　　再過幾天就是春節(jié)了，家家都在準(zhǔn)備著年貨，打掃著衛(wèi)生，迎接著這個(gè)節(jié)日 的到來。

　　走在街上，人人臉上都洋溢著喜慶的笑容，手里提著大包小包，不用說肯定是新年的衣服。商場(chǎng)里，也是人滿為患:有小朋友牽著父母的手一起買衣服的，有夫妻倆甜甜蜜蜜買衣服的，還有兒女牽著長(zhǎng)輩有說有笑買衣服的，總之大家都是喜氣洋洋的。

　　來到農(nóng)村，殺豬宰羊……以各自的風(fēng)俗慶春節(jié)，在有的地方還開始了集市，他喊一聲買飲料，他喊一聲買衣服，這邊喊減價(jià)了，那邊喊買二送一了，各個(gè)東西應(yīng)有盡有，真是琳瑯滿目，熱鬧極啦。

　　到了春節(jié)的大年三十晚上，春節(jié)晚會(huì)就開始了，演小品、說相聲、唱歌什么節(jié)目都有，一個(gè)節(jié)目演完臺(tái)下掌聲一片，直到三更半夜人們都困了，節(jié)目才完。節(jié)目完了，可人們還興致勃勃，因?yàn)檫�沒發(fā)壓歲錢、放煙花呢!等干完這一切，差不多十二點(diǎn)了，小孩子們都拿著壓歲錢去睡覺了大人要閑聊一陣才去睡。

　　第二天，人們又得起個(gè)大早，帶著買好的禮物去走親戚，親戚多的要走好幾天呢，少的也至少要走一天多。

　　春節(jié)真好，可以讓人們忙碌的生活得到放松，也可以為大家枯燥的事情添上一些樂趣。

　　在除夕之前，人們都要忙著四件事：謝神、備料做粿、掃舍和買年貨。潮俗，每年冬至過后，家里要謝神。備料做“紅桃發(fā)粿”。是將大米和糯米分別浸于水中幾小時(shí)，使米質(zhì)松疏，撈干后于石臼中打成細(xì)粉，曬干。這就是做“紅桃法粿”的主料。掃舍要選擇吉日，是一件不尋常的事。是日，各家主婦最忙，把屋子的里里外外打掃干凈，對(duì)一些長(zhǎng)年少用之物都要清洗。

　　十二月二十四日，就是傳說中的“神上天”之期。是日，家家戶戶都要拜“糖桃”。一方紅紙，上面用軟糖擺成一粒桃子的形態(tài)，成為“糖桃”。此物沾住“杜王爺”的嘴，讓其“上天說好話，落地保平安”。過年還要拜“老爺”，也就是祭神。祭神的祭品有三樣：“紅桃發(fā)粿”、“鼠殼粿”、“菜頭粿”。“紅桃發(fā)粿”就是用綠豆去殼，然后把豆磨成粉，接著蒸熟，做粿餡料。“菜頭粿”就是蘿卜糕。

　　過年祭祖，要到除夕日下午。過年，家里已成年有收入的小輩，要給長(zhǎng)輩送“壓歲錢”，長(zhǎng)輩也要對(duì)未成年的小輩給“壓歲錢”，戶戶如此，體現(xiàn)了尊老惜幼的美德。

　　在正月里，潮汕地區(qū)都游神祈福的活動(dòng)，就是把廟里面的神座抬到大街上游行，人們要放鞭炮、燒香、接福。這就是潮州春節(jié)的習(xí)俗。
