我去過長城，我見識過了長城的長，因為我用了兩個多小時才走完它的一小段。

我站在這位巨人的手臂上看，遠處的景物一目了然。在遠處的群山上，樹木長得蔥蔥籠籠。原來這長城還是個放大鏡哩!
單看這數(shù)不清的條石，一塊有兩三千斤重。那是沒有火車、汽車，也沒有起重機，就靠著無數(shù)的肩膀無數(shù)的手，一步一步抬上這陡峭的山嶺。
在此，我想說，我們的先民在極其貧乏的物質(zhì)條件下，以最原始、最簡單的工具才完成了這前不見頭，后不見尾的萬里長城!
這樣氣魄雄偉的工程，在世界歷史上是一個偉大的奇跡!
