移動著，理解是在眼停的瞬間進行的。我們要使眼停的時間相對增加，就要擴大視讀的廣度，把逐詞逐句的點式閱讀變成一次掃描一句的線式閱讀，并且把看到的東西迅速報告給大腦，形成眼腦較快的直映能力。咱們語文速讀有一目十行的方法，英語閱讀一目一句怎么樣?一定不要在個別難懂的詞句上磨蹭，而影響閱讀的速度。

　　4)學會找主題句。主題句往往在每段的開頭，因此我們一定要重視每段的第一句。當然，主題句也可能在一段的最后，或在一段的中間。要靈活把握。主題句是概括性的句子。

　　5)較長或較難的文章可以先看問題，再讀文章。
