　　Xiangying Kindergarten is a town-ship kindergarten. It was set up in 1997 by Xiangying Township. Eighty percent of the children　come from peasants' families. It was tough in its early years and nearly collapsed. However, during the past years, great changes have taken place because of a project sponsored by government. A new building has taken the place of the house made of the earth and a new small playground was built. Besides, there have been some amusement devices. The township provided the kindergarten with a lot of advanced equipment such as pianos and TV sets. The number of children has increased to nearly 200, and the number of teachers has reached to 25. Now parents are willing to send their children to the kindergarten.

　　During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. Almost every family in the village had color TV set and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or rebuilt. Traveling has become a new trend among villagers. Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.
