一、注重預(yù)習(xí)。
“預(yù)習(xí)”是一種良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣，是課堂教學(xué)中的重要環(huán)節(jié)。它作為學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程的起始階段，是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自學(xué)能力的重要途徑，在提高學(xué)習(xí)效率方面有著重要的作用。它不僅能幫學(xué)生“學(xué)會(huì)”知識(shí)，更能幫助學(xué)生“會(huì)學(xué)”知識(shí)。做好預(yù)習(xí)工作，功在課外，利在課內(nèi)。我們有以下幾個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)：
1、布置預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè)。
在寒暑假來(lái)臨之前，學(xué)校要求每位教師給學(xué)生特別布置假期預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè)。為了使預(yù)習(xí)有章可循，教師列出預(yù)習(xí)提綱，分發(fā)給每個(gè)學(xué)生。針對(duì)預(yù)習(xí)內(nèi)容，教師必須提出明確的預(yù)習(xí)要求。而且預(yù)習(xí)要求必須合理，正確，有可操作性。我們給學(xué)生布置了預(yù)習(xí)前三單元的內(nèi)容，具體到哪一天預(yù)習(xí)哪幾頁(yè)單詞，背會(huì)哪部分對(duì)話，掌握哪幾個(gè)句型，理解哪項(xiàng)語(yǔ)法內(nèi)容。此外，每日摘抄一句英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)，兩天一篇閱讀理解，五天一篇英語(yǔ)練筆（小作文）。
2、指導(dǎo)預(yù)習(xí)方法。
針對(duì)不同的教學(xué)內(nèi)容指導(dǎo)學(xué)生選用合適的預(yù)習(xí)方法，通過(guò)查閱資料、聽錄音帶、網(wǎng)絡(luò)學(xué)習(xí)、向哥哥姐姐求教等多種方法來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)。例如：會(huì)話練習(xí)可以采用查一查，補(bǔ)一補(bǔ)，說(shuō)一說(shuō)的方法；句型練習(xí)可以采用找一找，歸一歸，比一比的方法；閱讀練習(xí)可以采用劃一劃，查一查，寫一寫的方法。我們知道“授之一魚，只供一餐，授之以漁，可享一生�！敝灰獔�(jiān)持運(yùn)用科學(xué)的方法培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí)習(xí)慣，學(xué)生們一定會(huì)學(xué)會(huì)預(yù)習(xí)，運(yùn)用預(yù)習(xí)，學(xué)會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)，為他們的終身學(xué)習(xí)奠下良好的基礎(chǔ).
3、爭(zhēng)取得到家長(zhǎng)的配合。
為了學(xué)生在假期期間更好地完成預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè)，使預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè)更有成效，我們學(xué)校在放假前特意召開了家長(zhǎng)會(huì)，把學(xué)校的想法、做法與家長(zhǎng)們溝通交流，期望家長(zhǎng)能做好督促檢查工作。事實(shí)證明，我們得到了很多家長(zhǎng)的配合。
4、檢查預(yù)習(xí)效果。
檢查學(xué)生預(yù)習(xí)是否到位，存在有哪些問(wèn)題，以便今后教學(xué)做到有的放矢。開學(xué)的第二天，我們學(xué)校就組織了各科的預(yù)習(xí)考試。成績(jī)上報(bào)學(xué)校，并作出效果分析。由于我們英語(yǔ)學(xué)科的特點(diǎn)，初二學(xué)生在預(yù)習(xí)單詞和每單元的語(yǔ)法聚焦兩方面比較好，但知識(shí)點(diǎn)和句型的靈活運(yùn)用還有待提高。
二、抓好教研組建設(shè)。
學(xué)校是一個(gè)大群體，而教研組是一個(gè)小群體，教師是這個(gè)群體中的成員，我們每位教師的成長(zhǎng)與發(fā)展都離不開這個(gè)群體。我校在抓教研組建設(shè)方面工作做得扎實(shí)，有條不紊，為每位教師的發(fā)展搭建了平臺(tái)。積極開展教研組的說(shuō)、上、評(píng)課活動(dòng)，要求人人過(guò)關(guān)。緊緊圍繞教研組的活動(dòng)專題，重視對(duì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣培養(yǎng)的研究，和對(duì)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)意識(shí)培養(yǎng)的研究。通過(guò)教研活動(dòng)，使本教研組全體英語(yǔ)教師共同提高，人人受益。也讓我感受到了集體的力量是無(wú)窮的，實(shí)現(xiàn)了教師之間，同伴之間的團(tuán)結(jié)協(xié)作。一個(gè)人有困難時(shí)，大家都來(lái)幫助，讓她從困境中走出，不斷發(fā)展自己，提高自己，身處在這樣一個(gè)教師群體中，我深感榮幸。
三、加強(qiáng)備課組的集體備課。
集體備課是發(fā)揮群體優(yōu)勢(shì)，提高備課質(zhì)量的重要途徑，也是落實(shí)教學(xué)常規(guī)，提高課堂教學(xué)效率的.必要措施。我校很重視英語(yǔ)教研，特別安排了主抓教學(xué)的劉校長(zhǎng)下組監(jiān)督指導(dǎo)，使活動(dòng)有計(jì)劃、有目標(biāo)、有實(shí)效。我們英語(yǔ)備課組的三位教師積極組織集體備課，研究教學(xué)內(nèi)容，研究學(xué)生，進(jìn)度，研究教學(xué)方法，安排及教學(xué)資料做到一致。我們每周至少活動(dòng)一次，時(shí)間固定，有活動(dòng)記錄。每次活動(dòng)都定有中心發(fā)言人，定活動(dòng)的主題，不走形式，不敷衍了事，切實(shí)解決教學(xué)中的一些問(wèn)題，努力提高課堂教學(xué)質(zhì)量，完善教學(xué)，規(guī)范我們的教學(xué)行為，向課堂40分鐘要質(zhì)量。
四、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主探究學(xué)習(xí)的能力。
本學(xué)年我們學(xué)校一直倡導(dǎo)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主探究學(xué)習(xí)的能力。要求教學(xué)要以學(xué)生為主體，轉(zhuǎn)變角色，成為學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的引導(dǎo)者、幫助者。在課堂中要求教師要“少講多學(xué)”，即教師少講，學(xué)生多學(xué)。堅(jiān)持放手原則：凡是學(xué)生能讀的就讓學(xué)生讀，凡是學(xué)生能說(shuō)的就讓學(xué)生說(shuō)，凡是學(xué)生能想的就讓學(xué)生想，凡是學(xué)生能討論的就讓學(xué)生討論，凡是學(xué)生能寫的就讓學(xué)生寫，凡是學(xué)生能做的就讓學(xué)生做。給學(xué)生自學(xué)時(shí)間、提問(wèn)時(shí)間、讀書時(shí)間和練習(xí)時(shí)間。在教學(xué)中，我們鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生嘗試地交流、討論、質(zhì)疑、解惑；把問(wèn)的權(quán)利交給學(xué)生，把講的機(jī)會(huì)讓給學(xué)生，讓學(xué)生參與到知識(shí)形成的過(guò)程中，并從中感受到“參與之樂(lè)，思維之趣，成功之悅”。

