利用文中插圖，進行導語設計
新編高中英語教材圖文并茂，幾乎每一篇閱讀課文均配有一幅與該材料密切聯(lián)系的插圖�；趯處熤笇� 作用的認識以及對新教材的理解，我多次嘗試運用文中插圖進行導語設計并付諸實踐，收到了良好的教學效果 。
利用文中插圖，通過問答、討論的形式和言簡意賅、提綱挈領的導語，逐步引入本課的話題，讓學生適度 了解話題的內容，易激起學生內在的學習動力，使課堂氣氛十分活躍。合理利用插圖，能創(chuàng)設更多的交際情景 ，能鍛煉學生的觀察力和培養(yǎng)他們的思維能力。利用文中插圖導入新課，能激活學生永久記憶中相關的知識網 絡，使他們產生閱讀的愿望和心理準備，并為下一步默讀、朗讀，分角色對話，帶著問題快讀和訓練閱讀技巧 鋪平道路。以下為高一新教材插圖導入語設計節(jié)選。
Lesson 6

Ss: He is a middle-aged man with a pair of glasses. He isshowing one of his fingers to the class with a smile on hisface...
T: As you see, there are three small cups and a big cup onthe teacher's desk. What can you g uess they hold?
