20xx年全國卷英語高考作文素材1:Computer Games
Playing computer games takes the teenagers too much time these days. So I think computer games should be done away with. They are nothing but a waste of time, money and energy. Teenagers should do valuable things like reading, studying and going to concerts and museums.
Computer games are bad for both the physical and mental health of the young. The computer games rooms are very dark, noisy, and the content are unhealthy and violent, and so on.
Therefore, computer games arcades should be banned fi‘om cities and towns.

2:Robbing by Mistake
Once a man from Peking had arrived at a small town in Canton and was staying with his wife at a small hotel there. One night he went out for a walk alone. It was late and the small street was dark and lonely.Suddenly he heard footsteps behind him.He turned his head and saw a native young man who quickly walked past him.The man was nearly out of sight when the Pekingese suddenly found that his watch was gone.He thought that it was the young man who had taken his watch. He decided to follow him and force him to return the watch.
Soon the Pekingese caught up with the young man.Neither of them understood the other's language. The visitor from Peking threatened the young man with his fist and pointed to his watch-pocket.The young man thought that the stranger was demanding his own watch. In the end the young man gave up his watch to the stranger.
When the visitor returned to the hotel he told his wife what had happened. He was greatly surprised when his wife pointed to the watch on the table. Now he realized that by mistake he had robbed the native young man of his watch.
20xx年全國卷英語高考作文素材3:A Person I knew
Loose, wavy brown hair hung down to her waist at the back--she had a fringe over her forehead that almost hid her pale eyes. The nose--not her best feature--was long but not ugly. She had a regular set of white teeth and was full-lipped.
Her round face often looked rather sallow in complexion;she wasn't very tall or slim, and she walked with slightly-rounded shoulders. When I knew her,she must have been in her early thirties, about thirty-fifth even-and she even had one or two tell-tale wrinkles round the mouth.
