One experience showed me what love was really like

　　my grandfather is a 75-year-old man who is infected with the parkinson's disease. this disease has tormented him 8 years so far. the symptom of the disease is that he always shakes his hand out of control and he always feels body inabilities, so he is not convenient to do everything. my father is a dutiful son and he always does what my grandfather can’t do to improve his life quality.

　　one winter night i went to my grandfather’s house with my father. he rolled up his sleeves and went to the bathroom for instant. he poured the hot water into the foot basin and i was confused because i didn’t know what he was going to do. he used his hand to feel the temperature of the hot water and added some cold water for some times. his graveness made me thought that he was going to do an experiment. my grandfather just stood on his smooth chair peacefully. then my father picked the foot basin and walked straight to my grandfather. he squatted in front of my grandfather. then he looked at my grandfather and asked softly” do you need me to take off your stockings or you can do it yourself today?”” you help me.” my grandfather answered like a child with a satisfied smile. my father untied the shoelace carefully. one of his hands held up the foot and one hand pulled the shoes, then he took off the shoes skillfully. after took off the shoes, he furled my grandfather’ trouser with caution. it seemed like that if my father pushed hard then it will hurt his foot. my father put my grandfather’s feet soaked into the water. “what about the temperature?”” just right.” in the meanwhile, my father used his hands to rubbed his feet. every corner of the feet has been cleaned by my father diligently. when the water became cold, my father added the hot water for minute and used his hand to stir the water in order to mix the cold water and the hot water.

　　my tears stared to bleed and in that moment i know what love was really like.
