Traveling around the world is many people's dream. It is a great way for people to see new places meet new people and learn new cultures. However,you may have some trouble during the trip if you don't know the local customs or how to speak the local language.Some people would like to try using gestures to "talk with "the local people .That is to say ,they want to tell others their feelings or thoughts by moving their hands or body parts.
Gestures can really help us to express ourselves in some way,but there is one thing we shouldn't forger--every country is different in the way their people speak and communicate with each other.So a simple gesture may be OK in one country but not OK in another country .
Hotel Contract Beds is a company good at making hotel beds. Recently ,it has created a series of pictures of gestures around the world ,hoping to help people understand different meanings of the gestures in different cultutes and avoid making silly mistakes. Just take the "OK"sign for example.In China ,we use the sign very often when we want to tell others everything is all right .However ,in other parts of the world ,such as Greece,Spain or Brazil,people see the "OK"sign as very rude and it's not a good idea to use it in these countries.What 's more ,in some Middle Eastern countries such as Kuwait ,the sign stands for the evil eye.
