Nowadays there is an increasing number of people taking the College English Test Band 6. They feel the need to further their English sludy after passing CET-4 and use the test as a motive and means to keep on learning English. Still there are some people who think it is unnecessary to take CET-6. They remain satisfied with their having passed GET-4, leave English behind and never study it again.
I am of the opinion that we should take CET-6 for the followihe reasons:
First, having passed CET-4 only shows that you have mastered the basic skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This is far from enough. We should aim high and achieve more.
Second, with the development of national eeonomy, and the open-door policy of our government, there is an increasing need for using English to communicate. We should not only listen, read and write English well but alu speak fluently. CET-6 has a higher requirement of the examinees and can serve an a way to stinaulate our study.
Last but not least, CET-6 is set by language experts in a scientific and standard way so as to evaluate a student's English ability. Many enterprises hire empoyees with the requirement that they pass CET-6. So to be more competitive in the job market, we also need to further our English study by taking CET-6.
I take CET-6 not only for the certification but also for the interests it arouses in me to better my Enghsh. Even after I pass the test, I will continue learning English.

當(dāng)今，越來越多的人參加大學(xué)英語六x級考試。他們感到在通過英語四級后有必要以考試作動力來促進(jìn)自己繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)；而有些人卻認(rèn)為沒有必要。他們對通過四級已經(jīng)滿足，把英語丟在腦后，不再學(xué)了。
我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該參加英語六級考試，其理由如下：
首先，通過英語四級考試只說明你掌握了聽、說、讀、寫的基本技能。這遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠。我們應(yīng)該樹立大目標(biāo)，取得更大的成績。
其次，隨著國民經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展和政府的對外開放，越來越需要用英語進(jìn)行交流。我們不僅要會聽、讀、寫，還要流利地說英語。英語六級考試對考生的要求更高，可以促進(jìn)我們的學(xué)習(xí)。
最后但不是最不重要，英語六級考試由語言專家用科學(xué)、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的方法命題，以便衡量一個學(xué)生的英語能力。許多企業(yè)要求其雇員通過英語六級考試。因此，為了在求職市場上更具競爭力，我們也需要借助參加六級考試來進(jìn)一步學(xué)好英語。
我參加英語六級考試不僅是為了獲得證書，還因?yàn)樗ぐl(fā)我對英語的興趣。即使通過了考試，我也將繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)英語。
