To them money is much much more important than health. As it says, " money is the root of all evil." I agree with it. 　　Everybody wishes (hopes) to get money so that he can maintain his livelihood. In other words, money is so useful that it is mpossible for mankind to live without it. 　　Different people have diffhrent views on money. It is held that money is the source of happiness. But it is also held that money is the root of evil. Those who hold the first opinion think that with money one can enjoy everything luxurious in the world; one can eat delicacies and drink good wine, can buy a luxurious house or car, and can travel around the world. In contrast, those who hold the second view think that with money some people visit prostitutes and abuse drug, others bribe government officials, manipulate an election or the parliament, even form terrorist organizations and launch unjust wars. In my opinion, money is something but not everything. Not every rich person is happy, nor is every poor person unhappy. Besides, I think money itself is neither good nor bad. It is the person who uses money that can be regarded as good or bad. Money can be used to build a country but it can also be used to destroy a country. Therefore, money itself has nothing to do with happiness or evil

　　For those friends whom I don’t get so familiar, I need to take consideration. If the one who gets bad reputation, I will make some excuses and avoiding borrowing money to him. To the one who I am not so sure whether he will return, I will make some discount, giving him small part of the money, telling him there is no need for him to return, thus our friendship won’t be hurt, at the same time, he won’t ask me again.

　　At present some people think that money is everything. They say that you can do everything if you have money. You can live in a beautiful house, keep a luxurious ear and have all sorts of delicious food.

　　I don't think so. Indeed, money can buy a lot of things we need. But there are many, many wonderful things in the world that cannot be bought with money.

　　For example, knowledge cannot be bought with money. One cannot be rich in knowledge unless he studies hard. Time cannot be bought with money, either. Who can buy even a second with money?

　　There are still many other things that cannot be bought with money: health, life, happiness, friendship, love and so on. Just think, if a person hasn't these things at all, is the money still useful?

　　Now, do you think money is everything?

　　金錢就是一切嗎?

　　近來，有些人認為錢就是一切，他們說，要是有了錢，你就可以做任何事情，你可以住舒適的房子，坐豪華的轎車，吃可口的飯菜。
