尊敬的老師，親愛的同學們：
大家好!
我是來自七(12)班的康雯祺，今天，我為大家?guī)淼墓适碌念}目叫做《起早》。
我上床的時候是晚上11點，窗戶外面下著小雪。我縮到被子里面，拿起鬧鐘，發(fā)現(xiàn)鬧鐘停了，我忘買電池了。天這么冷，我不愿意再起來。我就給媽媽打了個長途電話：“媽，我鬧鐘沒電池了，明天還要去總公司開會，要趕早，你六點的時候給我個電話叫我起床吧。"
媽媽在那頭的聲音有點啞，可能已經(jīng)睡了，她說：“好，女兒，你放心睡吧�！�
電話響的時候我在做一個美夢，外面的天黑黑的。媽媽在那邊說："你快起床，今天要開會的。"我抬手看表，才五點四十。我不耐煩地叫起來，"我不是叫你六點嗎?我還想多睡一會兒呢，被你攪了!"媽媽在那頭突然不說話了，我掛了電話。
起來梳洗好，出門。真冷啊，漫天的雪，天地間茫茫一片。公車站臺上我不停地跺著腳。周圍黑漆漆的，我旁邊卻站著兩個白發(fā)蒼蒼的老人。我聽著老先生對老太太說："你看你一晚都沒有睡好，早幾個小時就開始催我了，現(xiàn)在等這么久。"
是啊，第一趟班車還要五分鐘才來呢。終于車來了，我上車。開車的'是一位很年輕的小伙子，他等我上車之后就轟轟地把車開走了。我說："喂，司機，下面還有兩位老人呢，你怎么不等他們上車就開車?"
那個小伙子很神氣地說："沒關(guān)系的，那是我爸爸媽媽!今天是我第一天開公交，他們來看我的!"
我突然就哭了。隨后看到爸爸發(fā)來的短消息："女兒，媽媽說，是她不好，她一直沒有睡好，很早就醒了，擔心你會遲到。"
忽然想起一句猶太人諺語： 父親給兒子東西的時候，兒子笑了。 兒子給父親東西的時候，父親哭了。

敬愛的老師，親愛的同學們：
大家早上好!今天我演講的題目是《關(guān)注交通安全，珍惜生命》。
這幾年，全世界人民都飽受了災難帶來的痛苦。那些撕心裂肺的哭喊，無不見證著一個事實——活著，是多么幸福啊!在這些突發(fā)的災難面前，人們開始再一次審視生命的意義和價值。平安，不僅是幸福，更是責任。對自己的生命負責，就是對自己的家人負責，對愛自己、關(guān)心自己的人負責。當居高不下的交通事故，成為生命的一大殺手時，我要在這里說：珍惜生命，關(guān)注交通安全。
人們都說，交通事故猛于虎�？墒抢匣⒃賰�，也只能一口吃掉一個人，而交通事故則會一口吞噬幾個甚至幾十個人的生命。據(jù)媒體統(tǒng)計指出，中國汽車數(shù)量占全世界的1.9%，但汽車交通死亡事故占全球的15%，一年因交通事故而死去的人數(shù)就多達十萬人!
作為中學生，我們往往以行人的角色出現(xiàn)在馬路上，所以我們更要明白行人應遵守的交通規(guī)則�！凹t燈停，綠燈行，黃燈停一�！�、“過馬路要走人行橫道”、“不要隨意穿越馬路”等，這些想必大家已聽過無數(shù)次了，可是能做到嚴格遵守的，又有幾人呢?正是這些或僥幸或疏忽的心理使無數(shù)個鮮活的生命消逝在了車輪之下。如果你缺少應有的警惕，如果你忽視起碼的安全常識，那么危險一旦降臨，你將會后悔莫及。本可逃離的厄運，卻總在意料之外，客觀之中發(fā)生了，事后萬分的后悔，都抵不過事前一分的清醒。
同學們，我們每個人必須把平安的種子播種在自己的心田，當它發(fā)芽、開花、長成參天大樹，我們必將收獲祥和、幸福、安寧的果實。

common sense would be revolted if we engaged upon this process for petty reasons. congress has a lot to do: appropriations, tax reform, health insurance, campaign finance reform, housing, environmental protection, energy sufficiency, mass transportation. pettiness cannot be allowed to stand in the face of such overwhelming problems. so today we are not being petty. we are trying to be big, because the task we have before us is a big one.
this morning, in a discussion of the evidence, we were told that the evidence which purports to support the allegations of misuse of the cia by the president is thin. we're told that that evidence is insufficient. what that recital of the evidence this morning did not include is what the president did know on june the 23rd, 1972.
the president did know that it was republican money, that it was money from the committee for the re-election of the president, which was found in the possession of one of the burglars arrested on june the 17th. what the president did know on the 23rd of june was the prior activities of e. howard hunt, which included his participation in the break-in of daniel ellsberg's psychiatrist, which included howard hunt's participation in the dita beard itt affair, which included howard hunt's fabrication of cables designed to discredit the kennedy administration.