Do you often use batteries? Then do you know it takes 50 times more energy to make them than they produce? And just one simple battery can pollute as much water as a person can drink in his whole life. The facts and figures are amazing. So would you please try to use batteries only when it is necessary? If possible, give the used ones to the recycling companies so that they will be made into new ones and won’t be able to pollute the environment any more. Sometimes we become complacent when it comes to recycling, but when you speak in terms of actual facts and figures that everybody can understand, people become much clearer about the problem.
We, as school students, can also join in recycling activities to protect the environment. For example, our class set up a recycling center beside the back door, it is very useful. It is used to collect the waste paper and plastic bottles. In the past, our classmates used to throw all of these into the trashcan. At the very beginning of this collecting activity, it was not so warm-welcomed. Later, more and more people were influenced by the others and joined this collecting activity. Gradually, all the students in our class form a good habit to protect the environment. All of us will now put away the reusable things instead of throwing them into the trashcan.
We should always remember in our mind that protecting the environment is our duty that we can never neglect. Finally would you please let me end this speech with a little poem, “Be kind to the river. Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

that's all good news.
but an awful lot of middle class americans are still not feeling the effects of this recovery. since the year , gross domestic product-our gdp - has risen by 25%. and productivity in america is up by 30%. but middle class wages during that same time period have gone up by only fourteen cents.
folks, it's long past time to cut the middle class back into the deal, so they can benefit from the economic growth they helped create. folks, there used to be a bargain in this country supported by democrats6 and republicans, business and labor7. the bargain was simple. if an employee contributed to the growth and profitability of the company, they got to share in the profits and the benefits as well. that's what built the middle class. it's time to restore the bargain, to deal the middle class back in. because, folks, when the middle class does well, everybody does well-the wealthy get wealthier and the poor have a way up.
you know, the middle class is not a number. it's a value set. it means being able to own your home; raise your children in a safe neighborhood; send them to a good school where if they do well they can qualify to go to college and if they get accepted you'd be able to find a way to be able to send them to college. and in the meantime, if your parents need help, being able to take care of them, and hope to put aside enough money so that your children will not have to take care of you.
that's the american dream. that's what this country was built on. and that's what we'redetermined8 to restore.
in order to do that, it's time to have a fair tax structure, one that values paychecks as much as unearned income and inherited wealth, to take some of the burden off of the middle class. it's time to close tax loopholes so we can reduce the deficit9, and invest in rebuilding america - our bridges, our ports, our highways, rails, providing good jobs.
with corporate10 profits at near record highs, we should encourage corporations to invest more in research and development and the salaries of their employees. it's time for us to invest in educational opportunity to guarantee that we have the most highly skilledworkforce11 in the world, for 6 out of every 10 jobs in the near term is going to require some education beyond high school. folks, it's long past due to increase the minimum wage that will lift millions of hardworking families out of poverty target poverty and in the process produce a ripple12 effect that boosts wages for the middle class and spurs economic growth for the united states of america. economists13 acknowledge that if we do these and other things, wages will go up and we'll increase the gross domestic product of the united states.
