　　Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

　　We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind.

　　Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.

　　各位家長：

　　大家下午好!首先我要感謝各位家長的到來。您的到來是對我們的教學(xué)工作的支持，也是對孩子學(xué)習(xí)的重視。孩子的教育需要家庭和學(xué)校相互的配合和支持，作為七年級一班的英語老師，我特別希望能都得到大家的支持，希望您能和我一起幫助孩子學(xué)習(xí)英語。

　　今天我的發(fā)言有三個方面。首先，我想和大家一起談?wù)剬W(xué)習(xí)英語的重要性。作為一名家長我們應(yīng)該知道英語關(guān)系每一個學(xué)生的未來的成績與繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)的發(fā)展。因為初中考高中，高中考大學(xué)，大學(xué)后考研讀博，其中必考的科目便是英語，如果要出國留學(xué)，考toefl、考gre、考ielts，這一切都是英語。因此，英語幾乎伴隨每一個學(xué)生的一生。進入初中后，英語的地位發(fā)生了重大的變化，由小學(xué)時侯的副課變得和語文數(shù)學(xué)一樣重要，在中考和高考中，英語和語文數(shù)學(xué)一樣都是120和150分的總分。對于孩子來講，七年級是一個很好的重新建立信心，學(xué)好英語的機會，我們是從最基本的abc開始學(xué)的，即使以前沒有任何基礎(chǔ)，從現(xiàn)在開始認真學(xué)也是可以把英語學(xué)好的。很多孩子在小學(xué)都沒有重視英語，家長也沒有過多關(guān)注，我希望我們家長在了解了英語的重要性后能和孩子一起重視英語。

　　你們思想上重視了，無形中也給孩子以熏陶，重視與不重視肯定是完全不同的，在英語課堂上，大部分學(xué)生都能很活躍的回答老師提出的問題，積極跟著老師拼讀單詞，朗讀課文。其實這也制造了一種假象，學(xué)生認為自己常常被老師提問，認為自己能夠回答老師的問題，于是認為自己的英語學(xué)得很不錯，自我感覺特別好。于是下課后在英語上花的時間就少了。其實要學(xué)好英語，課上占40%，其余的60%還需要學(xué)生在課后不斷的鞏固，加深記憶。在課上老師更多的是教授新知識，當(dāng)然課上也會有少量的時間鞏固新學(xué)的知識。但是這些時間是公共的時間，而不是每個學(xué)生私有的時間，所以不可能照顧到每個學(xué)生，不可能讓所有學(xué)生都達到相同的程度。況且每個學(xué)生對新知識得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能當(dāng)堂就已經(jīng)有很深的印象，很難忘記，但這肯定是很少的。大部分學(xué)生都只能是初步接觸了新知識，要真正接受新知識還要學(xué)生在課后多下功夫，不然肯定會和別的同學(xué)拉下差距。

　　第二，我想講講英語的學(xué)習(xí)方法。英語畢竟不是我們自己的語言，大多數(shù)學(xué)生除了英語課其余時間根本就不會想到要說英語，所以，在課后一定要主動抽時間為自己補習(xí)英語。學(xué)好英語，不外乎就是在聽，說，讀，寫這些方面下功夫。

　　首先說一下聽，不少學(xué)生都有和書相配套的磁帶，復(fù)讀機，學(xué)習(xí)機，可是請各位家長檢查一下自己的子女的英語磁帶，有多少學(xué)生的磁帶還是和剛發(fā)的時候一樣的，根本就沒有聽過。光靠上課聽一點點的磁帶，學(xué)生的聽力根本就不能有什么發(fā)展。不會聽就不能說，而說白了，學(xué)了英語就是要說，聽錄音機跟讀，目的應(yīng)該是兩種，一種同學(xué)是上課沒有完全消化，聽錄音是補充學(xué)習(xí)的過程，另外一種是提高自己的聽力和口語表達能力，要學(xué)生盡力地去模仿錄音機里的發(fā)音，從而使自己的聽力和口語都提高一個層次。

　　接下來是說，英語是一門語言，學(xué)了就是要說，要和別人交流。我們學(xué)的英語不應(yīng)該是啞巴英語，要讓每個學(xué)生學(xué)會勇敢地說出來。在課上我會用各種方法來刺激學(xué)生，激發(fā)他們說英語的積極性，大多數(shù)學(xué)生也確實做得很好。放學(xué)回家也要說。在學(xué)校，我鼓勵學(xué)生把所學(xué)的英語對話運用到生活中去，這樣有更真實的情景，更能讓學(xué)生有發(fā)揮的余地。在家里，希望家長也能鼓勵學(xué)生說英語，也許你會說你自己也聽不懂，請不要這樣想，其實學(xué)生需要是你的鼓勵，你聽了他們說的只要簡單表揚一句，他們就會很滿足了。有時候你們也可以不懂裝懂，或者還可以讓學(xué)生反過來教你，他們會覺得很自豪，因為自己所學(xué)派上了用場。

