After two years, Zhang Shuai started to be noticed, and she became the best female tennis player in China. Actually, she was not the young player, and she have played tennis match for a long time, but she just couldn’t make the breakthrough. She even decided to give up, but Li Na told her to give herself one more chance. Then she insisted, finally, she made the great breakthrough and beat many top player in the grand slam. Sometimes when you think you should give up, but it is not the time, just keep on and you can see the sunshine.

　　In China, when children make mistakes, the parents will tell others that they are just kids and want others to forgive their children. It seems so reasonable for small kids to make mistake, because they are young and reckless. While for most parents in western countries, parents take different attitudes towards their kids when they make mistakes. The parents will not have violent act, instead, they will educate the kids and let them realize their bad behavior. I appreciate the foreign parents’ way, as they educate children in the first moment and won’t find excuse for their mistakes. Small age is not the reason to get away from responsibility. If the wrong acts are not corrected immediately, then it is possible for the kids to continue the mistake, someday become big mistakes.

　　在中國，當孩子犯了錯時，父母都會跟別人說他們還只是孩子，希望別人原諒自己的孩子。這似乎成了孩子們犯錯理所當然的借口，因為年輕，所以可以無視后果。而對于大多數(shù)西方國家的父母來說，他們對孩子犯錯誤有著不一樣的態(tài)度。西方父母不會使用暴力行為，相反，他們會教育孩子，讓他們意識到自己的不良行為。我很欣賞外國父母的行為方式，他們會在第一時間教育孩子，而不是找借口。年紀小不是推脫責任的理由。如果不立即糾正錯誤的行為，那么孩子們就又可能會繼續(xù)犯錯誤，總有一天會犯大錯誤。

　　I always wanted to raise a pet, but my mother refused because I even couldn’t look after myself well. But recently, my mother changed her attitude, she bought me a lovely cat as my birthday gift. I was very happy and promised to keep it well. Since raising this lovely creature, I became patient. When I bathed her, she struggled and tried to run away, then I had to grab it back. The most important thing was to feed food on time and clean the place that the cat lived. Sometimes I felt so dirty to do it, but I had made my promise and couldn’t break my words. I learned a lot from raising a pet. I started to consider my mother’s feelings when I became naughty. I needed to make some changes and be a better girl.

　　我一直想養(yǎng)一只寵物，但是我媽媽一直都在拒絕我，因為她覺得我連自己都照顧不好。但最近，我媽媽改變了她的態(tài)度，她給我買了一只可愛的貓作為我的生日禮物。我很高興，承諾要好好的養(yǎng)護。自從養(yǎng)了這個可愛的生物之后，我變得有耐心。我給她洗澡時，她會掙扎，試圖逃跑，我不得不把它抓回來。最重要的是要按時給它喂食物，還有把它住的地方弄干凈。有時我覺得很臟，但是既然我做出了承諾，就不能食言。養(yǎng)寵物讓我學到了很多，我開始體會到我調(diào)皮時媽媽的感受了。我需要做出一些改變，成為更好的女孩。