　　接下來是讀。有句話：“讀書破萬卷，下筆如有神。”學(xué)英語也是這樣，很多家長也明白，學(xué)英語要培養(yǎng)語感，也就是語言的感覺，如果有很好的語感，那么不管是說話，做題目，還是寫文章，都很輕松，很簡單了。那么語感怎么來呢?就是靠讀出來的。一定要讓學(xué)生養(yǎng)成每天讀英語的習(xí)慣，這是學(xué)英語的最基本的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣了。每天早上一定要讀20分鐘左右的英語，哪怕有時候時間來不及了，即使是遲到也要讀，并且每天都堅持，絕不因任何原因間斷。無論什么事情都貴在堅持嘛。如果你的子女還沒有養(yǎng)成這樣的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣，請你一定要督促他，剛開始也許會比較難，時間久了，就會習(xí)慣成自然。就像早上起來要刷牙洗臉一樣，要讓他們把讀英語當(dāng)作每天必做的一件事。

　　最后是寫。主要就是單詞短語的默寫/聽寫，這是學(xué)英語的必經(jīng)之路。單詞往往背過就容易會忘記，所以要不斷的背默寫，不斷的翻新。背單詞的時候要邊拼邊寫，嘴巴和手都要動起來，嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。家長在這里要作好檢查督促的工作，不要用不懂英語來幫助你的孩子學(xué)會偷懶，你可以報中文，讓你的孩子默寫，然后對照書本批改訂正，每天堅持的話，你一定會有意想不到的效果。還有句型，學(xué)生應(yīng)該在課上領(lǐng)會句型的意思和運用方法。課后還需要通過多讀課文，多練習(xí)才能鞏固所學(xué)的句型。所以請各位家長不光要注重孩子背單詞短語的情況，還要讓他重視句子的重要性。

　　第三，我想說說我們班英語學(xué)習(xí)的狀況。初一階段的教學(xué)主要是要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣，養(yǎng)成良好的學(xué)習(xí)英語的習(xí)慣。我的課堂也是圍繞聽、說、讀、寫幾個方面對所學(xué)知識進行操練和運用。通過這一個月教學(xué)，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我們班大部分學(xué)生都自尊心強，上進心強，都能很用心認真的學(xué)習(xí)英語，這使我對他們充滿信心。但是也發(fā)現(xiàn)了以下問題：

　　1.學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度不夠端正。上課聽講不專心，愛開小差;講了的作業(yè)交上來還是錯誤的;

　　2.不能按時完成最基本的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。單詞，詞組和課文不會背不會寫不會默，達不到要求也不努力去完成。還有拖欠作業(yè)的情況。很多男生自律性較差，很懶惰，今天拖明天明天拖后天。

　　3.學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣差。沒有做到每天記單詞，或者記單詞不動筆，上課記筆記要點名提醒，聽力不做預(yù)測，寫完作文從來不檢查，英語課文和筆記課后從來不讀不看不記。從來不做閱讀，導(dǎo)致考試速度慢，效果差。

　　針對以上問題，我也研究了一些方法和策略，需要各位家長的配合和支持。

　　1、督促學(xué)生在家聽英語磁帶，最好能每天堅持聽5——10分鐘，這將對孩子的學(xué)習(xí)有很大幫助。

　　2、爭取消化當(dāng)天所學(xué)的單詞，不要積壓任務(wù)。每天堅持檢查10個單詞，一本書的單詞也只要一個月就記完了。我每天都會組織一次聽寫，錯誤比較多的同學(xué)會及時讓他們改正。請家長要檢查聽寫本。

　　3、請家長督促孩子在家里完成家庭作業(yè)，以免他們來學(xué)校在匆忙之中互相抄襲。每天回家要求記本單元的單詞，有時會默寫2a部分課文。這也是為了給學(xué)生一點點壓力，讓他們知道父母會經(jīng)常檢查他們的作業(yè)本，一定要認真寫才行。

　　4、每天要學(xué)會預(yù)習(xí)、復(fù)習(xí)。如果你的孩子英語基礎(chǔ)不是很好，可以督促他們先在家查字典。

　　總之，我和各位家長有著共同的心愿，都想盡自己最大的努力去培養(yǎng)這些孩子，他們個個都聰明、可愛，只是有些孩子的潛能還沒有得到充分的發(fā)掘。七年級我的目標(biāo)是不讓一個學(xué)生掉隊。今后，我也希望和各位家長保持聯(lián)系，如果孩子遇到學(xué)習(xí)問題我們及時溝通。
